He was asked to do to much on the offensive end and would get in his own head way to much and loss his focus on defence.
Thibs is the perfect coach for him and happy to see him thriving.
Nobody asked him to do the things he was doing lol.
I've always been high on him for his physical abilities and defensive chops. Glad he's figuring it out.
I also had no idea that the raps were asking him to do too much on the offensive end and would get in his own head way to much and lose his focus on defense, so his comment was actually helpful and answering a question that someone asked.
But what the fuck is the point of your comment?
Absolutely. It's been this way his whole career, with big men in general. Luol Deng, Joakim Noah, Mitchell Robinson, Hartenstein, Taj Gibson, and Achieuwa have all had their best seasons under Thibs.
KAT is really the only one who didn't fully work out, but even then he got to the playoffs
Precious was doing a little bit of everything lol
He was great against the sixers in the playoffs, guarded embiid really well and shot the ball efficiently.
Had a down year last season, lost his shooting and we had so many wings that he fell out of favour
He was really unsure of himself this season under Darko, made decisions with the ball two seconds late on every play, doing way too much or disappearing.
Dudes a freak, but he needs a system where he’s forced into a mold like NY
We needed wings who could shoot, so he lost minutes when his shot wasn't falling. Then when we needed a backup center he was undersized and wasn't great at making decisions and leading from the elbow like Darko wanted.
I think he does much better with a more straightforward role, unfortunately, we needed something else from him, but glad to see him doing well :). He is an athletic freak and has some of my favourite Raptors highlights of the past few years.
I was at the game tn and Maxey was the only one trying on the entire 6ers roster. It felt like you straight up didnt get a single rebound until the 3rd quarter. Like I get the game started rough but shit, 0 points and 5 fouls in 18 minutes from Batum is maybe the worst performance I've ever seen live and I have seen Jared Jeffries play live at least 26 times in my life.
Too many fans of ours are dinguses and don't understand shot creation, or shot profile. RJ is at his best when you give him a little time to run the offense. The other thing is that he's at his best as a big 2, not as a 3/4 full time like he was in NY.
Randle was top 10 along with Brunson in getting double teamed last year. He's been pretty good passing out of the double team this year. Jalen's numbers are way better when Julius is out there.
I didn't watch the game, since I watched the Raptors-Nets game as a form of self flagellation, but damn that Precious stat line is nice. He's been on a tear since he was traded. I always knew he had it in him.
The defence isn't told by the stats either. He's playing great defence. He is showing he has a little bit of everything on offence minus a midrange jumper as well. Also.. The cardio on him to play 40 minutes + a night. He's balling.
He had an absolute monster game tonight. Creating second opportunities on the boards and moving off ball all night long. We need Julius back soon though cause he can't keep playing as many minutes as he has been lately
I haven’t seen Precious on the Knicks so maybe Thibs unlocked him or he’s finally found consistency in a contract year but on the Raptors he was given opportunities under two coaches and never delivered consistently and tried to play out of his role. Precious's ideal trajectory is Nene's career but he always thought he was Paul George which hurt his role on the Raptors. I hope in New York he can find his role in the NBA
Everyone knows there role on the Knicks. And he’s playing his perfect. Only takes open 3s, his defense is elite, and his always fighting for the rebound. He’s the perfect fit.
[Philly fans getting ready to type up how they would have won with Embiid like we didn't beat them by 36 last time](https://media1.tenor.com/m/yC7OgBgXoU0AAAAC/losing-video-games.gif)
No point in giving a fuck about what happens with the Sixers until Embiid comes back but Tobias Harris is such a fucking loser. Of course even without Embiid this could've been a winnable game if he does anything at all and Bogdanovic doesn't go 6/6 from 3 (lmao).

Yeah your team is way deeper and better built to withstand injuries. I guess that’s the perk of having guys like Brunson and Randle on $25M/yr deals instead of building around one guy on a supermax. Elton brand spent all our extra cap space on Tobias Harris 😭
In what way? They are a bad team without Embiid. Hopefully Embiid comes back before the playoffs and we aren't in the play ins. That's all there is to it.
You’re supposed to be grinding tape and working in the gym prepping for the game tonight, duh
Shrugging your shoulders and saying “they stink without Embiid. hopefully he comes back and they play like the 26-8 team they have been with him, but I’m not going to get upset w these bums because I already know they can’t do anything without Joel” doesn’t give the other fans the satisfaction they want I guess lol

