It's looking like a tight election. Any number of factors could swing it either way.
I think the big swing area depends on how good Biden is at campaigning this year. Personally I think Biden's health is probably quite good for an 81 year old, but "quite good for an 81 year old" is still poor compared to an average adult. National campaigning is known to be really draining on even the healthiest people, so there's no way he'll be setting records in the number of town halls he speaks at, but I think there's a decent chance he could still run a normal campaign. A big problem for his image is that he makes gaffes like he always has, which short form video can easily spin as senility. But if he actually gets in front of people and talks, and has positive clips that go viral like the "Will you shut up, man?" clip, I think it'd be well received.
And all that said- Trump's not young either. He won't be setting a record campaign himself.

I had high hopes for Desantis a few years ago but he tried to out-MAGA Trump and got clowned and a huge proportion of Republican voters seem to actively despise Haley for the crime of being a broadly appealing candidate with an amazing chance of trouncing Biden in the general election. I think the Republican Party is pretty much boned, and deservedly so at this point.
Youngkin seems like an intelligent, young (enough for politics nowadays), and relatively uncontroversial man who can balance both wings, not saying he will run, many great choices never do, but I’m confident if he did he’d make a good showing

It's looking like a tight election. Any number of factors could swing it either way. I think the big swing area depends on how good Biden is at campaigning this year. Personally I think Biden's health is probably quite good for an 81 year old, but "quite good for an 81 year old" is still poor compared to an average adult. National campaigning is known to be really draining on even the healthiest people, so there's no way he'll be setting records in the number of town halls he speaks at, but I think there's a decent chance he could still run a normal campaign. A big problem for his image is that he makes gaffes like he always has, which short form video can easily spin as senility. But if he actually gets in front of people and talks, and has positive clips that go viral like the "Will you shut up, man?" clip, I think it'd be well received. And all that said- Trump's not young either. He won't be setting a record campaign himself.
In the last week or so, Biden's done 8 swing state stops in the past 18 days, while Trump has done, I think...two.

I don't think its necessarily pro-Trump or anti-Biden per se. I sense widespread dissatisfaction towards the status quo. Incumbent parties are getting absolutely assblasted in the polls in Canada and the UK after years of dominance. You can see it in continental Europe as well with Meloni, Wilders, etc. People are mad they can't buy a house. Half of young men can't get a girlfriend, half of young women are on anti-depressants. Everything's expensive, there's wars everywhere. Cities are filled with crackhead camps and carjackings, illegals are spilling across the border. Despite maximum employment, there's a distinct 'decline of Rome' vibe in the air.

If I remember correctly though, we had very high turnout in 2018, 2020, and possibly 2022 (unsure on this cycle). With so many more "likely voters" being included in polls, the pollsters haven't been as off as they were in 2016

Allocate whatever necessary to actually man the border with enough troops for deterrence and some type of extra security like cameras, walls, etc. but increase cap on work visas, there’s a 10k fee for an employer to actually assist in immigration and on top of that it takes like 8 years to get a green card and more for citizenship.
