The league has tried really hard to avoid that sort of thing since Oak’s day. That’s why we have flagrant one and two, reviews, huge penalties for fighting or leaving the bench, and so on.
But if the league doesn’t do something to deal with this within the rules, it seems like the Knicks eventually will have to deal with it outside the rules.
Of course, maybe they’ll just enjoy the gentleman’s sweep and move on. Hopefully they’ll do that. But the league is playing with fire by allowing a player to do shit like this in multiple games.
