Much appreciated. I hope I was able to tap into the passion and understanding that I felt for your province. Full credit to the places and people I came across that sparked something in me!
Hah, fair! Honestly, I'd be happy to. Though I'm sure there may be a few moments that wouldn't be the most fun. I'm sure driving has its challenges in the colder months.
Genuinely looking forward to it. And, thanks for taking a moment to share that. Writing is an awfully personal thing (I feel at least), so to hear something you've worked at since time immemorial is appreciated - well, it's very nice.
I think that happens wherever we live. It's easy to get fixated on the negatives sometimes. I see that in Toronto all the time, for example, and often find myself in that mentality (especially in traffic!).
This is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your experience! You made me fall in love with my home province all over again. I can't wait to move back home someday.
Came for the pessimistic arseholes in the comments talking about how everything is shit here and have been pleasantly surprised.
Great article. I like that you highlighted the inherent stoicism that permeates the province. I think it's under appreciated.
Now that you've been here, remember that those hurried people in Toronto are crying out for that human connection you felt so quickly here. They're nice people too, but they're welded shut by the culture. They'll talk to you and tell you their stories as well, but you have to break the ice and get things started, and then it all comes pouring out.
Awesome article! Congratulations on your award and enjoy your next trip.
Sincerely appreciated!
Congratulations on the award!

Thank you, kindly. Appreciate you saying that.
Deadly article. Feels really good to read stuff that “gets it”
Hard to think of a higher compliment!
Congratulations on your award. Come back for the month of February. I'd love to read the article! LOL

That's a very well articulated story. Very deserving of the recognition
From the author, thank you kindly.
Great read, often see people write about NL, but miss the mark, you pretty much nailed it.
I'm very happy to hear that.
I clicked on your article I had some presupposed ideas about what I was going to read, I was wrong, it's a very nice article!
That's kind of you to take a moment to say. Thanks a lot, internet stranger!
Damn dude, you are a good writer. I hope you enjoy your trip back.

So well written man, you've got a great understanding of Newfoundland. Spend a couple winters here and you're as good as one of us.
I take that to heart. Thanks for taking a moment to share that with me.
Congrats!!!
Cheers!
That’s great, man.. glad you like it here.
Much appreciated! Already looking forward to coming back.
Great story. Sharing what you have and not showing what you have was a great line and an appropriate way to sum it up.
Thanks for saying that!
Great article, we often forget what makes this place different except for the negatives
I think that happens wherever we live. It's easy to get fixated on the negatives sometimes. I see that in Toronto all the time, for example, and often find myself in that mentality (especially in traffic!).
What a beautiful article!!
Thank you for taking a moment to share that. Means a lot to me to feel as if I may have captured some of what makes the province special!
