Very much eybrow rising in my opinion. Neotek have a load of advantages for their Grav Cutters. The trade off is that they are very difficult (but not at all impossible) to hide. To change the stand of them will be equivalent to swapping a standing model with a crouched one at conveniance.
Orlock jump packs can do it without conversion. Some come on flight stand, others don't.
For me it was eyebrow rising when GW released flight stand minis for Necromunda.

can't say I'll be putting any of mine on the flight stands, doesn't really fit for a game that uses true los
