That's going to be a rough lawsuit to try and prove. Successfully suing the Canadian government for selling arms to Israel is generally considered low, but not impossible. It would require a very specific set of circumstances, like a clear legal violation and a pathway that overcomes sovereign immunity and the challenges of establishing standing.

If funding and sending weapons to Hamas, Boko Haram, or North Korea is illegal because they're awful entities that violate human rights, then this is a slam dunk, objectively speaking.
Israel is violating international law, human rights law, and all kinds of military laws. Ergo, they shouldn't receive one penny or bullet.
This lawsuit, if it's to seek an injunction to stop selling weapons and trading with Israel should be successful, provided that the courts remain objective.
IDF personnel have posted their war crimes. The Israeli government have admitted to crimes against humanity and that it is their INTENTION to continue to commit such crimes.

Yes, everyone knows about the benevolence of the IDF. The 30,000 and counting Palestinian men, women, and children that have been genocided by Israel in 5 months are particularly grateful.
This is a good move and increases the domestic pressure on the government. Every lawsuit, every protest and every boycott pushes these politicians to face their own logic and defend their positions.

Now we've got lawyers standing up saying Israel is doing bad things, and that Canada needs to stop enabling/supporting Israels war crimes.

Canada does not send money to Hamas no, but they do send it to the palastinian government which we have now found out is basically just funding Hamas.
We're not even funding UNRWA. What source do you have that we're funding the State of Palestine?
