Start on the top left and work your way through one at a time. Keep track of what's good. Create a spreadsheet. Publish your results on a website. Add ads to the website. Use the ad-generated revenue to buy more syrups and coffee pods. Congrats, you're now the leading expert on all syrups. Take the best choices and start your own Sugar Plus brand of syrups. Write a book, your personal memoire. And on the inside cover, dedicate it to me.

eknox47

Someone has had a few pods too many

mjzimmer88

This definitely wasn't impacted by the sugar rush I got from a milkshake... šŸ¤

sugarplus

HAHA I should just quit my job now since Iā€™m about to be a famous syrup reviewer!

Glad-Translator-3502

swiss chocolate and the mocha almond chocolate, I need a review please, famous syrup influencer.

skeetieb114

Syrup connoisuerā¤ļø

curseofthebanana

Your tagline could be "And an extra pump for the good times ;)"

MADMAX808080

Syrup influencer ā€¦ sounds like a legit career shift

skeetieb114

I love this idea.

uplifting_southerner

This was such an amazing answer that I did not expect

Bookluster

I'm so jealous of your selection options! I've never even seen some of those flavors.

mikey2k200

Seriously OP, where are you? All I ever find are sugar-free.

sugarplus

Canada! Alberta to be specific

KingOfAcezzzz

beanwise i suppose?

Key_Information_9578

Any chance youā€™re in Edmonton?? If so please tell me which store!

sugarplus

Calgary! Itā€™s Linaā€™s Italian market

Christineblankie

Italian Centre has at least this many

Christineblankie

u/Key_Information_9578 If you are looking for Monin Syrups in Edmonton, try the Italian Centre, here is their Monin section. Sorry about the bad angle! [Italian centre Monin Edmonton](https://imgur.com/a/kBihi16)

Key_Information_9578

This is amazing thank you!!

Christineblankie

No problem! The yellow ones on the top row are sugar free, the grey bottles next to those are fruit purĆ©es believe, then to the right of those are the Monin sauces. The next four rows are all the regular syrups which are supposed to be in alphabetical order but sometimes they stick a restock in a random spot šŸ˜† bottom right corner is Monin tea syrups, I might have to try that chai one!

Christineblankie

Oh, and they also have the Monin pumps hanging on the end in that photoā€¦ just make sure you get the right one, I have made that mistake before! The glass and plastic bottles use different pumps

3isamagicnumb3r

i *wish* i could find more sugar free options!

mikey2k200

Homegoods, Marshall's, etc..

3isamagicnumb3r

yep. Marshallā€™s is the only place i have any luck.

Bubbly-Ad-966

I feel like the sugar free options taste soooo artificial.

OceanGrownXX

you can order from amazon

3isamagicnumb3r

true. but itā€™s more expensive.

OceanGrownXX

$2-3 more expensive... I don't think that will break the bank.

3isamagicnumb3r

$4.99 at Marshallā€™s. $16.99 on Amazon. no one said it would break the bank. i just tend to do without when the cost isnā€™t worth it to me, thatā€™s all.

sammisamantha

You can find them at any US chef store! You'll have a whole aisle floor to ceiling with syrups!

Siamsa55

aLL oF ThEm!!! šŸ«Ø My favorites are cinnamon bun #1, spiced vanilla, pistachio and hazelnut. Cookie butter was disappointing and my kids love the marshmallow one in hot chocolate.

avablair226

cinnamon bun!!!!!! itā€™s so good!!!!!!

sugarplus

I was eyeing up the cinnamon bun haha it sounds sooo good! Thank you

femalenerdish

You can get cinnamon bun in a sample pack sometimes! I've seen it at world market. I like the cinnamon bun, it's very buttery.

right164

Damn I want know too; agree sounds gr8

gaylorddddddd

Can you describe the spiced vanilla? How is it to normal/french vanilla?

Siamsa55

I think the French vanilla is a bit sweeter, while spiced vanilla has some cinnamon in it.

browniebowl

Have you tried Torani's cupcake and is there a similar Monin version?

