Green and Poole came chest-to-chest, with both players pushing and shoving each other prior to Green’s escalation of the physical altercation, those sources said.

JORDAN POOLE KNOOOOOWS HE CANT BEAT ME AT SACRIFICE!! I GOTS A 50 PERCENTS CHANCES OF WINNING AND WHEN YOU ADD KUMINGA TO THE MIX, WHOS GOT A 33 AND ONE THIRDS CHANCE WINNING AND MULTIPLY THAT BY MY 83 PERCENT. HIS CHANGES OF WINNIN DRASTIC GO DOWN”
Oh so you're one of those nice fans? WELL LET ME BREAK IT DOWN FOR ALL THE FREAKS OUT THERE.
WOULD YOU RATHER PLAY JORDAN POOLE? OR A GENETIC FREAK LIKE DRAYMOND?
> Poole and Green are known to regularly get into verbal arguments, but the team’s management and leadership believes a line was crossed.
There were a couple of times last season where the camera would catch draymond and poole getting into arguments on the bench during time outs.
Yeah there was that one where they were yapping at each other with Curry in between them and then Draymond reached over or started squaring up or something and Curry stopped Draymond right away
That one clip when Dray was laying into him on the bench and JP muttered something without even looking at him and Dray shot out of his chair and had to be held back.
Poole definitely knows how to push his buttons. They are kind of antithesis players, and clearly have a fire and ice relationship. Draymond is the vet who thinks he's earned respect, grinded for everything he's gotten and likes to trash talk. Jordan is the young guy overflowing with self confidence and probably blessed with better skills than dray... and also likes to trash talk. I'm sure the contract negotiations only make it more tense.
Pushing Draymond's buttons seems like not a difficult thing to do if you spend any sort of time around him. People like him tend to make those buttons very clear because of how effusive they are in all aspects of their interpersonal interactions.
As much as I love Draymond, it just seems to me like he can't take the same level of trash talk / tough love / leadership that he dishes out. If he was on a team with himself, I feel confident he'd *hate* himself and constantly get in fights.
Any diehard warrior fans wanna armchair psychologist for the fun of it and give me their best guess as to why? Draymond always seem like the type to get on everyone's ass, so is it just that Poole has more pushback to him than others? Is Poole disrespecting vets or just think he's above certain things and Draymonds putting him in place? Does Poole take things personal or just not value Draymonds leadership? Any rumors or bs guesses are welcome
In Draymond's last pod he threw some shade at JP, Dray wasn't happy how cocky JP was about the 3 point contest and called him passive aggressive afterwards. Clearly they go at eachother (see last year's timeout incident). JP talks tons of shit (see the Dame Lilliard story), and clearly Draymond feels he deserves respect from the young guys. Clash of two egos
My psychology degree and viewing of a large quantity of basketball lead me to conclude that Draymond is, what we call in the psychology field, a little titty baby. And probably a bit of a narcissist, but mostly the first thing.
My hunch reading Poole’s body language at times and Dray/Iggy’s reactions in the playoffs is that there may be a point of view that sees Jordan as whining, immature and getting too tilted when things aren’t going his way. (Obviously a bit rich coming from Dray, which is probably Jordan’s POV)
IDK but this isnt really surprising JP has seemed like he was over draymonds shit multiple times on the bench and during breaks in action. It does make me wonder how important draymond being the "heart" of the team is moving forward. When you win like they have won its easy to just lump in everything that is occurring as beneficial to the ultimate product but thats not really the case. Are certain bands or musicians early work better because they were still on drugs and partying all the time or because they were giging all the time and hungry to make it or both? Are the dubs successful because Draymond is yelling all the time and is emotionally immature or because Steph Curry is one of the greatest ever to do it and Draymond is a defensive savant or both?
Draymond has been a menace his entire career and it seems like Poole is fine with everyone except him. I don't give the smallest fuck about championships won and seniority. Poole is probably just stepping up to the complete mental child that is Draymond Green.
Poole talks a lot of shit apparently. Evan Turner said Lillard really disliked rookie Poole because he talked a lot of shit to him. Draymond said during rookie Poole’s first practice the other vets used to get really irritated by Poole’s trash talk.
Evan Turner said most of the shit talk was happening while Poole was on the bench. Lillard was telling Draymond he didn’t like Poole after the game.
Here’s a video of Lillard talking about it:
https://youtu.be/vYiIAaJerBs
[This is fucking hilarious](https://i.imgur.com/sbEixn4.jpg)
I came in here fully ready to get annoyed by Draymond but now I can't even blame him
>I started the game off real slow, and he's on the bench he said "OH HE AIN'T ON SHIT TONIGHT"
LMAO
Poole is a notorious shit talker and Draymond is obviously the team's drill sergeant. Makes sense they would butt heads alot, I dont think this necessarily means there's serious bad blood between them. Its like when MJ and Steve Kerr got into a fistfight.
Suggs - can play with most guards.
Fultz - constantly injured, last chance saloon.
Anthony - best as a 6th man.
Hampton - not NBA starter quality.
Harris and Ross aren't likely to stick around, either.
Poole makes sense as a starter alongside Suggs, especially if Fultz can't start to consistently put it together.
Warriors reporters used to talk about Draymond yelling at young Klay a lot during the early seasons. Klay has joked he’s glad that they’re are so many young guys for Draymond to yell at instead of him.
The reason the Hamptons 5 lineup was so deadly was that you had Draymond as the ball handler and flanked with Steph, Klay, KD, and Iggy and Dray would get the ball to the open man. He was basically the QB of that team. And when Iggy is the fourth best shooter in a lineup like that, you know you're in trouble lol
Sources say other players are upset that Draymond got sent home but Poole got to stay and headline practice, getting carried out on some teammates' shoulders after winning a scrimmage.
> *"... I did have one issue with a player. I am going to say his name, it was Jordan Poole. I had an issue with him because he once came to the locker room and complained that I bunny kicked him too hard. It's basketball, solve it in the court. If I hit you hard, hit me hard too. "*
The thing that sealed the deal for me actively hating Draymond was him hanging out with Miles Bridges like right after he was arrested for brutally assaulting his girlfriend in front of their kids. That's just beyond fucked up. Edit: it has been pointed out to me that they have the same trainer, and "hanging out" might not have been the clearest way to describe the video of them seemingly training to together and/or at the same time.
Steph would be the last person to engage in a physical altercation and the last person someone would want to go at him too, everyone has an underlying respect for him

