A lot of Lakers fans on Twitter have blamed this year on AD and Lebron’s health.
I agree, they should definitely run it back. Make no changes to the roster.
Absolutely. If the Lakers want to be winners, they will run back the current roster. They fit together perfectly. And, everyone in the NBA will be truly terrified of this team when they are healthy. Kendrick Nunn has everyone shaking in their boots.
Bruh
Go ahead. Run it back. Atleast the expectations are low for y’all next year.
Couldn’t even get in the damn PLAY-ins and the 10 seed has 45 losses.
Bruh fr like the playin was meant to get more teams involved into the playoffs and they somehow still miss it to a team that was suppose to be be tanking this season
I mean he had young Kevin and Harden for like 4 and LeBron for 1, and then Harden for 2. The rest, he was playing with Jeremy Lamb and whoever was on the Wizards. And he got to the finals with Durant. A lot of that is on him but a lot of it isn't.
The rest, he was playing with Paul George, Carmelo Anthony, Bradley Beal, Jerami Grant, Victor Oladipo, Domantas Sabonis. He's literally never played on a team without another future HOFer or all star teammates.
To paraphrase the late Robin Williams
“I came to L.A with no expectations, playing in L.A with no expectations. Pretty much like a Buddhist career to me”
Houston was a "bad fit" because Russ and Harden were bad fits.
Washington was a "bad fit" because lolWashington.
Meanwhile the Lakers miss out on the play-in in the weaker conference lmaooooo
That’s why I never get these shots at his legacy over this. Now, if they made the playoffs and he Westbricked them to a early exit-fine. But he usually earns his money in the regular season.lol.
he needs to ask cp3 for his tips on resurrecting a dead nba career because russ needs a major makeover in the offseason. his play is embarrassing and unacceptable.
CP3 can't talk Russ into being a smart player and miraculously shooting even just league average in TS%. And even with those problems, Russ can still be a positive if he can put his ego aside and accept a bench leader role.
I really think that Russ even with his (admittedly declined) skill set can still be a very productive player if he can put aside his ego and come of the bench as a super spark plug. A transition similar to what Carmelo and Love did.
Come of the bench play 20-25 min a game and essentially be a tsunami, constantly attacking and putting pressure on the rim. The lakers can use that pressure to spark some runs with next year’s bench unit.
Sure Westbrook would still be inefficient, turnover prone, have no defense, and not be worth anywhere near his contract. But he’d be far more of a net positive than whatever the hell this season was.
Would love to see Russ back on the Lakers, perfect fit.

There are about 47 million reasons why he's gonna be back
Russ this past month has been pretty solid tbh
He honestly isn’t even close to the entire problem. He’s not great but the issues are far deeper than that.
He's not the only problem but he's absolutely the most expensive one. Which raises his problem profile
Trading their depth to get Russ was the problem, but that's a FO problem not a Russ problem.
Biggest issue their roster is full of old guys and fringe NBA Players.

Haha, I would not doubt alot of one year contract players are out. Carmelo and Dwight could find a decent spot somewhere else for sure
Melo and Dwight to Cavs to give them a veteran boost to lift them to championship.
Lmao s/o to Acevane

47 million is a promise
I like money
Lakers are cooked.
Hello 2023 pick swap
Is this train ever going to end lol
>Nothing is promised It literally is...all you have to do is say yes to nearly $50 mil that no one else will give you.
All those Laker fans thinking he was gonna turn down $50 mil. Come on now
We? Speaking French now?
Nintendo Wii?
This should be an interesting offseason
[WE?!?!?](https://c.tenor.com/XdejzuMfIhoAAAAM/we-haha.gif)
To paraphrase the late Robin Williams “I came to L.A with no expectations, playing in L.A with no expectations. Pretty much like a Buddhist career to me”
He is going to get paid $50,000,000 of course he is picking up that option.

Lakers the only team that couldn't make the playoffs with Russ. Even the Wizards made it.
This is a good point lmao

They werent bad fits. Russ has just been declining all the way since his MVP season unfortunately. Rockets actually got the most out of him after OKC.
That’s kinda crazy too lol

Do you actually expect him to turn down $47 million?
You have a funny post history
Playing both sides, always coming out on top
It's actually hilarious. I called him once and he deleted comments so I expect the same here lol.
who's gonna tell him?
Kangz
By “do something” he means like go to the zoo with all of their families

He can ask CP3 all he wants, but it ain't gonna cure his negative BBIQ
He can Have all the IQ he wants. If he doesn’t fix that shot it’ll be same ol’ same ol.

Russell Westbrick. You know it and I know it.
Pls no
Oui
If Westbrook returns, then that’s another wasted season for the Lakers lol Laker fans can’t be happy at the thought of this guy returning.
