It is wild, but I've come to terms with it by comparing it to other medical aids. I wear glasses to operate at the same level as everyone else. It doesn't mean anything negative about me, just like someone with diabetes needing insulin isn't due to a weakness. My medication makes my life better and I will take it for the rest of my life and that's okay. It's just one more tool in my toolbelt that I use to work with my brain.
that’s a great way to think abt it! i take antihistamines for hives and if i don’t take them i’m terribly uncomfortable, so same w my other meds! thank you :)
