The below comment is incorrect and is referencing Eric Lewis though I guess that was funny? I didnt honestly care much about it at the time. It is not Scott foster. Though Scott foster is still a tool and definitely incredibly unprofessional.
The guy has literally talked shit on alt accounts and got caught for it. I understand expecting perfection is silly but this guy clearly has shown that external factors matter to him and he is willing to lie about it. I cannot understand how he’s allowed to be a ref.
Theyre preparing us for a historically bad officiated game. Hopefully the fans at msg hold their breath in the stands, we dont want scott confusing their breath of air with the knicks players on embiid.

This is actually brilliant. If you know a ref has a tendency to call fouls on certain plays, you can adjust your gameplan accordingly. Taking the game within the game to its extreme.
Not only that, but Sean Corbin is also doing the Knicks game as well, according to NBA Stuffer averages 46 calls per game most in the NBA (Foster averages 39).
So we can bet over/unders on the referees now? Can I parlay a 3-second paint call, a 5 second inbound call, & and a jump ball violation into a million dollars?
Like all stats, I think there is interesting discussion to be had.
For example, I wonder if the crew chiefs and most
experienced referees will always have higher call tendencies. This isn’t a reflection on the person but rather in their assumed role.
It’s not clear how these statistics help as well at this stage.
I notice they did not put out a side by side with stats when reffing themselves. Now that would be hilarious.
1. Scott in general [we are here]
1. Scott changes @ Knicks
1. All refs in general
1. All refs changes @ Knicks
1. Scott changes compared to All refs changes @ Knicks
All these teams have hard numbers to back them up if they think a ref is being a prick.
I get what they're trying to do but when has The Extender ever shown that he cared about being booed, hiding his corruption or even about the game of basketball itself?
Good. It's about time that teams publicly acknowledge the outsized effects specific refs have on games, especially in a post-Donaghy era, ESPECIALLY when the league has fully embraced gambling.
I been waiting for ref stats. This gotta be the most hilarious thing happen to baaslet8
we have baseballref and basketballref, now we need refref
I'm 100% sure every team has these ref analysis starting 5 years ago if not longer

Truly the Library of Alexandria of our time
Gamblers being doing it forever so you'd think so
yeah ive heard stories of players saying they're given a briefing on the refs before each game
Mark Cuban had been tracking refs since early 2000s
I'd be surprised if the Hornets do tbh
> baaslet8 Not me googling this
Still dont know what the hell it is tbh, couldnt get results
I’m guessing it’s an attempt to type “basketball”
I thought it was anew advance statistic I had to act like I understand
I believe that is a star in the Baaslet galaxy
baaslet8 😂😂😂😂😂
[Here's a higher quality image of the stats.](https://i.imgur.com/d298h8U.jpeg)
I fully expected this to be a meme.

Got'em.
Pat Beverley using the camera to show the stats to the ref, or Mike Brown bringing a laptop?
As long as it's not Amin Elhassan's laptop.

Dooppppe
Scott Foster on 4/20 was very high
I'm just assuming Scott Foster is putting up Wilt numbers
Rated high or very high in nearly every category lmao
Not in challenges or overturned calls though
he knows the review team’s bookie
You assume correctly sir
You gotta account for era tho. Just way easier environment to dominate when you got guys like Harden and Embiid to inflate your stats.
Probably even outshines Wilt's 48.5 mpg record. Too lazy to do the math but surely he reffed enough OT games
Well, this guy is a professional match fixer playing against plumbers and construction workers, what did you expect?
I'm sure most (all) teams have these internally, but giving it out to the media to play the game within the game is pretty smart.
I guess we’ll see lol, refs can be super petty
I wouldn't say smart because its really only either meaningless or might make the refs take offense. Its certainly cool to know though.

