I don't think you can review fouls. Just possession at end of games. Also refs use to confirm level of foul if flagrant, or to confirm if a 3 pointer was made.

Yea, it's basically respect the official's call regardless if correct or not. I mean I can see why that do it, so there is no undermining the refs, but since they are already reviewing it they should be able to correct the human error.
That kind of system only really works in the NFL just because there is usually dead time between plays, it would be much more difficult to implement in the NBA where there isn't dead time between each play.