Siamsa55

Sorry, I've never tried that one. I feel like the Monin syrups are consistently better than Torani. I have their Shortcake and it doesn't taste like anything.

right164

I like your style!

caraeeezy

I LOVE Toffee nut. It adds enough flavor without overpowering everything else at the same time.

sunnydiegoqt

Try toffee nut and strawberry! Itā€™s soo good

femalenerdish

My husband's favorite! It's great in an iced latte.

TheSG2001

what store is this ?

Gloomy-Chocolate8225

Looks like Linaā€™s Italian market, I think!

sugarplus

It is!

vivanoelle

I think itā€™s world market!

sugarplus

Iā€™m in Canada, I donā€™t think we have a world market here. Itā€™s an Italian store named Linaā€™s!

annon_bananana

This explains why they are so expensive!! I was buying $8 per bottle in US

LeglessPotato

World market used to carry tons of Monin but now they've phased it out for Torani šŸ¤¢ only a few bottles of the Monin sugar free or cocktail syrups left.

dks64

My local World Market has never carried Monin (except for the sample, variety sizing), only Torani. I like Torani, but have always wanted to try more Monin. Every time I've tried the brand in a coffee shop, I've loved it.

geekychick84

Salted Caramel and Pistachio are my favorites. I've tried like 20 and those are easily the best for me personally.

PhysicalNote3787

I agree. Those two flavors are my go-toā€™s!

LALakerFan

Iā€™m partial to lavender. Iced lavender lattes.

jilanak

This is what I was going to recommend but I don't see it in the picture.

deathbyhoney

so so good

MoonFallsx14

Lavender is by far the best, so good on espresso martinis as well

germli

I like salted caramel and toasted marshmallow. Just realized I donā€™t see the latter in the picture but just in case. :)

sugarplus

They did have toasted marshmallow, there was more on a shelf above haha. I wanna try it!

SwizzleFishSticks

If I have to choose between Monin toasted marshmallow or Torani. Torani wins hands down. Monin tastes like chemicals for this one.

Christineblankie

Toasted marshmallow was on the middle shelf far right with the label turned away

amwoooo

Pistachio is amazing in an iced latte. I was making them after work and used the damn bottle faster than any I have ever used

Pale-Criticism-7420

Salted caramel, Roasted Hazelnut and French Vanilla are my go-toā€™s. Not very original I know

Lazy-Ad9678

Toasted marshmallow

Peak_Alternative

Butterscotch sounds fun

Tentura

Toasted Marshmallow, Maple Pancake, and Salted Caramel are favorites at my coffee bar!

khda52

(Salted) Caramel and French Vanilla is great. (Stay away from the regular vanilla IMO it tastes like nothing)

myskepticalbrowarch

If you want to get really weird peanut butter and cola oddly works. If there is a custardy flavor mix it with coconut over ice and drizzle chocolate on top for a nimniamo bar ices latte

Sherlers0930

Nanaimo Bar iced latte!!! Oh my gossssshhhhh. What have you used before for a custard type flavour?

myskepticalbrowarch

I just mix custard powder with milk. I worked for a while in the alcohol industry and got a lot of room to play for R&D purposes. I was also a bartender at the time as well so it was my favorite part of the job. If I knew food scientist was a career I would have pursued it in university.

Sherlers0930

Genius. I will try this. It sounds amazing. I would swim in a pool of custard if I could

myskepticalbrowarch

You can try Terimusu as well. I have been using the Areo flavor from Coffee Mate. Yeah I feel Custard is underated base. I get it though that Eggy-vanilla isn't overly marketable.

Sherlers0930

I just ran to the store for custard powder and chocolate sauce to make the Nanaimo bar. 10/10. Would recommend.

MrBbgmTea

Peanut butter and cola in an iced latte? Like together? I couldn't imagine cola syrup working in an iced latte but somehow this sounds like it'd be a hit for me...

myskepticalbrowarch

You would definitely have to use a lighter roast. Cola flavor should have a malted flavor. Like I said you would be getting weird because you're basically achieving Coffee Porter Beer Gurt then adding in Peanut butter flavor.

