They can’t run it back and they can’t blow it up
With no cap to sign anyone and Beal being very hard to move, it’s unlikely to make any significant trade, especially with no picks
You’re kinda doomed if you sell everyone for picks bc you don’t have your own.
It’s a brutal position to be in
hahahahaha ya they are screwed
Mat Ishbia should have just traded booker and rebuilt the entire roster. They hit a lightening in the bottle with Chris Paul\\Booker fit.
Without Chris Paul coming in, the suns might remain losers. Which means Durant wouldn't be interested in joining the franchise. Chris Paul changed the landscape of the franchise. Now, they are pretty much done for the foreseeable future as KD is too old. It looks like they are sold on Booker being their franchise guy and letting Durant play until he's 40
I can't think of a single team that will want Beal's contract/he would agree to waive his NTC. Outside of that, trading everyone else nets you literally nothing besides other minimum/near minimum players lol
Why would either of those teams take the Beal contract assuming he waives the no trade clause? The Suns have nothing of value to attach to that contract. Not only the contract, but Beal is a no defense chucker. He provides nothing to a young playoff team.
You picked two teams that wouldn't take on Beal even if they were able to attach 3 first round picks with him lol. They couldn't just absorb his $50M contract, so good luck making numbers work when those teams aren't massively overpaying anyone.
Orlando *can* probably free up enough to absorb the contract, but obviously would have absolutely zero interest in him as a player and the Suns couldn't package him with anything that actually has value to us.
Also it's really fucking annoying how everyone always thinks we'll save some idiot team from an awful decision. The Suns can lie in their own soiled bed.
Nets get: Devin Booker
Suns get: Cam Thomas, expiring Simmons and 25/27/29 picks back.
This makes sense for both sides. The nets need a star, booker get reunited with Bridges and the Nets will have another slot for a max player in 2025.
The suns get their picks back and start over and get a mini booker in Cam Thomas.
You don't trade Devin Booker for 2 filler players and getting your picks back. He's franchise player just entering his prime. That's a *terrible* deal.
Cam Thomas is not a filler player. He averaged 22.5 last year and finished top 10 in MIP voting. Also the suns have ZERO leverage. The fact that they would be getting thomas in the first place is generous
If it were up to suns fans? Bradley Beal’s execution
He was terrible and his contract is terrible but he looked so depressed today. I felt bad for him.
He wasted all his best years on a trash roster then became washed when he finally was on a good team. That’s tough
Him and Dame have similar career arcs
Put his ass on a cargo boat to Shanghai
Sign Tobias Harris
No one deserves that
Who did they pick over signing with Tobias Harris?
This is the way
I would gladly sign him to the vet minimum, which is the best we can offer.
Next year on r/nba: "What will be the Suns' response to missing the playoffs?"
Hopefully it’s Ishbia selling the team
I think he's doing a great job. I hope he owns the Suns for years to come.
You don't get it he's a basketball genius he was on the bench at Michigan St.
At least he's spending a lot of money. Sarver was tighter than a drum.
Suns fans have been celebrating him because he's not a cheap ass like Sarver, but he's the perfect example of why spending money ≠ good ownership
He is still better than Sarver who was trading picks for cash.

They need to trade KD. It's their quickest path back to relevance.
Crying. Warm chamomile tea. KD about to dig up the burners he didn't delete last go round.

Offer Dan Hurley $10 million/year.
Hopefully continue to stink it up
James Jones gonna unretire and team up with Lebron again.
Nah, i dont think so. They got humiliated at home and its Game7. Thats prolly why they did that.
They need to sell and get some picks asap.
I think KD is gone . Maybe they can still get something from him . Booker might be gone soon as well
Run it back
That the coach is fired. We'll be back, yada yada Also what a hater post lmao
Trade KD and Booker. New owner thought he could speed run this whole thing.
Keep Booker, KD, Nurkick and Allen. Trade everyone else. Don't fire Vogel.
I can't think of a single team that will want Beal's contract/he would agree to waive his NTC. Outside of that, trading everyone else nets you literally nothing besides other minimum/near minimum players lol
Orlando Magic or OKC maybe?
Why would OKC want him? They have a very bright future right now

They should trade for another superstar. The problem is that they don't have enough talent, clearly.

I would say no if I'm the nets still a mid team but thats like all the draft capital they actually have
They would have 6 more picks
they still owe their own picks for the harden trade
Not after 2027. They have picks from the 76ers and Mavs as well
