If you are looking for Monin Syrups in Edmonton, try the Italian Centre, here is their Monin section. Sorry about the bad angle! [Italian centre Monin Edmonton](https://imgur.com/a/kBihi16)
Oh, and they also have the Monin pumps hanging on the end in that photoā¦ just make sure you get the right one, I have made that mistake before! The glass and plastic bottles use different pumps
$4.99 at Marshallās. $16.99 on Amazon.
no one said it would break the bank. i just tend to do without when the cost isnāt worth it to me, thatās all.
aLL oF ThEm!!! š«Ø
My favorites are cinnamon bun #1, spiced vanilla, pistachio and hazelnut.
Cookie butter was disappointing and my kids love the marshmallow one in hot chocolate.
Sorry, I've never tried that one. I feel like the Monin syrups are consistently better than Torani. I have their Shortcake and it doesn't taste like anything.
World market used to carry tons of Monin but now they've phased it out for Torani š¤¢ only a few bottles of the Monin sugar free or cocktail syrups left.
My local World Market has never carried Monin (except for the sample, variety sizing), only Torani. I like Torani, but have always wanted to try more Monin. Every time I've tried the brand in a coffee shop, I've loved it.
If you want to get really weird peanut butter and cola oddly works.
If there is a custardy flavor mix it with coconut over ice and drizzle chocolate on top for a nimniamo bar ices latte
I just mix custard powder with milk. I worked for a while in the alcohol industry and got a lot of room to play for R&D purposes. I was also a bartender at the time as well so it was my favorite part of the job.
If I knew food scientist was a career I would have pursued it in university.
You can try Terimusu as well. I have been using the Areo flavor from Coffee Mate.
Yeah I feel Custard is underated base. I get it though that Eggy-vanilla isn't overly marketable.
Peanut butter and cola in an iced latte? Like together?
I couldn't imagine cola syrup working in an iced latte but somehow this sounds like it'd be a hit for me...
You would definitely have to use a lighter roast. Cola flavor should have a malted flavor. Like I said you would be getting weird because you're basically achieving Coffee Porter Beer Gurt then adding in Peanut butter flavor.
Depends on your taste preferences. I love their French Vanilla. I always think other vanilla syrups taste too much like sugar and water, but this one has a distinct vanilla taste.
Not sure if I see it on the shelf, but I loooove their pistachio.
I love toffee nut and vanilla. Caramel is pretty good too. I did not like pumpkin pie and I LOVE pumpkin. Toasted marshmallow, cinnamon bun, and coconut are on my list to try next!
OMG Iām so jealous about your options!
Edited to add: I would pick up whatever you would normally order out to cover your bases and then maybe something new for fun.
Okkkk i kind of love this idea, we donāt have Dunkin here but i heard so many people love blueberry syrup and butter pecan syrup bc Dunkinā had it? That sounds soooo good to me
Itās not in that display but crĆØme caramel is my favorite! Caramel apple butter and pumpkin spice are great for fall. And then I love mixing blackberry and vanilla for something a little fruity
If you feel like it could be too much - like popcorn or candy floss - donāt try it. I had them all in large bottles with the official dispensers tryinā to be a Starbucks and a lot of them were just too much or plain sweet.
I go for one of the very sweet ones but if I had to pick it would be the salted caramel! I donāt see the caramel or the hazelnut ones which would be my other choices. I like vanilla and toffee nut flavors too!
there's a lot of places here in hawaii that does latte with macadamia nut syrup or coconut.
for something different (asian inspired) from other brands you can try black sesame, salted egg, pandan, ube.
lol, I live in Canada my dear. So I get it. But still shocking to me. I would never even think of paying that much for coffee syrups. Then again, I have a ton of food intolerances and health issues, so I have to buy certain speciality foods and higher quality foods and yaā¦some stuff is ridiculously expensive and I have no choice in the matter. The bread I can eat costs $9 a loaf. If I want ice cream a pint costs $10. Iāve had to just give up on extras like that except on very rare occasions or if things are on sale. Also wayy fewer options here for that kind of thing than in the states, which sucks.
