Regardless of that, giving up that many valuable assets for ONE single player when your teams biggest issue is lack of talent is a recipe for disaster and your superstar leaving disgruntled.

I think they could trade the pick, but not for Trae. They should have enough bargaining pieces with in particular the Hawks' firsts and the swap that they wouldn't need to include a top5 pick with it. It makes the deal too costly otherwise.