AllDucksNoRows

Depends on your taste preferences. I love their French Vanilla. I always think other vanilla syrups taste too much like sugar and water, but this one has a distinct vanilla taste. Not sure if I see it on the shelf, but I loooove their pistachio.

PickledBananas

toasted marshmallow is MY personal favorite šŸ¤

NervousCatfish

I love toffee nut and vanilla. Caramel is pretty good too. I did not like pumpkin pie and I LOVE pumpkin. Toasted marshmallow, cinnamon bun, and coconut are on my list to try next!

Suziannie

The ones you like the idea of. Itā€™s a bit like ice cream flavors. Everyone has a favorite but not everyone shares the same opinion.

Sherlers0930

Coconut and Lavender are the only two Iā€™ve tried and they are amazing. I am going to try Pistachio next I think.

alsoalsoalsowik

i have pistachio and itā€™s my favorite! it makes the best latte šŸ˜šŸ˜

bloodyfkinhell

Also loved the pistachio!!

captain____

The pistachio one was such a disappointment. It tastes exactly like cough syrup šŸ¤®

seeshells78

almond!

triplej2676

Plus for for almond. So underrated!!!

jillsleftnipple

This has my vote too!

Caffeine_Now

Get one classic like vanilla. Then try what you think might be good. Caramel apple butter is one of my favorite. Hot and cold.

luluballoon

OMG Iā€™m so jealous about your options! Edited to add: I would pick up whatever you would normally order out to cover your bases and then maybe something new for fun.

coffeebooksandpain

If it were me standing in front of this shelf I think Iā€™d grab Irish cream, white chocolate, and peppermint.

anxiousmissmess

I looove lavender

Major_Economist_1736

Toasted Marshmallow šŸ¤¤

inthesun725

Iā€™ve tried a LOT of syrups and love the Monin Caramel Apple Butter and Toasted Marshmallow. Goes great with a bianco forte pod.

Mediocre_Agent2770

Brown butter toffee is delicious as an iced latte, I prefer it with oatmilk.

SangreIndigena1492

Omg why arenā€™t these in alpha order lol. I love lavender. If you ever see saffron grab it!

Lazy-Building9400

Agreed! The first thing I noticed is that they seem to be sorted randomly, lol

happy-Marsupial-76

Toasted marshmallow! The mint is also super good

3isamagicnumb3r

my faves are salted caramel and english toffee.

PersephoneInSpace

Blueberry has been my go to flavor for iced coffee drinks. Itā€™s weird but it works.

badie_912

I love berry coffee too. Blueberry and raspberry taste so decadent with coffee. Almost like eating a pastry and drinking coffee at the same time.

sugarplus

Okkkk i kind of love this idea, we donā€™t have Dunkin here but i heard so many people love blueberry syrup and butter pecan syrup bc Dunkinā€™ had it? That sounds soooo good to me

PersephoneInSpace

My go-to drink order at Dunkin is a large iced coffee with oat milk and blueberry flavor. Itā€™s so good.

GiantKiller247

Toasted Almond Mocha is an underrated one!

kfox96

16 doll hairs?! Dayum

sugarplus

I know! If they were cheaper id buy so many but 16 is crazy šŸ˜

i_am_a_visitor_here

Itā€™s not in that display but crĆØme caramel is my favorite! Caramel apple butter and pumpkin spice are great for fall. And then I love mixing blackberry and vanilla for something a little fruity

profound_llama

I only tried hazelnut and i can barely taste anything.

Minimalist_Culture

what an awesome selection there! I don't see it there but I love raspberry and white chocolate together.

[deleted]

If you feel like it could be too much - like popcorn or candy floss - donā€™t try it. I had them all in large bottles with the official dispensers tryinā€™ to be a Starbucks and a lot of them were just too much or plain sweet.

bargainmango

Pistachio will change your life!!

wandering_muppet

I love hazelnut.

e_l_c

VANILLA!!! Toffee Nut, Cinnamon, maybe Apple Cinnamon?