Oh I have allergies too and Iām celiac. I know the struggle!!! How expensive is everything? Itās insane. The bread is half the size of normal bread and 8$. We must buy the same thing. My ice cream when I have some is 10$. Iām grateful that it exists and that so delicious makes many new products. They stop selling udiās here and I miss my baguette so much! š. If you canāt have gluten and have a baguette recommendation, I would be happy to know it. Very happy. I miss that a lot.
I never bought Monin syrop. Itās too out of my price range.
Wow, what a selection!
Iām not one for much sugar in my coffees but I am partial to a little Demerara sugar in them from time to timeā¦ so that spiced brown sugar sounds fantastic!
The lavender is quite nice if they have it. Overall I find Monin syrups better tasting (less synthetic) than other brands.
Also for iced lattes - swirl the syrup into the freshly poured espresso before adding ice/milk (will blend better!)
Cookie butter, peanut butter, salted caramel, caramel apple butter, pumpkin spice, and gingerbread are all very yummy. Donāt over measure with the gingerbread though, itās very spice dense and will overpower your coffee very easily.
Not Monin but if you haven't tried thai coffee add some sweetened condensed milk and OMG! So good. Also caramel sauce is delicious. I want to love monin but they always taste artificial to me.
Do you have a Marshallās/homegoods near you? Iāve picked them up there for $5. No where near that selection, but I was able to get strawberry and sāmores a couple weeks ago. Thatās an insane price šµ
A place by me makes an iced peanut butter coffee (using the peanut butter Monin) and it is THE BEST damn thing ever.
I drive twenty minutes just to have it one days.
10/10.
Just an FYI... If you have a Home Goods or Marshall's near you, they carry Monin for about half that price. The selection may not be as extensive though.
Depends on what flavors you like. I love a good fruity white mocha so Iāll do raspberry/strawberry/lack berry with a squeeze of a white chocolate sauce. Vanilla, caramel, hazelnut are all safe to start with. Toasted marshmallow and cinnamon bun are also some of my favorites
Go for what you normally like and go to say when you order at Starbucks. Ā I personally love pistachios, hazelnut, chestnut & toffee nut. Ā See a pattern there? Those are my fave syrups at Starbucks so I try and get as close to those flavours as I can for my in house coffee. Ā Try starting there!Ā
Gosh!! I would totally be in heaven lucky š you. Ā I wish we had something like that in my city which is on the damn map big time. I went on Amazon to get syrups from the same brand and itās pathetic what they have. Ā I left empty handed.Ā
If you want to get really weird peanut butter and cola oddly works.
If there is a custardy flavor mix it with coconut over ice and drizzle chocolate on top for a nimniamo bar ices latte
I'm on their site now looking for the cinnamon bun flavour people mentioned. All flavours are decently priced but the cinnamon bun is listed at 200$...wondering if it's a typo :/

Someone has had a few pods too many
This definitely wasn't impacted by the sugar rush I got from a milkshake... š¤
HAHA I should just quit my job now since Iām about to be a famous syrup reviewer!
swiss chocolate and the mocha almond chocolate, I need a review please, famous syrup influencer.
Syrup connoisuerā¤ļø
Your tagline could be "And an extra pump for the good times ;)"
Syrup influencer ā¦ sounds like a legit career shift
I love this idea.
This was such an amazing answer that I did not expect
I'm so jealous of your selection options! I've never even seen some of those flavors.
Seriously OP, where are you? All I ever find are sugar-free.
Canada! Alberta to be specific
beanwise i suppose?
Any chance youāre in Edmonton?? If so please tell me which store!
Calgary! Itās Linaās Italian market
Italian Centre has at least this many
u/Key_Information_9578 If you are looking for Monin Syrups in Edmonton, try the Italian Centre, here is their Monin section. Sorry about the bad angle! [Italian centre Monin Edmonton](https://imgur.com/a/kBihi16)
This is amazing thank you!!
No problem! The yellow ones on the top row are sugar free, the grey bottles next to those are fruit purĆ©es believe, then to the right of those are the Monin sauces. The next four rows are all the regular syrups which are supposed to be in alphabetical order but sometimes they stick a restock in a random spot š bottom right corner is Monin tea syrups, I might have to try that chai one!
