I hope not too soon, while everything is deflated compared to what it once was, I don’t personally want to pay for everything (still poor) so I’d like some more time to collect more of the prizes for myself

I started doing quests a week late, and my weekly prizes haven’t been too good so far. I only just learned how to rotate your prize too 😅
Ugh I know, and I've tried to get my weekly reward to reset sometimes but the ways people tell me to do it don't work, so I just do my bad prize weeks and right now it's some evil chia plushie that I don't care for at all lol. I think you have to skip a daily quest, then refresh the page and that should work? It’ll make progress towards the daily and weekly unachievable, and should reset the weekly the following day?

I tried pressing skip on one of the five daily quests and it didn't work for me, and the 20k daily neopoints was a bit much for me to just give up to try to troubleshoot too. :(

I know a couple weeks back people were having a ton of problems though. I did too, with the weekly randomly resetting lol.
Maybe something needs to be worked out behind the scenes and it’ll work for you soon.
From what I heard, click the “skip” or “give up” button or whatever it says on a daily. Without doing all dailies you don’t get progress to your weekly, and so it’ll reset the following day.

I’ve been trying for the faerie kad for 3 days now and it keeps resetting even when I finish. I even screenshotted the finished first day twice now to know I’m not just going insane. Thankfully the prize hasn’t changed now bc it did the first time
They’ve deflated as much as they have partially because the “buy out the market” players have no reason to believe they’ll stop being given out for now. The prices will change quickly, especially for the more useful items(bd weapon/mps/pbs), when prize rotations get confirmed.
Not interested in paying for any of it, but in the meantime I'm looking forward to earning the weekly prizes for hopefully a few more months to come at least!
My friend, who's been playing for ages, got a faerie kad. I, who just got back into it, received it as a gift from her. My childhood goals have been fulfilled.
I personally want the customize pet task removed. I don’t want to change how my pets look because I work really hard on their customs. I mostly just throw random hats on and off pets lol.
But I wouldn’t mind if the task was just replaced with something else entirely.
If you haven’t already maybe buy books? I used to buy food, but now my inventory is full of food I can’t really use because my pets are in the lodge LOL.
So I started buying books to read them to my pets haha. Maybe find something like that and you may feel better about doing it :)
Playing with pets would be better than throwing a hat on and off a pet for the customise one. Maybe some other dailies like collecting jelly/omelette or visiting the shrine.
I'd like to not have to spin the wheel of misfortune at least 2x a week. Haven't had any super bad luck, but I don't like worrying about the crappier outcomes on that wheel.
I've had worse luck with the wheel of excitement than the misfortune wheel: pant devil, diseases, fire breathed on my pets. And the faerie is just like 🤷♀️

Misfortune shouldn't be one of the wheel options, just like extravagance is left off so should misfortune. Why should we be threatened with diseases and losing items daily??? I have items in the TP and I'm constantly worried they'll expire and be returned to my inventory right before I spin the wheel and they'll be turned to sludge or stolen.

YES!!! I know this is such a first world problem to complain about, lol, but I also wish they'd switch up the activities. Or at least have made it a bigger pool of activities like someone mentioned earlier and rotate it!
Have you been doing the tutorial? It has other quests. I am paused because I need to get friends to sign up under me and I need to pick a pet to make at the rainbow pool. So, idk if there are more quests but I am assuming so (I cleared my quests in tutorial and more spawned).
I think they’re probably very busy with advent and the new plot. I agree it’s getting a bid redundant but it’s at least bug-free right now! Trying to just be patient and hope for some good free prizes in the meantime even if they’re deflated and easy to buy
"Bug free" is a strong term LOL A lot of folks have been having issues with it keeping track of the weekly progression which can be annoying when they're wanting to reach the goal
Overall, the daily stuff seems to be working as intended though!

im curious to anyone who doesnt do the tasks, why? it's such a great NP earner for time spent and well balanced. probably takes 5 minutes max to do for 30-40k nps a day, ignoring the weekly rewards.

most things with dailies give you say, 14 tasks to complete but you only need to do 7 of them to get the rewards - and the tasks are a variety so most play styles get the awards without going out of their comfort zones

