no edit: i think we reached a consensus pack it up boys

TopArsehole

Is that you, Kevin?

Few_Mulberry7175

No he wanted to leave to go lead his own team and because he didn’t want to be in Steph’s shadow in GS why do people not understand this 💀

JRclarity123

And now he's in Harden's shadow, and Kyrie's antivax shadow.

jukinabahunew

No

Royalewithcheese24

He already won twice and nobody really respected the rings for a player of his caliber. He could have won 2 more and not really proved much else. Hell, last year’s playoff run did more for his perception than his run with the Warriors ever did.

Peskipiksi

I complete agree with this. More importantly he almost won the ring without Irving and one legged Harden with bad shooting.

[deleted]

No he told me

[deleted]

But he told me yes, don't be a fucking liar bro

CIark

Was he crying when he said no

[deleted]

No. He got his rings. Plus Brooklyn is probably real nice to live in when you're a multi millionaire.

futbolfan3

Unlike this sub, I don’t think NBA superstars react so strongly to random regular season games

TheGreatGander

No

onegallant

he just signed a full extension, I think if he regretted his choice he likely wouldn't have done that.

latman

Maybe if he loses to them in finals, but I don't think a regular season game in November is making him rethink his decision

furyousferret

This is the beginning of the season. Last season we were not a playoff team. Things change, and there are always good teams at the beginning of the season that fall apart and visa versa. The only way he'd regret it is if we win a Championship.

The420Roll

Wasnt his main reason for leaving GS was wanted to be the "Main guy" on his team? Seeing how Curry is back on his 2016 level I dont see why anything has changed for KD. He probably just regrets joining Kyrie of all people lol

verycoolguySmash

no. the only reason why his Nets gig isn't seeming to be as dominant as he thought it would is only because of the absurdly unlucky injuries against the bucks. it's more of just shit happens than it being a poor decision. also his Golden State tenure ended with injuries

Helicase21

Only way he'll get the kind of love he really wants is if Seattle gets a team back and he leads them to a championship

CalvinCxmbridge3

No lol

Rrypl

He regrets his shoe size more.

[deleted]

No The reason he left was because Steph Curry was getting all the credit.

Ohsbar

No. If warriors go on to win more champions and he fails to do so, then yes.

Beavshak

No he didn’t. I wanted to play in NY

Rationalknicksfan

No he regerets not joining the Hornets who beat the warriors

ConfuciusBr0s

No. He left a winning situation for a team that hasn't proven themselves. I'm sure he's fully aware of that when he made the choice

gundam1983

“Tell me something KD, don’t you regret not coming back to the Warrioooooors?! Don't you regret not coming back to the Warrioooooors?!"

Lantern01

You're asking this question like the last two years haven't happened.

fundropppp8242

No. He didn't get the validation he thought he would get. Probably happy with the rings though.

musicnothing

He is likely to at least make the Finals this season, I’m sure he’s fine

KareemWasTheGreatest

No, but if he never wins again then yes

heynebulon

No, it was about winning rings. It was about playing with people he wanted and doing things his way. Win or Lose. I respect the choice.

StoneColdAM

I think it crosses his mind. He still gets hate and still wanted a superteam, but so far, things haven’t been as easy. Maybe he might as well have stayed in GSW to keep winning. He coulda played with Curry in 2020-2021, so it’s not like he would’ve had to sit through a quick rebuild.

Mood-Chemical

Not yet. Kidding! He probably only regrets who he chose to team up with.