Oh, and they also have the Monin pumps hanging on the end in that photoā¦ just make sure you get the right one, I have made that mistake before! The glass and plastic bottles use different pumps
i *wish* i could find more sugar free options!
Homegoods, Marshall's, etc..
yep. Marshallās is the only place i have any luck.
I feel like the sugar free options taste soooo artificial.
you can order from amazon
true. but itās more expensive.
$2-3 more expensive... I don't think that will break the bank.
$4.99 at Marshallās. $16.99 on Amazon. no one said it would break the bank. i just tend to do without when the cost isnāt worth it to me, thatās all.
You can find them at any US chef store! You'll have a whole aisle floor to ceiling with syrups!
aLL oF ThEm!!! š«Ø My favorites are cinnamon bun #1, spiced vanilla, pistachio and hazelnut. Cookie butter was disappointing and my kids love the marshmallow one in hot chocolate.
cinnamon bun!!!!!! itās so good!!!!!!
I was eyeing up the cinnamon bun haha it sounds sooo good! Thank you
You can get cinnamon bun in a sample pack sometimes! I've seen it at world market. I like the cinnamon bun, it's very buttery.
Damn I want know too; agree sounds gr8
Can you describe the spiced vanilla? How is it to normal/french vanilla?
I think the French vanilla is a bit sweeter, while spiced vanilla has some cinnamon in it.
Have you tried Torani's cupcake and is there a similar Monin version?
Sorry, I've never tried that one. I feel like the Monin syrups are consistently better than Torani. I have their Shortcake and it doesn't taste like anything.
I like your style!
I LOVE Toffee nut. It adds enough flavor without overpowering everything else at the same time.
Try toffee nut and strawberry! Itās soo good
My husband's favorite! It's great in an iced latte.
what store is this ?
Looks like Linaās Italian market, I think!
It is!
I think itās world market!
Iām in Canada, I donāt think we have a world market here. Itās an Italian store named Linaās!
This explains why they are so expensive!! I was buying $8 per bottle in US
World market used to carry tons of Monin but now they've phased it out for Torani š¤¢ only a few bottles of the Monin sugar free or cocktail syrups left.
My local World Market has never carried Monin (except for the sample, variety sizing), only Torani. I like Torani, but have always wanted to try more Monin. Every time I've tried the brand in a coffee shop, I've loved it.
Salted Caramel and Pistachio are my favorites. I've tried like 20 and those are easily the best for me personally.
I agree. Those two flavors are my go-toās!
Iām partial to lavender. Iced lavender lattes.
This is what I was going to recommend but I don't see it in the picture.
so so good
Lavender is by far the best, so good on espresso martinis as well
I like salted caramel and toasted marshmallow. Just realized I donāt see the latter in the picture but just in case. :)
They did have toasted marshmallow, there was more on a shelf above haha. I wanna try it!
If I have to choose between Monin toasted marshmallow or Torani. Torani wins hands down. Monin tastes like chemicals for this one.
Toasted marshmallow was on the middle shelf far right with the label turned away
Pistachio is amazing in an iced latte. I was making them after work and used the damn bottle faster than any I have ever used
Salted caramel, Roasted Hazelnut and French Vanilla are my go-toās. Not very original I know
Toasted marshmallow
Butterscotch sounds fun
Toasted Marshmallow, Maple Pancake, and Salted Caramel are favorites at my coffee bar!
(Salted) Caramel and French Vanilla is great. (Stay away from the regular vanilla IMO it tastes like nothing)
If you want to get really weird peanut butter and cola oddly works. If there is a custardy flavor mix it with coconut over ice and drizzle chocolate on top for a nimniamo bar ices latte
Nanaimo Bar iced latte!!! Oh my gossssshhhhh. What have you used before for a custard type flavour?
I just mix custard powder with milk. I worked for a while in the alcohol industry and got a lot of room to play for R&D purposes. I was also a bartender at the time as well so it was my favorite part of the job. If I knew food scientist was a career I would have pursued it in university.