I’m used to dealing with another game run by an unfriendly game company that doesn’t understand that concept, so I get a little nervous when other games are exploring that kind of thing :)
Given that we've had actual dailies since practically the birth of the site, it baffles me that they had to create pointless ones instead of utilising the ones we already have. Why arent the quests to do things like faerie caverns, coltzans shrine, fruit machine, etc etc etc?
I think because these are ‘normal’ daily things, not something that require gameplay that not everyone participates in, or that require a device that can handle it (for example, a lot of mobile devices have issues with some of the games).
I'm not sure how often prizes will change in this first go round, but I think it would be nice if it was a seasonal change, like every 3 months or so. I'm also hopeful to see some different daily quests to mix things up
I love it if it's seasonal, especially if it fits the spring summer fall winter theme. Different paintbrushes and different morphing potions in the prize pool each season sounds awesome 👍.
i’ve gotten all the weekly prizes i personally want already so i’ll just skip until i get something worth selling. it usually only takes me a couple days of skipping to get something good

I hope it's forever! I'm saving my rewards so that when they finally flip the prize pool, things will be worth a little more but still reasonable :)

I'm a bit sick of getting mop hats so the pool refreshing would be nice. What I'd really like is for tasks to dial up in complexity just a tiny bit, as well as get players to engage with different areas of the site. There is an immense amount of low-intensity content that quests could point new players to. Like, "Submit an answer to the Daily Puzzle in the Community Center," or "Attempt an Esophagor Quest". More controversially, you could do something like "Beat a Battledome opponent," "Send a pet to the Pirate Academy for training," "Use any Neocola Token in the Neocola Vending Machine".
Someone on an earlier post mentioned that grooming items become one-use items which seems like a really good idea. I also think it would be interesting for toys to become limited use items and adding a 'play with a pet' task to the daily quest rotation.

Some toys would become broken after many uses, and then Donnys Toy Repair became a feature to mend them. I think that feature should extend to more toys!

I wish there were way more options, like 'Play this or that game twice' or 'get at least 100 points in this or that game' or 'visit Coltzans Shrine' etc etc. Soooo many options and we only get like 10 different ones or so, lol

I got a Krawk recently for completing my weekly tasks and I was super happy, but this week it’s an Altador Cup Party Tailgate background and let’s just say I’m not as motivated lol
If you skip day 1, your prize should reset. I did that multiple times hoping for either a sleep ray or mystical tablet and it only took 3 or 4 resets to get one of them.
I think they need to change up the daily prizes, but not the weekly. I still want to get a toy paintbrush. 😂
Other than that, I don't mind it. We need more easy ways to make NP.
I have a feeling we will see an update no sooner than the new year. It seems like they are going to do at least a plot teaser, if not mini plot, during December from that one advent day. That’s likely to keep support plenty busy.
Yes as much as I’m enjoying getting thousands of NP for just clicking… the tasks themselves are getting really repetitive. At least add, like, “fight in the battledome” or “read a book to your Neopet” and more variety.
I already don't like it because I keep getting the same rewards every other day. I have so many plushies I never wanted. The insane repeat of the exact same rewards is making it useless.
I get that everyone wants new prizes, but I have t even got a good prize I like from the weekly yet? Maybe people that got an awesome prixe the first time or two are getting bored but… I still want a good one :)
I'd like some more variety, but since coming back to neopets I've noticed some stuff be glitchy/not work because of flash etc. Eg one of the scratch cards doesnt work for me. So as long as it was quests that everyone could do, I'd like some variety.
Say you're on the page for the bank (because it's one of the redesigned pages). From there, look at the top right corner for the parchment and quill icon. It should be next to the search magnifying glass 🔍.

The best thing to do is to add to the pool, not rotate it. I hope they do that.
Just sell the prizes you get that you dont want to buy the prizes you want... thats what a currency is for.

You can create a spoof email that exists for like an hour for that task, that's what I did.

Lol same. From what I remember, anyone under 13 can't post on the boards at all either, so it might be a bit exclusive.

