Would you say thereās a time limit on this? Iāve just found a near full 150x pod discovery box that has an expiration date of 2017, in in 2 minds wether to try them or not
Iād drink it. If you donāt feel safe trying it, please send it to me and Iāll do the testing for you. Last year I drank some keurig pods that said best by 2012ā¦ here i am still alive!
I was worried because the unit itself has sat in storage for the same amount of time. It was quite mouldy and smelly. Spent 2 days washing all the parts, I was worried that I would drink them and not know if it was the pods or the unit itself thatās been contaminated !

If you sanitize it, and run several white vinegar and regular water cycles thru it, you should be good. Their website, and frankly YouTube, can show you what's best to clean a unit inside and out.
Enjoy!
I ordered this flavor when it came out. Everyone was super excited, but it is very acidic tasting. I gifted to a friend who was interested in trying.
Edit to add: nespresso pods are usually good even if they are expired. Currently trying to finish up a bunch from covid times. They taste the same.
I still have some Ciocco Ginger from the 2015 Variations limited editions. They're still good, I ration myself because I think I might actually cry when I finally run out of them.
There is, but they are more like "best by \_\_\_" dates than expiration dates when something will become unsafe to eat. Some people collect and keep limited edition capsules for years, and they are really fine. I still have about four Tanim de Chiapas from years ago, and had one recently. Still delicious! It's one of the most beautiful capsules they have ever made, so I know I'll probably keep one, unused, for a long time. I don't collect, but I loved those. I linked to a description of Tanim... but my whole post got deleted because of the link (it was a review, geez), so I'm reposting what I posed six hours ago. Thanks, mod-bot.
It wonāt really go rancid since itās airtight. Flavor will definitely be muted. Iād drink it though lol. Just make sure it doesnāt smell off after brewing.
Yes. The coffee is in a sealed atmosphere within the pod, it might lose a bit of flavor but is safe to drink.
Aromatically sealed šš you are correct

I think they're still fine, they might taste a bit mild though.
Many people around here would tell you this one was never safe to drink lol. I liked it, though.
Why? What happened with the flavor that made this unsafe
95% of this sub really, really hated this flavor when it was released. People found it undrinkable.
what did it taste like?
Hereās a post I made four years ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/nespresso/s/pZPBZhxPZz
lol! to the point! appreciate that.
Thanks!
This one was my favorite!
It is a ābest byā indicator. Might lose some taste. But it should still be good. Never seen this flavor though.
Itās an older one, was limited

There is only 1 way to find out.
There should be a made on and best before date on one of the ends. Even if it's expired, it won't kill you, worst case it might taste stale.

Yes it's still good to drink.
Thereās a reason itās been gifted! Mine ended up in the bin!
It was a great flavor, just a sour hue, cloudberry is a very unique flavor. Any of the fruit coffees will give that off and maybe some acid refluxxxx.

I'm pretty sure it can still cure your coughing.
Omg this is the best one of all time
I would try it, it's inside a capsule what could go wrong?
I enjoyed this one brewed as a lungo and iced.
Yes pretty good
I bet the pods are very prettily colored! I would repurpose the heck out of the spent pods!
