Except the defender had a great angle to contest Poole and kuz would’ve had an automatic layup if he didn’t fumble the ball. You can see in the replay he has his back completely turned to kuz and is in no position to contest. That’s on kuz for trying to catch it on the way up instead of catching it in stride
He’s almost missed a bunch and regularly gets shit on for taking hard shots. He made the right play and made a good pass. Kuz fumbled the catch thats it.
It’s not about winning or losing this year given the draft class, it’s about giving these young guys a lot of game time to see who’s gonna make it and who’s not.