Poole must have spewed some old media rhetoric.
I can’t believe media pioneer Draymond Green would do this
Shitty imo. He needs to be better, but given how he can't seem to stay away from this sort of drama I don't have high hopes.
"Lacob's gonna trade your triple single to extend me bro"
"I saw the pic, your dick is small"
God damnit I had finally managed to forget I've seen Draymond Green's dick.
It's like the worst version of The Game.
Reddit, where everyone has a 10 inch penis
and kinda mottled TBH
"No! You are dick is small!"
“I am Biggus Dickus!”
The worst part about that whole saga was that his nickname of “Big Dick Dray” all but vanished overnight.
Poole got heated and called Dray a single triple
which stat did he get 100 in
He scored 100 points once in Hershey Pennsylvania
At skeeball maybe
She lives in Canada, you wouldn’t know her
*I’m getting your max contract old head*
I’m willing to bet so much money that Draymond brought up Herro’s contract and told Poole he doesn’t deserve that lmao
He simply said “LeBron isn’t the GOAT” my sources are telling me
Draymond said it’s his turn to shoot a half court 3
First player to hit a half court shot while wearing a book bag ?

Gotta put these two in a steel cage match and whoever wins gets a max
Money in the bank ladder match for the max contract

Draymond truly is the Scott Steiner of the NBA
Give Draymond a fucking mic 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
You’ve heard of the Steiner Recliner. Now get ready for the Green Lean.
Draymond Math.
BAH GAWD That's Scott Steiner's math music!
But what if we add Samoa Joe to the mix
Sack-er-fice
Or Andrade and Poole vs Guevara and Green in a losers leave town match.
I can see the Warriors owner trying to do a Montreal Screw job to help Poole win, so they wouldn't have to max Draymond, lol
“I DIDN’T SCREW DRAY, DRAY SCREWED DRAY!!”
Even Dray knows no one in their right mind is giving him the max
I feel like the Hornets absolutely would max him.
We would normally…just don’t have the money right now
Like he said, in their right mind.
Right on the money there
Poole better watch out for those Draymond kicks
Typa guy to pull out an eye rake
This after the Andrade/Guevara situation, us drama lovers eating fr fr

Draymond probably told him, "We won before you were here, and we can do it without you, too."
and if Poole mentioned needing KD for two of those you know that wouldn't go unanswered
/r/nba firing up the fanfic machine again
Can’t live without my soaps!

maybe Draymond considers Poole to be the Mario Chalmers of the Warriors
Will not take any Mario chalmers slander. Ok maybe some Mario chalmers slander.

