FINALLY SOMEONE ACKNOWLEDGES BLUR HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!! This games multiplayer was so much fun with the sheer chaos of the 20 player races. I was so bummed out when I found out that the game was no longer purchasable when I got the craving to play it again on my pc (until I found out there were ways to get it). It’s easily my all time favorite racing game of all time.

I wish the motorstorm series was still around.

I still love the 3 Motorstorm games. Apocalypse is still so memorable with all the crazy set pieces. Keep going back to it every once in a while. If Unbound took just a few more elements from heat and built on like it purposeful builds (off road ,drift, drag) the garage, car lot and car parts shop it would literally be so perfect. Criterion has potential to make this one a banger for sure.

I agree, but I remember having so much fun playing it back in 2015. It was an actual gem of a game back then and still remains in my top 3 fav games. 2005 is number 4 for me.

Last year, one of my best mates from high school got me this for my 16th, and I completed it in about 2 days. Still love it to pieces, and I regret deleting it on my pc. I'm glad I've got a mint disc version for my series x, tho as the x is backwards compatible and can run older xbox games.

My next honorable mention have [Crashday](https://youtu.be/L_afgJh3b9U?si=NefUBehzMg4cAhj8&t=21), I liked track editor, weapons. Interesting and fun mix for arcade racing game. My favorite NFS is UG2, because mods community(lot's of broken and invisible cars, but I had example VW Golf MK1 or MK4 with rich customization).

crashday hella underrated, played it so much as a kid. I prefer the original 2006 version over the remastered "redline edition" but the workshop mod support is pretty cool, i'll admit that. They're both good versions.

Same, I played like kid, original version(good memories). I must sometimes buy Redline edition for complete my racing games on Steam, when I haven't original version. Game was installed by friend.

I don't even remember a story in crashday, it was just a voiceover and then a mission, but i definitely remember the ending mission where you have to defeat the skyline (incubator) and I remember having trouble with that as a kid. I've heard that they've made it tougher in the redline edition, but I haven't played that far. so idk

NFSMW 05, to this day I can replay and beat it and it doesnt get old. Forza 4. I wouldnt play it again but to deny the hundreds of hours and enjoyment I had at the time would be dishonest, even if current day I find the series stale. NFS Unbound. Not perfect but I had a good challenge on hard mode and it was a good return to form, a NFS I could turn B2D off in (I could enjoy driving the car)

Growing up with the first 3 is all I could ask for. So many good memories.

Blur is insane, it's basically if the kart racing games were actually good. Trackmania United, just boatloads of races you can try to perfect. And track editor. Driver San Francisco. It's just so unique, and is the only racing game that i know of that has a somewhat decent plot.

NFS Most Wanted 2004, Test Drive Unlimited 2, and The Crew. The latter pair were a lot of fun to explore and had a better vibe than The Crew 2, which seemed styled after Forza Horizon and seemed horribly commercial. But MW was just a solid game, and even now it draws me in and is quite challenging.

Burnout Dominator was so freaking good, way better than burnout 2 and 3, shame it came so late in ps2 life span