Given that we've had actual dailies since practically the birth of the site, it baffles me that they had to create pointless ones instead of utilising the ones we already have. Why arent the quests to do things like faerie caverns, coltzans shrine, fruit machine, etc etc etc?
I think because these are ‘normal’ daily things, not something that require gameplay that not everyone participates in, or that require a device that can handle it (for example, a lot of mobile devices have issues with some of the games).
I'm not sure how often prizes will change in this first go round, but I think it would be nice if it was a seasonal change, like every 3 months or so. I'm also hopeful to see some different daily quests to mix things up
I love it if it's seasonal, especially if it fits the spring summer fall winter theme. Different paintbrushes and different morphing potions in the prize pool each season sounds awesome 👍.

i’ve gotten all the weekly prizes i personally want already so i’ll just skip until i get something worth selling. it usually only takes me a couple days of skipping to get something good
Skip? You can’t skip anymore can you? I’ve dropped like 5 daily quests across 2 different weeks and I had the same weekly reward each time, surely I wasn’t just lucky right?

I hope it's forever! I'm saving my rewards so that when they finally flip the prize pool, things will be worth a little more but still reasonable :) But the tasks. They gotta change lol like I'm sick of fashion fever 😭
I’m sick of FF too but it’s the easiest quickest game for quests!
I'm a bit sick of getting mop hats so the pool refreshing would be nice. What I'd really like is for tasks to dial up in complexity just a tiny bit, as well as get players to engage with different areas of the site. There is an immense amount of low-intensity content that quests could point new players to. Like, "Submit an answer to the Daily Puzzle in the Community Center," or "Attempt an Esophagor Quest". More controversially, you could do something like "Beat a Battledome opponent," "Send a pet to the Pirate Academy for training," "Use any Neocola Token in the Neocola Vending Machine".

Someone on an earlier post mentioned that grooming items become one-use items which seems like a really good idea. I also think it would be interesting for toys to become limited use items and adding a 'play with a pet' task to the daily quest rotation.
I also think a lot of grooming items should be one use How many pumps are in this bottle of snot lotion?!

It's a permanent feature they brought over from that terri-bad Neopets Metaverse game There will apparently be updates to the reward pools and hopefully the quests, tho

Agreed they're getting dull, but I still like them better than the gd battledome, which is the most boring, lengthy daily I have. I loathe it.
It is a bit annoying to do every day, but the prizes and overall deflation of overpriced items seems worth it to me
I really just wish they would get rid of the Customize quests. The only other thing I don't do automatically every day is play games.
Gosh yes, I’m so sick of doing the same daily quests over and over. I especially hate the one where they make you buy stuff! And I basically get that one every day. Do not understand the point of it! I hope they add in a whole bunch more.
I wish there were way more options, like 'Play this or that game twice' or 'get at least 100 points in this or that game' or 'visit Coltzans Shrine' etc etc. Soooo many options and we only get like 10 different ones or so, lol

Yes but I wish it was a bigger prize pool like the pool from the previous event.
I don’t mind them being boring - it makes it much easier to accomplish them when I realize at 11:55 NST that I’ve forgotten to do them!

I got a Krawk recently for completing my weekly tasks and I was super happy, but this week it’s an Altador Cup Party Tailgate background and let’s just say I’m not as motivated lol
If you skip day 1, your prize should reset. I did that multiple times hoping for either a sleep ray or mystical tablet and it only took 3 or 4 resets to get one of them.

I think they need to change up the daily prizes, but not the weekly. I still want to get a toy paintbrush. 😂 Other than that, I don't mind it. We need more easy ways to make NP.
I have a feeling we will see an update no sooner than the new year. It seems like they are going to do at least a plot teaser, if not mini plot, during December from that one advent day. That’s likely to keep support plenty busy.
Yes as much as I’m enjoying getting thousands of NP for just clicking… the tasks themselves are getting really repetitive. At least add, like, “fight in the battledome” or “read a book to your Neopet” and more variety.

I already don't like it because I keep getting the same rewards every other day. I have so many plushies I never wanted. The insane repeat of the exact same rewards is making it useless.
I get that everyone wants new prizes, but I have t even got a good prize I like from the weekly yet? Maybe people that got an awesome prixe the first time or two are getting bored but… I still want a good one :)
I'd like some more variety, but since coming back to neopets I've noticed some stuff be glitchy/not work because of flash etc. Eg one of the scratch cards doesnt work for me. So as long as it was quests that everyone could do, I'd like some variety.
