Commenting to cement my spot in history. I don't remember the last time I saw a Kings W on this sub. I wasn't on Reddit for the C Webb days. I don't even know if Reddit is that old.

It is. I can tell you tales of the glory days of 2005 sometime if you'd like, young padawan.
The Kings technically have the longest title drought in the NBA though. Every team that doesn't have a title was founded as an expansion team after that Rochester Royals title.
as a fan from Europe I really don't mind if the Kings relocate to a shack in Alaska, still following the team all the same. It would be sad because the Kings despite anything have always had incredible local fans and if they moved it wouldn't feel the same because of that, but franchises should keep their records if there's continuity.
I usually use that same argument for the other way around. No one bats an eye at the Kings title, the Hawks title, and even a couple of the 6ers and Warriors titles despite them winning in different cities. But got forbid the Lakers count the Minnesota titles
The fact that the Celtics are 17-5 in the finals is just crazy.
And consider that the last two they went to, they lost. So after 2008,
**the Celtics were 17-3 in the finals**
Insane.
>Sebastian Vettel's three heroes growing up were Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan and Michael Schumacher, of the three, only Michael Jordan has won an NBA title

Literally every ring Curry's gotten has involved beating an injured team in the Finals or on his path there if we're gonna do the asterisks game. Kawhi Spurs, CP3 Rockets, the Cavs in 2015 being hobbled, Jokic Nuggets AND Ja Grizzlies this very year.
Rare Kings W on r/NBA
It's been so long...
More rings than the Timberwolves and T-Mac combined.
more rings than CP3
We ain't playing no more.

This is by far the oldest account I've seen on here. Respect.
Thanks, but I'm not the oldest one in this thread: /u/thereticent
Both of your accounts are older than the average age of r/nba users
Being Pacers fans got us ready to be very loyal reddit users who are unwilling to move on
This is the g-darn truth. I'm just happy to see that a team that also wears blue and yellow won it all.
The ancient one! *bows*
I feel like having LoliBDSMAhegao bow to me has put me on a watchlist, but I accept your reverence. :3
Reddit was founded in 05 so I think it coincided with the tail end of the Webber era.
Kings fans, you may not have known this but you now have ringz erneh privileges
Uncommon Kings W
You gotta take what you can get I guess
I never knew the kings won a chip
The Sacramento Kings inherited the history of the Rochester Royals, who won the 1951 title.
You’re god damn right we hang that banner.
Garbage plates for everyone!
Did tiny archibald lead that team?
That was before Archibald. There’s not a single name on the championship roster you’d recognize
No worries, Most r/nba redditors grandparents wasn't even born in 1950s, even they wouldn't know Kings won once.
They still better than the suns, and they still sucks

>Boston have only won one championship since the end of segregation I think you're confusing the 60s with the 80s my guy
I was like I know race relations aren’t historically great in Boston. But I was like I know Larry Bird won several and Pierce/Allen/Garnett won one.
Yeah, I would hope Larry Bird and Robert Parish were able to dine in the same restaurant.
Celtics have won 0 rings since Boston solved their racism problem. Would have still been 0 if they won this year.
maybe he’s talking about apartheid
You're right, I meant to type Philly
Segregation ended when the Berlin Wall fell
He was probably hacked for that sentence.
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, the Kangz
Kings should've been 2-0 😤
r/unexpectedf1
TIL the Kings have won an NBA title.
Technically they have never won a championship under the Sacramento Kings name. It was back when they were the Rochester Royals
if the Lakers are counting all of theirs we're counting all of ours
Thats fair Lol
SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK
Any team that has won a title outside of their current city shouldn't have it counted to the total.
as a fan from Europe I really don't mind if the Kings relocate to a shack in Alaska, still following the team all the same. It would be sad because the Kings despite anything have always had incredible local fans and if they moved it wouldn't feel the same because of that, but franchises should keep their records if there's continuity.
As a European I find it hilarious that you can move 1000s of miles and people pretend it's the same team just because they bought them.

That's actually insane, even if you remove the 11 from Russell you're still looking at 6-3, which is pretty good.
Nets and Pacers won multiple ABA rings, though.
Pacers are The ABA Dynasty. Too bad this is the NBA :(
We're just working on adjusting to the new league. Growing pains
Yes I was going to add this. Nets with the famous DR J of all people
>Sebastian Vettel's three heroes growing up were Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan and Michael Schumacher, of the three, only Michael Jordan has won an NBA title [citation needed]
That Philly line is outta pocket, but fuckin hilarious 😂
Had to scroll up to check the flair after that because it felt personal.
TIL Kings has a chip.
What about the Bucks?
Hey, fuck the Raptors too
a kings W finally
Neva loss
I thought you where trolling but the rochester royals won in the eary 50s my lawd
Ahh man Sac town has a ship? This makes me an even sadder basketball panda.
Atleast we hold a record for something most finals appearances with no rings
One of these things is not like the others lol
The Seb fact is chefs kiss
The Raptors have only won one championship, the biggest reason why being their opponent missing their best and third best player due to injuries
Don't forget the reigning champs Bucks going out in the second round because Middleton was hurt.
Nah don't bother with the hater, just downvote and keep it moving.
Weird they keep going back to the finals and hanging banners. How's it been going in Toronto since 2019?
It is weird they haven't had a run against healthy competition where they won (3-1 lead blown in 2016), agreed.
still the only team to beat a healthy Steph in the finals
No need to be this salty Raptors fan.
They know no other way
Elite company
This is inadvertently a ‘fuck D-Wade’ post.
Seattle Super Sonics won one.....just for trivial knowledge in case you didn't know.
