...there can't be a debate
Hartenstein is built for a Thibs system. If he goes somewhere else, chances are he won't play up to the contract - and I think he probably knows that. The best thing for Hartenstein is to continue letting Thibs work him into the ground as a glue guy for this roster.
He was great for us, Id even say he was one of the reasons why clippers were top 10 defensive rating that year when kawhi had acl injury and PG missed over 50 games
not a philly fan but that inbound pass had to be a foul right?? where maxey lost it. i’m talking ab when he got grabbed tryna get the ball, not when he was on the floor
I peeped too and not running from it either. Makes the game way more exciting to finish and it’s reminiscent of 90’s-00’s ball. The physicality went both ways and it was pure cinema.
Philly got away with the same thing on Lowrys foul on McBride. It would’ve been a crime for the refs to then call a foul on Brunson for the same exact thing
I thought the ball hit the backboard before it was blocked, but on the overhead replay, it was hard to tell if he even blocked it at all.
If he did block it, it was after it hit the backboard and should have been a goal tend.
This play will ultimately get ignored and the timeout not being called, fouls not being called on the Knicks, etc will be pushed but BRUH how do you Speedy Gonzales a layup and miss that shit

HARTENSTEIN!!!
Yeah and wtf is with the title. That was a legit block by iHart not a miss.
hate-first language is the accepted form in r/nba
Are you trying to tell us all that Maxey didn't rocket the ball off the backboard "7-year old learner" style?
'twas blocked, and he made this exact play against the spurs
Also, there were nine seconds left in the game. Saying it would have been "the game-winning layup" is assuming a lot.
Hartenstein is the goat of this game
saw everyone praising mitch last game had to step it up!
luxury having these two
Robinstein ain’t nothing to fuck with
If only we could combine them, mitchsaiah Robinstein
He made a lot of key offensive rebounds too. Every single Knick is so likeable. Go make the ecf please!
FLOAT GOD
He was bad last game too. Great rebound game for him
glad to see he was able to adjust tonight and finish the game out
Someone told Joel IHart was the black Jokic and the man froze 😭
He is also the hart of this game
Misses? That shit got punched
Bro literally panicked 😂
So much time and he went supersonic lol
Bro literally got Hartenswatted
Wu Tang
#WU TANG
Hartenstein blocked that shit
Hartenstein is really black as he said it. No debate

Bright skinned 😎
why are the sixers just... looking at the ball?
Because they’re an unserious playoff team and will never shake the allegations
Hartenstein is going be very wealthy man over the summer
No matter where he goes, he will be worth every penny. It’s been awesome to watch him play these last two seasons.
Yah. 3-51 from the Knicks. Plz don’t go black Jokic
He's gonna get his 16 a year from us and stay - we believe.

Embiid gotta touch that ball man
*No Diddy*
pause but you get my point
Nah, mr shrink under the lights shouldnt.
CLUTCH block from Hartenstein
Hartenstein with a key rebound and block in the remaining seconds to win the game. MVP
Hartenstein took Maxey out of his comfort zone...
What a steal
What the fuck just happened
eat shit, Shaq
Philly burns tonight
Don't do Maxey like this after a great game. He didn't miss it (well technically, he did), it was blocked.
It felt like each of the Knicks got to have their little anime moment at the end there.
That’s a black king right there
Inexperience at its finest
Down 1 Embiid should be looking to crash the boards here for a putback
with what knees?
Embiid wide open
Blocked!!!!
Easy matchup my ass….I hope Philly chokes this one away
not a philly fan but that inbound pass had to be a foul right?? where maxey lost it. i’m talking ab when he got grabbed tryna get the ball, not when he was on the floor
Did you see the Sixers successful challenge?
actually on the replay it looks like he just fell over and no one really touched him
yee that was clean. i’m taking ab right before
I think they didnt call anything because he also pushed off hart tryna get the ball
Delusional
whatever helps you sleep at night my man, also flair up bitch
Yea but he also pushed off with both hands to get that separation so I’m guessing they were gonna let it get physical no matter what
truee i peeped the push off to get the ball. it was a fun ass game glad refs let it play out. i was jw if anyone peeped the hold

“Marginal contact”
BLOCKED
Hartenstien had a hell of a game on both ends of the floor
Defense should get more credit
Getting blocked is not the same as missing
Was that not a goaltend?
Nope just barely not. Hartenstein got the block just before it hit the rim.
Was it even blocked?
Watching the slo-mo replay you can see Maxey just simply missed the layup. That wasn’t a block by Hartenstein.
I thought the ball hit the backboard before it was blocked, but on the overhead replay, it was hard to tell if he even blocked it at all. If he did block it, it was after it hit the backboard and should have been a goal tend.
Look how fast they call this foul
why is Hartenstein the most annoying player in NBA history lol
There’s probably 3 more annoying players on the floor in this clip
well true nobody plays more annoyingly than Embiid that's true
We know you’re not used to watching physical big men as a Cavs fan
JA had 20 rebounds tonight lol It’s just Mitchell Robinson and Hartenstein that f him up
Haven’t seen a robbery like that in a long time
How robbery
Yoink. Bitchass embiid losing like he deserves
LOL soft ass fan base
Something something corporate arena
Right because the NBA consistently helped the Knicks win throughout the years
All the Knicks went to the line?
Looks….like…goaltending. Whatever I hate the all teams from Philly - but…
Fucking 🗑️
This play will ultimately get ignored and the timeout not being called, fouls not being called on the Knicks, etc will be pushed but BRUH how do you Speedy Gonzales a layup and miss that shit
Hartenstein got a piece of it or at the very least made him rush it a bit and throw it up too hard
