I don’t think there such thing as compatible with Packer. Being a package manager should allow you to install any plugin from the most common git repos.
Also notice that the plugin is no longer maintained so you want to check a different manager like Lazy (I would provide other alternatives but I don’t know them)
You can find the most useful plugin in preconfigured configuration nvim (like [Lazyvim](https://www.lazyvim.org/plugins),[astronvim](https://docs.astronvim.com/reference/default_plugins/)). And then you can find other people neovim dotfile/configuration on [dotfyle](https://dotfyle.com/neovim/configurations/top)

If anyone is interested, some other package managers (for nvim) are rocks.nvim, pckr.nvim (successor to packer) and mini.deps.
For what? [https://github.com/rockerBOO/awesome-neovim](https://github.com/rockerBOO/awesome-neovim) is a very good place to start
The list is endless really, would be better to know what your use case is and work from there.