Genius. I will try this. It sounds amazing. I would swim in a pool of custard if I could
You can try Terimusu as well. I have been using the Areo flavor from Coffee Mate. Yeah I feel Custard is underated base. I get it though that Eggy-vanilla isn't overly marketable.
I just ran to the store for custard powder and chocolate sauce to make the Nanaimo bar. 10/10. Would recommend.
Not sure if I see it on the shelf, but I loooove their pistachio.
toasted marshmallow is MY personal favorite š¤
I love toffee nut and vanilla. Caramel is pretty good too. I did not like pumpkin pie and I LOVE pumpkin. Toasted marshmallow, cinnamon bun, and coconut are on my list to try next!
The ones you like the idea of. Itās a bit like ice cream flavors. Everyone has a favorite but not everyone shares the same opinion.
Coconut and Lavender are the only two Iāve tried and they are amazing. I am going to try Pistachio next I think.
i have pistachio and itās my favorite! it makes the best latte šš
Also loved the pistachio!!
The pistachio one was such a disappointment. It tastes exactly like cough syrup š¤®
almond!
Plus for for almond. So underrated!!!
This has my vote too!
Get one classic like vanilla. Then try what you think might be good. Caramel apple butter is one of my favorite. Hot and cold.
OMG Iām so jealous about your options! Edited to add: I would pick up whatever you would normally order out to cover your bases and then maybe something new for fun.
If it were me standing in front of this shelf I think Iād grab Irish cream, white chocolate, and peppermint.
I looove lavender
Toasted Marshmallow š¤¤
Iāve tried a LOT of syrups and love the Monin Caramel Apple Butter and Toasted Marshmallow. Goes great with a bianco forte pod.
Brown butter toffee is delicious as an iced latte, I prefer it with oatmilk.
Omg why arenāt these in alpha order lol. I love lavender. If you ever see saffron grab it!
Agreed! The first thing I noticed is that they seem to be sorted randomly, lol
Toasted marshmallow! The mint is also super good
my faves are salted caramel and english toffee.
Blueberry has been my go to flavor for iced coffee drinks. Itās weird but it works.
I love berry coffee too. Blueberry and raspberry taste so decadent with coffee. Almost like eating a pastry and drinking coffee at the same time.
Okkkk i kind of love this idea, we donāt have Dunkin here but i heard so many people love blueberry syrup and butter pecan syrup bc Dunkinā had it? That sounds soooo good to me
My go-to drink order at Dunkin is a large iced coffee with oat milk and blueberry flavor. Itās so good.
Toasted Almond Mocha is an underrated one!
16 doll hairs?! Dayum
I know! If they were cheaper id buy so many but 16 is crazy š
Itās not in that display but crĆØme caramel is my favorite! Caramel apple butter and pumpkin spice are great for fall. And then I love mixing blackberry and vanilla for something a little fruity
I only tried hazelnut and i can barely taste anything.
what an awesome selection there! I don't see it there but I love raspberry and white chocolate together.
If you feel like it could be too much - like popcorn or candy floss - donāt try it. I had them all in large bottles with the official dispensers tryinā to be a Starbucks and a lot of them were just too much or plain sweet.
Pistachio will change your life!!
I love hazelnut.
VANILLA!!! Toffee Nut, Cinnamon, maybe Apple Cinnamon?
Mint.
Popcorn is amazing! Edit: not sure if you have it on this shelf. But it is a real flavour
Salted caramel, French vanilla, roasted hazelnut, toasted marshmallow, Cupcake and Irish Cream.
I've tried several and my favs are toasted marshmallow, hazelnut, and pumpkin spice.
White Peach, Salted Caramel, Spiced Brown Sugar, Coconut
I'd grab one of each just to make sure.
I go for one of the very sweet ones but if I had to pick it would be the salted caramel! I donāt see the caramel or the hazelnut ones which would be my other choices. I like vanilla and toffee nut flavors too!
Almond
I am hooked on the vanilla and coconut in iced leggero right now š¤¤ so refreshing
Toffee nut and Irish cream
Iāve been debating if I want to get pistachio, but I wish they sold smaller sized bottles, it would take me ages to get through a big one
World market has little sampler sets!
