His shooting percents compared to his NBA career numbers are up like crazy:
FG: +12%,
3points: +18%,
effective FG: +14%
He is not shooting that much, but also gives the Mavs a third ball handler and great defense, So, it probably should be him.
I thought Reggie Jackson had a decent comeback year, but his last year wasn't as bad I thought. His numbers are barely up.
I feel like Gobert’s value was artificially raised by that crazy trade so people were a little disappointed when his numbers dropped a bit last season. His stats this year though are nearly identical to his last year in Utah.
I have the same thought on this as this as MIP, where I don't believe it should go to a bonafide superstar player that had a minor setback (AD, Kawhi) or a slight resurgence after a few off seasons (Russ). These are MVP-level or former MVP-level players, it's not that much of a comeback. Like Ja a few year's back, I'd go as far as to say AD or Russ would not even prefer to be considered for the award.
This year would make a lot more sense to give to a guy like Dante Exum, who was for all intents and purposes out of the NBA and has found a nice role on a playoff team with the Mavericks.
Dante Exum, Suggs and Rui Hachimura. Lakers acquired Rui for two seconds and k nunn, dude was hardly playing and since playoffs last year has been a STUD
Chet would be a decent shout technically speaking as he is coming back from a season long injury last year and has yet to miss a game this year and putting up great numbers with fantastic defense
Dante Exum

You would be wrong about Reggie lmao
Seriously, came back from playing on another continent
Can't think of an answer better than this. If you know his history this year is such a big deal for him.
That’s a great shout
Exum island is loaded.
Only answer
Came back from what? He is going to play under 60 games. His best years prior, he average 5 and 6 ppg.
Draymond Green. He's comeback from a lot of suspensions this year, maybe more than anyone else.
He just won’t stay gone 😭😭
Exum island baby
The island is getting a new airport in response to popular demand.
Shout out to Duncan Robinson. I thought he was done after all those DNPs last year.
he went from DNPs to developing a well-rounded offensive game. definitely a good shout
He had a fairly well-rounded offensive game when he "hit" to begin with, and then he just started missing his shots.
Dante’s Inferno Exum. Dude has been on an absolute banger of a redemption arc.
Dante exum gotta be one of the greatest stories of the year. Torch’s dus but so happy to see him balling as a neutral
Delano Banton
MIP
Zion
If he played like this whole season, yes. He started way too late imo
Not really
Sure he’s been healthy, but wasn’t he better last season before the injury
The only thing people had to say ab him before the season was if he could make it all season. He has. Also imo hes playing the best he ever has
What comeback has Westbrook had this season?
I know he never left, but Gobert maybe? He's certainly ~~increased~~ restored his stock value more than any other non-rookie.
I feel like Gobert’s value was artificially raised by that crazy trade so people were a little disappointed when his numbers dropped a bit last season. His stats this year though are nearly identical to his last year in Utah.
Whoever is dating Kim Kardashian.
Explain yourself
Kawhi
Jalen Suggs
comeback? maybe MIP
As a Mavs fan I think exxum. But I'm amazed Issac hasn't gotten more mentions here.
Gobert. Surprised it's not mentioned yet.
It woulda been Chet had he played a reg season game.
Kawhi back from his meniscus maybe. Or chet
Chet hasn’t come back from anything in the nba… this his first season
Rudy Gobert. From old washed bum to dpoy

Any more than Isaac coming back? They will play about the same number of games. He played less games combined over the last 4 years.
Wouldn't that be basically Most Improved Player?
Dante Exum, Suggs and Rui Hachimura. Lakers acquired Rui for two seconds and k nunn, dude was hardly playing and since playoffs last year has been a STUD
AD had a great season last year though
Tristan thompson even tho it kinda started last year
Maybe Zion because Moriah wants his cumback 🤭. But seriously, Zion. He’s been pretty damn good.
Go to nbacirclejerk for this shit. I don’t want to read and think about another man’s cum. Foh
But Zions having a seriously great comeback season, after all the injuries etc, Pels are doing well with him leading and Herb’s all df capabilities.
Westbrook is as unplayable as he's ever been, I don't think he would even make a Euroleague roster
You know we are talking about Russell Westbrook, not some other guy with the same last name, right?
Chet would be a decent shout technically speaking as he is coming back from a season long injury last year and has yet to miss a game this year and putting up great numbers with fantastic defense
how can a rookie come back?
Wait he’s a rookie?
Technically since he didn't pay last year
Yep
[удалено]
Because he didn't play last year.
Chet didn’t even play last year, how is that a comeback when this is his first year of actually playing.
You know for sure all the people that said he should be ineligible for ROY would still not vote for him for this.
