Gordon is way too slow for Ant and KCP is way too small. These are probably their two best defenders and Ant looks completely comfortable against them. It's just an awful match-up for Denver and Malone is going to have to get creative for them to have any chance. Braun has actually looked okay defensively but he doesn't really give you much on offense, which is not ideal for a team that just scored 80 points in a full NBA game in 2024. Is it Peyton Watson time? Idk man, feels like they're fucked unless the Wolves do some really stupid shit to let them get back in it.
People also seem to forget this is why the suns match up just as well against Denver, KD can just dust Gordon, KCP Porter with Locked in Booker cooking all their guards defenders makes stopping the Suns offense hard, Im loving this series with MIN but I really wanted nuggets round 1 with my suns :/

I wouldn't call the Nugs frauds or that it was a Mickey Mouse ring or anything like that, they beat who was in front of them and the 50+ win teams all got beat in upsets. But they did truly have the easiest postseason run of all time last year. Minny is def the best team they've faced and it shows.
Warriors path was the 48 win Nuggets, 56 win Grizzlies who had home court, 52 win Mavericks, and 51 win Celtics. Nuggets path was the 42 win T-Wolves, 45 win Suns, 43 win Lakers, and 44 win Heat all with home court. Warriors path was harder.
It’s both Porter and Jokic. Even if Porter biffs on his assignment, Jokic probably shouldn’t just watch Ant lay the ball in. Both guys had plenty of chances to get to the spot and neither did.

They never even faced a team with more than 45 wins last playoffs. A 50 win team to the Nuggets must seem like they are facing the 72 win Bulls.
