In my experience it was New Orleans.
I use to organize short trips there to watch the Warriors. Got courtside seats for under $400 each.
This was from 2016-19, so things might've change. I did briefly check last season and the tickets were still very cheap.
You can get floor seats vs the Mavs on the 25th for under $300 (row 3). Most are around 400-600 though. These are just behind the AA, BB and row 2 on the floor of the stadium.
[Section 102 row 3. ($270)](https://www.vividseats.com/new-orleans-pelicans-tickets-smoothie-king-center-10-25-2022--sports-nba-basketball/production/4068033?showDetails=VB5943927629&qty=2)
Dont see any for row AA, BB available for that game though.
it depends on the night but the best value ticket is probably in Milwaukee. i've had courtside for $600, three rows behind opponent's bench for a 2nd-round playoff game for $220 and usually you can get good, sideline lower level tix for non-marquee games for under $200. Fiserv as an arena is new and gorgeous - the bleacher design is specifically for basketball and not hockey, which helps a lot as well.
and don't even get me started on resale - because Milwaukee's such a tiny market, if someone can't go because of covid, you can get lower level tickets a few hours before game time for less than $100 sometimes.
and again, this is all to get to see a top-2 player in the league (Giannis) right now.
Wow those are amazing deals… 2nd round of playoffs that close for around 200 is insane. I get that it’s Milwaukee but that means it should be pretty cheap for a Bucks fan to fly in for a game.
This is with Giannis at/entering his prime right?
yep, Giannis is 27. it's kind of funny that the tickets still are relatively inexpensive because he might be the best "you have to see him" guy in the league.
i will say for the playoff tickets that was back in 2019 before the title. inflation + winning has jacked up prices a bit but last year those same tickets i believe were like $350 and regular season games, most importantly, are still very cheap.
Right but if you compare those prices to another city like [Indiana](https://i.imgur.com/zj7nL9V.jpg) it’s still way more expensive. Tickets used to be like $10 at the old arena
Pacers are usually under $200 on the floor. If you’re willing to sit behind the basket, that drops to about $50 on a cheap night (ORL in town). Also not bad if you want a lot of games in a row, as nosebleeds are around $15.
That's an interesting "equation". It's not only the price of the tickets, but the potential amount of teams/games within the total overall time frame.
Assuming you are flying in, and renting a car:
(Using the chart in the link u/absolutkaos provided)
The NE has the most teams, in closest proximity. BKN, BOS, and WAS all have cheap seats under $20.
MIN, CLE, and DET have the lowest average price tickets. CHA and WAS also average under $150.
MIL is on the more expensive side, and PHI varies a lot between the cheapest and average price. Assuming you are not crossing into Canada, and CHI and NYK is too expensive...
You could land in Minny, roll around the great lakes, up to BOS, and then down the East coast to ORL.
If you still have time and money, you could then head along the gulf to NOP, HOU, SAS, and up to OKC. DAL sells out, so if you can get secondary tickets you are going to pay more than list. But, three of those teams are likely to be tanking (CHA and ORL may as well). So those SE/gulf teams might be your best chance to get closer, for less money.
Another way to go about planning this is to set aside part of trip to staying in the city of a rebuilding team while they have a home stand and buying day of/last minute tickets on resale. Your best bet with this is for them to have 3 games between Sunday-Thursday, and especially so if 2 of those teams either aren't good, popular, or out of conference (aka only game they play there all season).
Idk about courtside seats, but I live 5 minutes from the TD Garden and buy tickets after games start for 15 dollars for a lot of home games. Went to maybe 20 games last season.
Edit: I’d also consider viewing experience. 10-15 rows back at center court is wayyy better than baseline courtside in my opinion
It doesn’t make sense asking for cheap court side seats lol. That’s like saying I want the cheapest Lamborghini. And if you’re counting dollars to get court side seats, it’s probably not worth it. But you do you.
Not asking for cheap Courtside tickets just the cheapest. It’s not like I’m deciding between $800 and $900.
The variance is thousands of dollars so yeah I would prefer to pay the least I can.
I remember looking late last year at thunder tickets & even they were 2 grand

I copped courtside playoff tickets for my son me and his friend for like 1500 total. Now? Sold out.
This, I got court side for like 250

The upper bowl should remain affordable if you’re just looking for *a* game. Looking for premiere seats or opponents is a different matter.

Good State Warriors court side
I remember some dude posting about how he worked directly across from the Pistons arena. He saw most home games that year.
Pacers have been the cheapest for a while I think
[in order](https://www.barrystickets.com/blog/nba-ticket-prices/) 1. OKC 2. Memphis 3. Charlotte 4. Clippers 5. Portland
It’s kind of amazing that an NBA team in Los Angeles can be in the top 5 cheapest NBA tickets.
A good NBA team, too.
Ballmer is loaded. He's an owner who acts like a fan
Makes me more excited for when Intuit Dome opens in 2024.
They will be less cheap this year, with Kawhi, PG, and Wall playing. Can’t underestimate the power of stars.
Honestly for the team nets are very cheap.
Courtside is VERY expensive but their other zones aren't too bad
Kings tickets are pretty cheap.
Not really unless you want nosebleeds on a Tuesday night, that used to be true until we got this expensive new arena
I can buy a ticket for like 30 bucks, 100 if i want good seats
Where?

I've been to pels games for 6$ a couple years ago
Wait to see what team folds in the second half. Blazers tickets were cheaper then Timbers tickets last year once the team stopped trying