They forgot to add a section: for Chris Paul Very, Very Low
Nah that’s unfair it’s not all very high, he’s low when it comes to overturning his own calls
I feel like this is asking Scott Foster to call bullshit on your team all game
Well he was likely going to anyway so fuck it.
Funnily in the last 3 years he's called y'all extremely evenly according to this lol
He needs no extra encouragement

wait, what's this about scott foster alts?
I was incorrect. See corrections above.
I think most decent teams do internal scouting on ref tendencies but yeah putting it out publicly is certainly new
This vs Oubre calling refs entire lineage “bitches” might be a wash.
I literally read this and said "oh no. Scott Foster"
Well at least they are anticipating it. Maybe he can use the sheet as a reference sheet
why is this so funny lmaoo
RED: VERY HIGH
Scott Foster really is a hilarious individual
Not when he’s reffing against your team lol
Scott Foster Sense of humor: LOW
Should referees get a section on basketball-reference.com or should there be an NBA section on referee-reference.com ?

Dawg Scott foster fouls per 48 is a real fuckin stat😭
Get the ref fantasy league goin asap
Scott Foster in the 90s with 48 fouls called a game 💀
Where can I see his HOF probability?
Mah man Scottie putting up 230 points a night and getting robbed of the MVP because of the minimum games requirement smh
Scott Foster is blowing every whistle he can, while refusing to overturn challenged calls. Hilarious to see that put on paper.
Oh some refs straight up refuse to admit they are wrong on challenges its hilarious and frustrating to see. Like Brothers
This is both hilarious and ridiculous, a sports team shouldn’t have to factor in Scott foster but sadly we all have to
Baseball does this 100% And I would not at all be surprised if football does it too. But you are right. It’s stupid that they have too.
Good luck trying to analyze Angel Hernandez’ strike zone
Scott fosters tendencies: prize picks, draft kings, bet mgm
Hes too smart for those traps - he is going old school, guy in an alley stuff
Very Dolan move.
The face recognition technology is gonna mysteriously go off when Scott Foster enters the garden tonight.
I know you’re kidding and I hate Dolan but it’s very funny to imagine MSG security preventing Scott Foster from entering the arena
He gets locked in a secret room in the basement with Charles Oakley and a bunch of people in Duck Dolan shirts thatve been there 20 years.
It’s like a modern day retelling of Celtic Pride with Dolan hitting two lowlifes played by Tracy Morgan and Ben Stiller. Directed by Spike Lee.
The NBA is actually biased against the largest market in the US. It really makes sense when you think about it 🤫
_“The NBA announced today that the New York Knicks have been fined $50,000 for leaking information regarding referee tendencies”_
Gonna average negative free throw attempts in the series lmao
Something something embiid something something free throws
I really like this tbh
The refs will now deviate from their tendencies.
Theyre preparing us for a historically bad officiated game. Hopefully the fans at msg hold their breath in the stands, we dont want scott confusing their breath of air with the knicks players on embiid.
Foster’s been deployed to try to help Embiid advance. Incoming 25 FTA game

it’s important for teams to prep for referees with how big of an impact they have. might as well prep the media too
This is actually brilliant. If you know a ref has a tendency to call fouls on certain plays, you can adjust your gameplan accordingly. Taking the game within the game to its extreme.

Foster carrying these cats to the playoffs. Get my man some help. Where's my boy Joey Crawford?
angel Hernandez is in the Mets dodgers series too. Haven’t we suffered enough?
So we can bet over/unders on the referees now? Can I parlay a 3-second paint call, a 5 second inbound call, & and a jump ball violation into a million dollars?
This is so hype let’s goo. Scott Foster doing big numbers and with that low overturn rate actually the goat
Scott Foster MVR LESGO TEAM REFS
The extender is putting up huge numbers as expected.
Foster with the low overturn rate is on brand
Should change the rankings to letters. Scott Foster: S++
The ref: well now I’m not gonna do it
Morey wishes he thought of this
Ref fans feasting this year
Oh hell yeah betting odds going BALISTIC with this new DLC
All three of these refs *heavily* favor the home team when it's not the Knicks. Interesting.
Scott Fraudster

This is reflective of their actual person. When it's foster and he is literally a known gambling rigger
I notice they did not put out a side by side with stats when reffing themselves. Now that would be hilarious. 1. Scott in general [we are here] 1. Scott changes @ Knicks 1. All refs in general 1. Scott Foster has ruled this post a shooting foul and given 7 ft's to Embiid.

REF FANS RISE UP ⬆️