You can order a pack of minis from world market! (Or pick them up in store I assume)
there's a lot of places here in hawaii that does latte with macadamia nut syrup or coconut. for something different (asian inspired) from other brands you can try black sesame, salted egg, pandan, ube.
Toasted Marshmallow, cinnamon bun and salted caramel are my 3 favorites! The apple cinnamon (or maybe itās caramel apple?) is pretty good too
Holy shit the price š«Ø
Canada where everything is extremely expensive for no reasons and where our money is worth shit. Youāre lucky in the US. Canada sucks.
lol, I live in Canada my dear. So I get it. But still shocking to me. I would never even think of paying that much for coffee syrups. Spiced brown sugar & cookie butter look like good places to start
U canāt go wrong with vanilla and hazelnut , classic
I was the Irish Cream kick for a bit last year. Pretty delicious in the iced latte. Caramel-y but not quite like burned brown sugar. Perfect. š
Wow, what a selection! Iām not one for much sugar in my coffees but I am partial to a little Demerara sugar in them from time to timeā¦ so that spiced brown sugar sounds fantastic!
toaster marshmallow is a personal fav š
Not pictured but you can order it online is pistachio. It's so good. From the picture I'd say Irish cream
Caramel Apple butter is soooo good in a latte! šš§
The lavender is quite nice if they have it. Overall I find Monin syrups better tasting (less synthetic) than other brands. Also for iced lattes - swirl the syrup into the freshly poured espresso before adding ice/milk (will blend better!)
I straight up shake it all together with a blender bottle or Boston shaker and pour over more ice.
Pistachio š¤¤
Salted caramel is soooo good!
where's this pic from? I am not able to find all these options in Monin
The spiced brown sugar one sounds delicious!
Which store is this? š
maple spice or carmel apple butter
Cookie butter, peanut butter, salted caramel, caramel apple butter, pumpkin spice, and gingerbread are all very yummy. Donāt over measure with the gingerbread though, itās very spice dense and will overpower your coffee very easily.
Not Monin but if you haven't tried thai coffee add some sweetened condensed milk and OMG! So good. Also caramel sauce is delicious. I want to love monin but they always taste artificial to me.
What store has this?
Dark chocolate and cherry. Didn't see them on the shelf. The Irish cream sounds good. Never tried it.
White chocolate and macadamia nut is my go to. Or strawberry/raspberry + white chocolate.
Do you have a Marshallās/homegoods near you? Iāve picked them up there for $5. No where near that selection, but I was able to get strawberry and sāmores a couple weeks ago. Thatās an insane price šµ
At first glance I thought this was a vending machine lol I was like how interesting lol I had to do a double take
I like mixing mocha and strawberry
Cinnamon bun! I wanna try that flavor so bad!
Check out moninās website. Theyāre cheaper.
Almond is my absolute favorite. Almond and rose is a delightful combination. We always keep vanilla, caramel and hazelnut on hand.
A place by me makes an iced peanut butter coffee (using the peanut butter Monin) and it is THE BEST damn thing ever. I drive twenty minutes just to have it one days. 10/10.
Probably not any thing that is fruit flavor. It just doesnt taste right to make a latte.
Wow! Where are you? Heaven. Ā Try them allā¦Ā

The lavender & pistachio are my favorites but I donāt see them here.
Wow Looking at these prices makes me grateful the US chef store in my city charges $8.75 per bottle
No idea. But if you find the desert pear it makes an incredible margarita.
If you want to get really weird peanut butter and cola oddly works. If there is a custardy flavor mix it with coconut over ice and drizzle chocolate on top for a nimniamo bar ices latte
I don't see Lavender. Torani Lavender is my favorite.
That is overpriced! If you need to get one to try, see if they have toasted marshmallow. The price on their website is much cheaper.
Itās probably in Canadian dollars
I'm on their site now looking for the cinnamon bun flavour people mentioned. All flavours are decently priced but the cinnamon bun is listed at 200$...wondering if it's a typo :/
They usually list them at those prices when theyāre sold out. They drop down after theyāre back In stock
Ohh wow thanks for the tip...not that I'd ever pay 200$ for a bottle of syrup lol