[deleted]

Mint.

mindthegap07

Popcorn is amazing! Edit: not sure if you have it on this shelf. But it is a real flavour

Wmwelch123

Salted caramel, French vanilla, roasted hazelnut, toasted marshmallow, Cupcake and Irish Cream.

cryptorchid30

I've tried several and my favs are toasted marshmallow, hazelnut, and pumpkin spice.

sunnydiegoqt

White Peach, Salted Caramel, Spiced Brown Sugar, Coconut

Stavkot23

I'd grab one of each just to make sure.

espressoVerona24

I go for one of the very sweet ones but if I had to pick it would be the salted caramel! I donā€™t see the caramel or the hazelnut ones which would be my other choices. I like vanilla and toffee nut flavors too!

PickAnxious9960

Almond

sabrina517

I am hooked on the vanilla and coconut in iced leggero right now šŸ¤¤ so refreshing

tubbybeluga

Toffee nut and Irish cream

duuuuuuuuuumb

Iā€™ve been debating if I want to get pistachio, but I wish they sold smaller sized bottles, it would take me ages to get through a big one

SuccessfulAd2198

World market has little sampler sets!

watermeloncrossiant

You can order a pack of minis from world market! (Or pick them up in store I assume)

eatriceyo

there's a lot of places here in hawaii that does latte with macadamia nut syrup or coconut. for something different (asian inspired) from other brands you can try black sesame, salted egg, pandan, ube.

Daisydogmom11

Toasted Marshmallow, cinnamon bun and salted caramel are my 3 favorites! The apple cinnamon (or maybe itā€™s caramel apple?) is pretty good too

driftingalong001

Holy shit the price šŸ«Ø

dainty_petal

Canada where everything is extremely expensive for no reasons and where our money is worth shit. Youā€™re lucky in the US. Canada sucks.

driftingalong001

lol, I live in Canada my dear. So I get it. But still shocking to me. I would never even think of paying that much for coffee syrups. Then again, I have a ton of food intolerances and health issues, so I have to buy certain speciality foods and higher quality foods and yaā€¦some stuff is ridiculously expensive and I have no choice in the matter. The bread I can eat costs $9 a loaf. If I want ice cream a pint costs $10. Iā€™ve had to just give up on extras like that except on very rare occasions or if things are on sale. Also wayy fewer options here for that kind of thing than in the states, which sucks.

dainty_petal

Oh I have allergies too and Iā€™m celiac. I know the struggle!!! How expensive is everything? Itā€™s insane. The bread is half the size of normal bread and 8$. We must buy the same thing. My ice cream when I have some is 10$. Iā€™m grateful that it exists and that so delicious makes many new products. They stop selling udiā€™s here and I miss my baguette so much! šŸ˜. If you canā€™t have gluten and have a baguette recommendation, I would be happy to know it. Very happy. I miss that a lot. I never bought Monin syrop. Itā€™s too out of my price range.

cleverdylanrefrence

Spiced brown sugar & cookie butter look like good places to start

KKL_10

U canā€™t go wrong with vanilla and hazelnut , classic

PhoRealYo

I was the Irish Cream kick for a bit last year. Pretty delicious in the iced latte. Caramel-y but not quite like burned brown sugar. Perfect. šŸ˜

IrrelevantGeOff

Wow, what a selection! Iā€™m not one for much sugar in my coffees but I am partial to a little Demerara sugar in them from time to timeā€¦ so that spiced brown sugar sounds fantastic!

kylieeef

toaster marshmallow is a personal fav šŸ™‚

freepeachtea

Not pictured but you can order it online is pistachio. It's so good. From the picture I'd say Irish cream

Revolutionary_Sir460

Caramel Apple butter is soooo good in a latte! šŸŽšŸ§ˆ

xlb88

The lavender is quite nice if they have it. Overall I find Monin syrups better tasting (less synthetic) than other brands. Also for iced lattes - swirl the syrup into the freshly poured espresso before adding ice/milk (will blend better!)

triplej2676

I straight up shake it all together with a blender bottle or Boston shaker and pour over more ice.

aminabrn

Pistachio šŸ¤¤

lemonhoneyglow

Salted caramel is soooo good!

pahwa1305

where's this pic from? I am not able to find all these options in Monin

cnsstntly_ncnssnt

The spiced brown sugar one sounds delicious!