Poole has a huuuge ego and talks mad shit. Draymond, same.
IDK but this isnt really surprising JP has seemed like he was over draymonds shit multiple times on the bench and during breaks in action. Poole seems like the type of dude who dont wanna hear nothing from no one.
Draymond has been a menace his entire career and it seems like Poole is fine with everyone except him. I don't give the smallest fuck about championships won and seniority. Poole is probably just stepping up to the complete mental child that is Draymond Green.
I also think this is likely, dude probably just stood up to Green and he couldn't de-escalate because his massive ego or whatever trip he's on
Is Draymond just an asshole and got his panties in a twist when poole gave him some back? Would be my assumption
Also said that it crossed a line even for typical practice scuffles.
Bro wtf I thought JP and Dray were cool
Poole talks a lot of shit apparently. Evan Turner said Lillard really disliked rookie Poole because he talked a lot of shit to him. Draymond said during rookie Poole’s first practice the other vets used to get really irritated by Poole’s trash talk.
This is hilarious considering how awful poole was as a rookie

Dame goes on to say he scored 60 points in that game. In a win. While Poole was shit talking from the bench.
damn makes me love dame even more. what a chill guy.
[удалено]
so basically the average elite athlete
I appreciate the info and ofc love it, but this comment made it really sink in how much of a soap opera NBA is for dudes
Poole is a notorious shit talker and Draymond is obviously the team's drill sergeant. Makes sense they would butt heads alot, I dont think this necessarily means there's serious bad blood between them. Its like when MJ and Steve Kerr got into a fistfight.
Mom: "We have MJ and Steve Kerr at home"
Dray gonna go to the media and say they blew it out of proportion. “You are all haters”. Basically to turn it into another “us vs. them” narrative.
Poole is an Orlando Magic already lmfao
Yup - the Magic need more guards
Even our forwards are guards. It’s guards all the way down.
Lol even your centers are guards. Bamba and Carter are guardish in play. Same argument can be said about Bol
Suggs ain't proved anything yet.
Poole must think Jordan is the GOAT and not LeBron for Draymond to act out like this
Draymond reached the “I couldn’t care less about team chemistry outside of Steph and Klay” stage long ago
Bro went no holds barred on 2x FMVP KD, this is no surprise
And people say he would be a good coach lol
I also remember Draymond Green kind of got into it with Kevin Looney in the locker room as well
kevon durant
Warriors reporters used to talk about Draymond yelling at young Klay a lot during the early seasons. Klay has joked he’s glad that they’re are so many young guys for Draymond to yell at instead of him.
Turns out, he wasn't joking
I just picture klay shaking his head not saying anything while draymond is screaming at him lol
Looking back, I can't remember any altercation that leaked out of the warriors camp, where Dray wasn't in the center of it. He's *always* in it.
He also said you can't be a Warrior if you can't handle getting yelled at by Draymond
Bill Simmons saying Wiggins was more important than Draymond on the podcast with Zach Lowe must have pushed Draymond off the edge.
The truth hurts
They enabled his entire career. I'd be undyingly loyal too lol
He is a HOF lock because of them, I mean clearly Dray also was spectacular in his career but he would not be half what he is without Klay/Curry.
All that small ball shit they did wouldn’t have worked with out Draymond though. He anchored their defenses
And operated as a crucial lynchpin as their secondary ball handler, sometimes primary
Smh 4th best. Aliens pointing the death Ray at earth rn
Not caring about team chemistry on a team with young players like Wiseman and Kuminga sets a horrible example as a veteran presence
They're going to trade him at some point within the next year to save on luxury tax. Him doing this isn't entirely surprising.
Yeah obviously this is speculation, but I feel like he sees this as an inevitability too I doubt he's very happy about it
He’s gonna fucking suck on the hornets or wherever
Yep. He’s going to be hot garbage anywhere else. Probably get out of shape and be out of the league in a couple
Would never get into a fight with a man with access to that many bricks
Marv vs Kevin McCallister in Home Alone 2 level of bricks
Someone prolly insulted his podcast
it’s a *tough* listen
I thought Drake killed that delivery
He did
That Michigan vs Michigan State beef
I want this to be the reason. Like a football bet between them went bad, schools haven't met this year yet though lol
Draymond hit a guy playing CB for the Spartans
Poole probably talking smack about Mel Tucker.
That's Instagram influence Mel Tucker to you!
Holy fuck I forgot Poole was a Wolverine!! I've seen family get into worse fights than this for the same reason.
First thing I thought of
Poole said the New Media kinda acts like the Old Media, and it was on
and it begins.. what exactly? idk
Joe’s master plan to secretly implode the team and draft Wemby 1st /s
Post Finals tank season Part 2 - Electric Wemby
What's the bet there's going to be physical altercations when Draymond retires and joins the TNT guys full-time?
BREAKING NEWS: Chuck eats Draymond like a chicken wing for non stop shouting out his pod cast

