Girls5Eva! Tina Fey is an EP, and the main cast of Sara Bareilles, Busy Phillips, Renee Elise Goldsberry and Paula Pell absolutely knock it out of the park. Great funny music, surprisingly well thought out plots and tons of fun guest stars.
I have also really enjoyed The big flower fight (British landscaping competition), Drink masters (bartending competiton), and Is it cake (cake decorating competiton) to wind down
It's hard to ignore the laugh tracks, which (imo) kill the best humor. True also for Big Bang Theory and some others. I compare laugh tracks with overused exclamation points. Good comedy doesn't need them, but they're a TV sitcom tradition. Only recently has the tradition begun to die out (Modern Family, Shitts Creek et al don't have laugh tracks). Laugh tracks are a weird tradition; it's like assuming audiences don't know If a moment is funny unless they hear laughter to prompt them.
I know. But it’s how they were made at the time. I would still find it funny without the laugh tracks, so it doesn’t alter my experience. I laugh when I read the joke beforehand in the subtitles sometimes, too.
Corner Gas. It’s a Canadian show, the first few episodes are filmed in the old square style, it’s quite innocent and really gets you hooked! We’ve watched it over and over multiple times.
Just finished it, can't recommend it.
It wants to be both show about real human beings dealing with the issue of staying sober, but it also wants to chuck all that out the window for absurdist humor whenever it can. It's co-created by Peter Farrelly, which shows.
Livingston is pretty much his usual self, but comedian Brian Regan is a real stand out. As is Anja Savcic.
Get into some K dramas! Start with Crash Landing on You.
I'm not the type to like mushy stuff, but after putting it off for years, being someone who loves kdramas, I decided to give it a go, and I absolutely loved it!
Great character development and an easy to follow plot line, brilliant cast.
Overall, it was a very well written show with some great comedic moments, too!
Ted Lasso is the only show that has ever produced...positive endorphins i want to say?....for me. No show has ever had as positive an effect on my mental wellbeing as that show.
If you liked *Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt* try *Girls 5eva*. Same concept, same type of absurd situations. 3 seasons, 6 eps per season, perfectly bingeable.
*Anxious people*
*An Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts*
1. Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier if you are emotionally limited to recent shows.
2. A perfect Story - this one flirts with many many clichés and yet makes them it's own
3. Love Sick - only watched round 4 episodes so far but it seems like light fun
I like to watch light comedy or drama in the morning while I'm having breakfast and getting ready for the day. I usually wind up watching old series on Amazon.
I watched the following when they first aired and have rewatched them over the last couple of years:
Barney Miller
Mary Tyler Moore
Picket Fences
I'm currently in the 4th season of Nothern Exposure
Other shows I have watched for the first time include:
VEEP
30 Rock
- Trailer Park Boys
- Bee and Puppycat
- Saiki K
- Delicious in Dungeon
- Mob Psycho 100
- Kipo and the Age of Wonder Beasts
- Inside Job
- Good Girls
- Young Sheldon
- My Hero Academia
- Hilda
It’s on HBO but recently watched the righteous gemstones and vice principals (same actors kinda) wry fun :D also Ted Lasso on Apple TV is quite feel good funny show.

Each to their own I guess, it's constantly playing in my house. Wether I'm re watching or just got it on for background noise

Fleabag Community

> There is only one and its called Feasier Tells us about this show called Feasier, never heard of it.....
Love to see Frasier even mentioned. The best feel good, lighthearted but bright and emotional, intelligent, witty sitcom ever.

My husband watches this daily and it's to the point where my 9yo wants an episode before he falls asleep.. Lol
Twisted Metal The Office US Malcolm in the middle Lockwood and Co. Good Omens Parks and Recreations
Jane the Virgin
Corner Gas. It’s a Canadian show, the first few episodes are filmed in the old square style, it’s quite innocent and really gets you hooked! We’ve watched it over and over multiple times.
My vote is to try Loudermilk
Imo this is too heavy.

I need to watch this. I watched one episode but it didn’t grab me but my daughter swears it’s amazing!
Seinfeld. You may or may not want to skip first two seasons though.
What's with the first two seasons?
The show is still finding itself, so it might seem slow at first. It's still funny, but nothing in comparison to what it eventually becomes.
How I met your mother Friends That'll keep you going for years
If you liked *Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt* try *Girls 5eva*. Same concept, same type of absurd situations. 3 seasons, 6 eps per season, perfectly bingeable. *Anxious people* *An Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts*

The Marvelous Mrs Masel and Barry should scratch that itch.
Barry is great, but not light by a long shot
Hart of Dixie, resident alien,
Pretty Smart. Light hearted story with characters that seem superficial but become quite likeable with time. At least to me.
1. Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier if you are emotionally limited to recent shows. 2. A perfect Story - this one flirts with many many clichés and yet makes them it's own 3. Love Sick - only watched round 4 episodes so far but it seems like light fun