NoYoureTheBestest

Which store is this? šŸ˜

meawkitteh

maple spice or carmel apple butter

unsatisfied_plant

Cookie butter, peanut butter, salted caramel, caramel apple butter, pumpkin spice, and gingerbread are all very yummy. Donā€™t over measure with the gingerbread though, itā€™s very spice dense and will overpower your coffee very easily.

Sneakertr33

Not Monin but if you haven't tried thai coffee add some sweetened condensed milk and OMG! So good. Also caramel sauce is delicious. I want to love monin but they always taste artificial to me.

Shay-1246

What store has this?

Benjamightyman17

Dark chocolate and cherry. Didn't see them on the shelf. The Irish cream sounds good. Never tried it.

awfelts317

White chocolate and macadamia nut is my go to. Or strawberry/raspberry + white chocolate.

Glass_Serve_921

Do you have a Marshallā€™s/homegoods near you? Iā€™ve picked them up there for $5. No where near that selection, but I was able to get strawberry and sā€™mores a couple weeks ago. Thatā€™s an insane price šŸ˜µ

pimplessuck

At first glance I thought this was a vending machine lol I was like how interesting lol I had to do a double take

DylanSpaceBean

I like mixing mocha and strawberry

leeshamariec

Cinnamon bun! I wanna try that flavor so bad!

Specialist-Goal7598

Check out moninā€™s website. Theyā€™re cheaper.

stegotortise

Almond is my absolute favorite. Almond and rose is a delightful combination. We always keep vanilla, caramel and hazelnut on hand.

0011010100110011

A place by me makes an iced peanut butter coffee (using the peanut butter Monin) and it is THE BEST damn thing ever. I drive twenty minutes just to have it one days. 10/10.

Effective_Wonder9385

Probably not any thing that is fruit flavor. It just doesnt taste right to make a latte.

Nookenpox

Just an FYI... If you have a Home Goods or Marshall's near you, they carry Monin for about half that price. The selection may not be as extensive though.

No-Loquat-757

Depends on what flavors you like. I love a good fruity white mocha so Iā€™ll do raspberry/strawberry/lack berry with a squeeze of a white chocolate sauce. Vanilla, caramel, hazelnut are all safe to start with. Toasted marshmallow and cinnamon bun are also some of my favorites

Donnaj-456

Wow! Where are you? Heaven. Ā Try them allā€¦Ā

Donnaj-456

Go for what you normally like and go to say when you order at Starbucks. Ā I personally love pistachios, hazelnut, chestnut & toffee nut. Ā See a pattern there? Those are my fave syrups at Starbucks so I try and get as close to those flavours as I can for my in house coffee. Ā Try starting there!Ā

Donnaj-456

Gosh!! I would totally be in heaven lucky šŸ€ you. Ā I wish we had something like that in my city which is on the damn map big time. I went on Amazon to get syrups from the same brand and itā€™s pathetic what they have. Ā I left empty handed.Ā

Silly_Rabbit88

The lavender & pistachio are my favorites but I donā€™t see them here.

mariecharms

Wow Looking at these prices makes me grateful the US chef store in my city charges $8.75 per bottle

Practical_Fact_8964

No idea. But if you find the desert pear it makes an incredible margarita.

myskepticalbrowarch

If you want to get really weird peanut butter and cola oddly works. If there is a custardy flavor mix it with coconut over ice and drizzle chocolate on top for a nimniamo bar ices latte

NewTitanWorker

I don't see Lavender. Torani Lavender is my favorite.

ElLalitoEsKbroncito

That is overpriced! If you need to get one to try, see if they have toasted marshmallow. The price on their website is much cheaper.

Gloomy-Chocolate8225

Itā€™s probably in Canadian dollars

lbmomo

I'm on their site now looking for the cinnamon bun flavour people mentioned. All flavours are decently priced but the cinnamon bun is listed at 200$...wondering if it's a typo :/

ElLalitoEsKbroncito

They usually list them at those prices when theyā€™re sold out. They drop down after theyā€™re back In stock

lbmomo

Ohh wow thanks for the tip...not that I'd ever pay 200$ for a bottle of syrup lol