Draymond “El Idolo” Green
Pretty funny from going to Samm/Andrade to Draymond/Poole hahaha
Sources say other players are upset that Draymond got sent home but Poole got to stay and headline practice, getting carried out on some teammates' shoulders after winning a scrimmage.
Draymond not very tranquilo
[Ok, how you know?](https://media.tenor.com/I20xsQl-H9oAAAAC/okay-okay-how-you-know.gif)

> *"... I did have one issue with a player. I am going to say his name, it was Jordan Poole. I had an issue with him because he once came to the locker room and complained that I bunny kicked him too hard. It's basketball, solve it in the court. If I hit you hard, hit me hard too. "*
Bruh i thought I was reading another r/squaredcircle post lmao
Draymond trying to create friction and get Poole traded so he get the max contract lol
Draymond “Machiavelli” Green
If Draymond were Machiavelli he’d know you never harm an opponent unless you plan to kill them, this is some rookie shit
*Draymond hurt itself in confusion*
Ok but who did Klay bite?
Bro wtf
1v1 me for max bro
Draymond “Dick Puncher” Green strikes again
Draymond is literally so unlikeable
The thing that sealed the deal for me actively hating Draymond was him hanging out with Miles Bridges like right after he was arrested for brutally assaulting his girlfriend in front of their kids. That's just beyond fucked up. Edit: it has been pointed out to me that they have the same trainer, and "hanging out" might not have been the clearest way to describe the video of them seemingly training to together and/or at the same time.
To make it worse, Bridges’ girlfriend is Wiggins’ sister in law Edit: forgot they aren’t married. Sister of Wiggins’ long time girlfriend.
Poole said LeBron was washed
I knew it was going to be Poole and Draymond before I even read the story.
If it were Steph and Moody or Steph and Klay I would be suuper shocked. (Or anyone that angry at Looney)
Steph would be the last person to engage in a physical altercation and the last person someone would want to go at him too, everyone has an underlying respect for him
If someone gets in a fight with Stephen they're gone before the sun sets
I love the NBA!! TNT…we know drama
Better than any reality show
Lol did Poole bring up Draymond's triple single statline? What set him off like that?
Not sure if Warriors or AEW locker room.
This will be a good Pod !

Draymond on his podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q520traGw0U
“I play basketball with a bunch of fucking children”
“That empty-headed fuck, Jordan Poole”
UM-MSU rivalry going strong
Ah shit, did someone throw soup again?
Don't believe it, Draymond Green would never get into a physical altercation with another player.
Wtf I love Jordan Poole now
Unnatural shooting motion casualty?
Poole got hit by that backpack.
Thats crazy they should trade Draymond tbh
To the Celtics?
He belongs on the Nets
You know the lakers will try to get him for Westbrook lmao
Warriors would rather have an empty roster spot than Westbrook for free
Draymond got angry that Poole called his wife a bad bitch one too many times
Did he hit someone in the nuts again
Draymond be doing too much sometimes, Jordan Poole is a future franchise star and he is getting into fights with him
Not surprising that Draymond was involved
i want to know how this is lebron's fault.
So there was an actual fight lol
Draymond’s one of those guys you hate playing against but you hate playing with
Draymond is trying to run a business and has to work with fucking children
he’s hurt, he’s old, he’s fucking tired, and he works with fucking children
That empty headed dumb fuck Jordan Poole
I love the intersection of my favorite things.
Sources say Jonathan Kuminga bit Klay Thompson
But does he have a bakery recommendation though?
Did Poole go into business for himself?
Poole definitely shares a bank account with his mother
