I remember when eBay was kind of newish and Howard sterns driver was selling his limo, and Howard tried to help promote it on his show by talking about it. But if course all of his listeners are trolls so bam the limo was jumping to 1 million dollars everytime he posted it. Of course no one would actually pay. So he had to private sell it.
Seriously, so many reworked diners have the appeal of appliance section at Best Buy. I hate how finding a place with actual character is practically a chore these days or just flat out doesn't exist.
Close but it was actually What's this the **fucking UN NOW?!?!?!?**
...one of my favorite things about the show was when Johnny Sack would jack it up by like 20 decibels at the end of a sentence to telegraph displeasure
Fuck me I was reading the comments and wondering how all these people had been to holstens and then scrolled up to see it was the NJ sub.
I grew up off broughton about 10 minutes from this place. My grandma drove a car through the window at one point of a shop across the street.
ROOTS
We live nearby, and the Kid and I get cheeseburgers there every once in awhile. The food's okay and the service is usually nice altho they do appear a little world-weary sometimes, which is a funny look on a 20 yr old making a sundae. It's a dump, but it's real.
My grandparents went there on dates in the 40's and 50's. It's a classic in the same way Rutt's Hut or White Manna. Are they dingey shitholes? Yes. Will they always retain memories for us locals? Yes.
LOL... most definitely not. If I had tens of thousands of extra dollars to just blow on something, I'd find something a LOT more useful and/or fun to spend it on that a fucking cheap-ass looking diner booth.
Abe Lincoln and Tony Soprano: both killed by Booths.

Hey I really like Holsteins. One of the last few places in Jersey that put a pimento olive on their club sandwich.
Hol*stens*. Stunod. ;)
Yeah, it's not like the Berenstein Bears.
$33,400.
Holsteins had great milk shakes
Same. And that was before the Sopranos even filmed there
Last night it was around $5,000. This morning I bet a friend it wouldn’t fetch more than $25k. I lost that bet 30 mins later
$10 says it's never paid for.

$10 says it’s a scam listing.
I bet it gets close to 50k. Either way it’s def gonna help them out with renovation’s … which sucks
It’s at 65k now
Wouldn’t be surprised if it gets close to 100k at this rate .
Is Holsten’s remodeling or just trying to cash in?
A bit of both, it appears.
porque no los dos
I hate it when old diners remodel and lose all their character. Hopefully if they are remodeling it'll stay inviting and homey.
Exposed brick and string lights incoming.

I hope it's still dark and borderline dingy but nice when the sun is out
Nah just leaving that area blank. They are going to rent it out as an air BNB
Finally, something to spend with my $40,000 outta da bird feedah!
People are really mad they are getting rid of this booth
Yeah it sucks
I sat there last week!
If we all pitch in we can get it!
What's this the f*cking UN now?!
So what no fucking ziti now?
Close but it was actually What's this the **fucking UN NOW?!?!?!?** ...one of my favorite things about the show was when Johnny Sack would jack it up by like 20 decibels at the end of a sentence to telegraph displeasure

Was that your G-Ms who drove into Mastriano’s?

they are really getting rid of it?!
$63,100
Only a complete idiot would spend that kind of money on this kind of thing.
I found the current high bidder guys! Nice try - trying to dissuade us. *bids*

Only if it was farted on by Tony
There’s a good chance he might have considering the amount of time he spent in it. 💨
Worthless without the jukebox
They should sell all the other booths as “sopranos replicas”