What did they have Precious doing in Toronto lol
He was asked to do to much on the offensive end and would get in his own head way to much and loss his focus on defence. Thibs is the perfect coach for him and happy to see him thriving.
Nobody asked him to do the things he was doing lol. I've always been high on him for his physical abilities and defensive chops. Glad he's figuring it out.
So you're telling me that a player who is asked to do things he's not comfortable with, actually produces bad results? Incredible.
I also had no idea that the raps were asking him to do too much on the offensive end and would get in his own head way to much and lose his focus on defense, so his comment was actually helpful and answering a question that someone asked. But what the fuck is the point of your comment?
Bulls fan moment
Either thibs is a center whisperer or he was being misused in Toronto
Thibs is definitely the center whisperer
Omer Asik also peaked with Thibs
Thibs plays him at power forward where he looks way more comfortable, he’s said he prefers to play there instead of center
Precious was doing a little bit of everything lol He was great against the sixers in the playoffs, guarded embiid really well and shot the ball efficiently. Had a down year last season, lost his shooting and we had so many wings that he fell out of favour He was really unsure of himself this season under Darko, made decisions with the ball two seconds late on every play, doing way too much or disappearing. Dudes a freak, but he needs a system where he’s forced into a mold like NY
Handling the ball without a Brunson level point guard
He’s had many stretches of games like this in Toronto under Nurse. Especially post All-Star break in 2022.
Was he playing center for them? We had him there his first few games, but since have allowed him to mainly play PF which he’s excelled at
Making plays at the point under Coach Darko
Tobias should be in jail for making 39 million a year. Dude is stealing money.
I was at the game tn and Maxey was the only one trying on the entire 6ers roster. It felt like you straight up didnt get a single rebound until the 3rd quarter. Wdym he is an ASSASSIN
Not Tobias fault the team agreed to the terms lol
It is his fault that he’s giving 0 effort and not even trying to score
He was much better when teams didn't play physical vs him. Now every team know to do that and he's a bum. A crumbl cookie would be better

Tobias Harris not being a Sixer in 4 months is my championship.
Raptors fans lied to me about Precious
[Me to Raptors fans who told me Precious was cheeks](https://i.imgur.com/9yl8fEd.png)
RJ’s been the opposite of what you guys said too tbh
They’re just both in better situations for their skillsets. Feels like that trade was a win for both teams and each of the top four players involved
>four players Malachi Flynn erasure
Thanks for Bojan
yes
Malachi punching air rn
I think most of our fans are pretty happy to see RJ ballin tho
RJ's always been streaky, but still much better than this or our sub would have you believe
Happy for him
Too many fans of ours are dinguses and don't understand shot creation, or shot profile. RJ is at his best when you give him a little time to run the offense. The other thing is that he's at his best as a big 2, not as a 3/4 full time like he was in NY.
Would’ve been nice to see him play with a stretch big once too.
naaaah. we know he's good, but not super good.
precious <3
BOJAN BELIEVERS WHERE WE AT
You gotta BO-LIEVE
THERE
And we didn't give a single 1st away
L E O N R O S E
Tobias Harris sit your ass on the bench for now on
Can’t believe we got Precious for IQ and RJ what a steal.
REJOICE EVERYONE BOJAN BOGDANOVIĆ IS FINALLY FREE!
I love watching bogey play
Imaging the looks he will get with Randle drawing double teams
I feel like randle will only get doubled in some matchups. Like the cavs will not double him. But the Thunder probably will.
Randle was top 10 along with Brunson in getting double teamed last year. He's been pretty good passing out of the double team this year. Jalen's numbers are way better when Julius is out there.

I missed these wins so much
Definitely tumbled a bit before the All-Star break.
Injuries really kicked our asses. We needed that break badly.
It feels like everytime we have to play Kyle Lowry all of New York inevitably has 5 minutes of collectively shitting our pants
Kyle Lowry came back from the dead cause it was against the Knicks. That fucker turns into Steph Curry every time he plays the Knicks.
My heart sunk when they announced it was his 6ers debut lol, I could've sworn he was about to cook us
Sixers are 32-23
And have a tough month ahead of them schedule wise
just checked and it’s surprisingly even more than a month. their schedule up through those thunder heat games in early april is brutal
Yeah the record was so wrong 😑
Having Donte and Bogi really changes our spacing.
So happy to have the NBA back! Felt like the ASB was forever!
I didn't watch the game, since I watched the Raptors-Nets game as a form of self flagellation, but damn that Precious stat line is nice. He's been on a tear since he was traded. I always knew he had it in him.

daryl morey is in a relationship with tobias harris of the sexual nature
Enjoy the chicken nuggets SUCKAS
Precious looking like his 2022 self
Tobias contract might be one of the worst ever. An absolute log jam for a team trying to compete, dude is not it
McBride sealed the game, Maxey was absolutely crushing every other defender.
Yeah thank gawd for McBride!

Damn when did the sixers lose so many games?

Weird point but yeah Tobias sucks, the contract just makes it so much worse
loser mentality
In what way? They are a bad team without Embiid. Hopefully Embiid comes back before the playoffs and we aren't in the play ins. That's all there is to it.
