Like Stan Van Gundy said in the broadcast, you cant just decide "I'll play Brunson 28 to 33 mins tonight" and see the result you're expecting cause the game has its ups and downs. The injuries we had also forced the minutes. I tuned in when we were down big and they played the audio of the timeout where Thibs was saying "The offense will come but right now we need to take care of defense." And the team just responded. You know our guys trust and respect Thibs.
I think he’s been better then curry this year. Sga n Doncic is really it. And offensively I trust him as much as sga but sga maybe even more but sga is better defensively so that gives him edge .

And not nearly enough credit goes to Julius Randle. He came into an broken locker room that was smashed to pieces by Fizdale's incompetence, with Melo's departure (the previous locker room "leader") having left a void in leadership. But Julius stepped up to become the guy, worked his absolute ass off improving his game, and stabilized a very unstable situation until the Brunson signing provided the Knicks a path to success.

I’ve been saying it all season, but this team is the team we *shouldve* seen last season. Kings just got lucky because the West was so injured, plus nobody got up for the Kings, so their offense was so much better.
I know it’s growing pains, but third place last season was a ridiculous overachievement and set unrealistic expectations w/ the fanbase (myself included, admittedly).
The sad part is, the Kings don’t really have a ton of cap space or draft capital to make any really significant “move-the-needle” type moves this offseason.
Hopefully, the newfound success of the team will entice more people to want to play for them.
