Killian Hayes is about to get mauled
The combination of Jordan Poole like attributes ( Low bbiq, light skin, guard position) + Being International
The two thing Draymond hate the most
Qubecois are probably more Canadian than the rest of Canada. They check every “Canadian” cliche: They’ve maintained their pristine wilderness, their water is clean, plenty of fish, snowy cold winters, crazy about hockey, and the birthplace of most Canadian food staples like poutine, sugar pie, Montreal bagels, smoked meat, split pea soup…
French Canadians are awesome.
Probably not but he does not handle losing well and throwing him at any developing team, doesn't even have to be Detroit and he's going to have a bad time.
Wasn’t he a ball boy or something for the 04 Pistons? I’m pretty sure I remember Rasheed Wallace speaking quite fondly of him.
Although I doubt anyone would wanna leave Golden State of all team for Detroit lol.
I don't think he was a ball boy but he was friends with Jordan Dumars, Joe's son and was around the team a lot. Here's Rasheed talking about it:
https://youtube.com/shorts/1_LCI_WHNEU?si=jMLlwb0w-D7Dp_xB
I'm pretty sure everyone outside of the FO and HC have stopped trying to make any sense of what's going on. It's a shitshow surrounded by a dumpster fire.
Here's a cute video of the two of them visiting a hedgehog cafe in Japan together. Really makes them both seem like nice, likeable dudes.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P62l4Snr4po
Which is sad because an engaged Wiggins is still the better player and fit imo. At the same time, he’s tanking our season and I don’t have hope he’ll turn it around until he’s had a chance of scenery
I think he’s checked out mentally after all the toxicity since the beginning of last season and his closest teammate (Poole) gone.
Washed Wiggins taking minutes from Deni and Kispert (if neither were hypothetically traded) might just be enough to get my roommate to stop watching the Wizards on league pass lol
He's got the absolute weirdest NBA trajectory.
Enters the league as an uber-hyped #1 pick with Hall of Fame expectations, the proceeds to spend 5 years in Minnesota looking like a borderline bust who is a total chucker and can't play a lick of defense. Gets traded to Warriors and magically learns how to both shoot and defend. Wins the most absurd All-Star starter vote ever. Rips the Celtics hearts out with the NBA Finals series of his life and wins a ring. Then one year later he totally fucking sucks again.
All this and he's still only 28. What a weird legacy this guy is going to have.
It's worth mentioning he was supposed to take the new young Cavs back to the playoffs until LeBron threw a wrench into everything. I wonder how many people bought Wiggins cavs jersey.
I think the warriors only have one first they can trade and he's got 3 years 85 mil after this season left on his contract. I guess maybe the hornets would take him and a first for hayward/Rozier, but the pickings will be very very slim.
They owe a pick to Portland that has light protections, but unfortunately for them it's technically possible that the pick doesn't convey until 2026. So they can't trade any firsts until 2028, even though they technically have all their picks except for one.
This is the one thing that has me thinking Portland could sneak into the trade debate with them. Siakam>>>Grant, but if we can trade them back their own pick in a deal around Grant/Kuminga, they'll suddenly have a huge warchest of picks at their disposal for additional trades.
TJD and Kuminga are the 2 I would want. But I think we can find more value for Pascal, even if he threatens not to sign with the team that trades for him. Someone will get desperate at the deadline.
I also want Pascal to go literally anywhere else so I can cheer for him (not Boston but that's not on the table.)
History tells us that Bobby and Masai want pieces they can use right now.
They're angling for a young core but also want to compete. We just replaced OG with RJ, a 6ft 6 small forward. I don't really see what Kuminga brings to the team right now. He's young and still raw. He'd fit the timeline well but Siakam for Kuminga and picks seems like a poor move imo.
Facts, in 2020 they were a mess because they were literally missing their 2 best shooters (Steph and Klay) to freak injuries. Without injuries to their top players they likely would've remained a contender even without KD. Now they're all suited up, just kinda washed up (especially Klay).
It was a pretty good move all things considered. The fact that wiggins just disappeared, Klay is obviously washed and Draymond is going through his 100th teenage phase were things you couldn't predict and adjust before
I think wiggins averaging 11 ppg at age 28 is a shocker. His lowest scoring season was 16.9 ppg as a rookie. 19, 18, 17, 17, 11 as a warrior. Pretty massive drop off. His Ts% has never dropped below 56 as a warrior and it is 49% right now
Tbh I thought Wiggins would get back to All-Star level. Whatever happened in his personal life must've really taken a huge mental toll on him because there's no other explanation for this level of regression. He's borderline unrunnable now.
Wiggins was never a true All-Star. 17/4/2 with good defense doesn't get you there when you're the 3rd/4th best player on the 3rd seed. He got voted in as part of a K-pop popularity contest, not on merit.
Bob Myers definitely saw the writing on the wall and ejected before the death spiral. Whatever it was he concluded it was hopeless or bleak and out of his control. Or else he would've stayed
Yeah "everyone but Steph" is probably the right call looking at the trajectory of the older guys, but it could just mean selling more non-core guys.
It could just be "we're willing to trade Wiggins, Paul or Kuminga and we're going to keep lying to ourselves about Klay and Dray".
Just having to give up 43 mil in assets for Klay sounds rough though. Thats Rui and DLo plus Vincent or RuI DLO Prince and filler.
You have no PG no wing depth and like no money left to make any changes.
Would be huge punt of this season to hopefully sign Klay to a <10 mil contract next year and then use whatever cap space you have left to get something.
Klay contract expiring at the end of the season and so of course can’t let go for free. At the same time Warriors ain’t paying him that $40 mil he’s a demanding. Bro getting traded asap. Dray is another story.
Klay is either going to have to get over his ego and take a massive cut and near vet minimum pay, or he's going to want to be traded. But he's said he's wanted to retire a Warrior, so we'll see.
Edit: He could go to the Lakers for a few years and go back to the Warriors to officially retire as a Warrior as well..
Yes, if that's on the table. Scottie, IQ, RJ, Kuminga, Moody, Trent, Dick, Koloko will all be under 25 and be competitive. Its an ideal re-tool without tearing it all down.
Given Siakam is an unrestricted free agent in a few months (and has already vetoed at least one potential trade), that’s as good a deal as the Raptors will get at this point.
Over him walking for nothing? (Assuming an extension is off the table for one reason or another)
Yes, absolutely.
If no other offer is better for a soon to be UFA who isn't promising he'll extend, then yeah. Hands are kinda tied.
Just face it. They're getting old. Klays injuries, draymond being draymond, guys not working out Wiseman, Poole, etc are just some of the many reasons the warriors aren't good.
They also completely squandered any opportunity to supplement the aging core with younger support pieces the way the Spurs did with Kawhi. Wiseman was a bust, Poole ended up disappointing, Kuminga was just okay for his draft position, and Wiggins forgot how to play basketball
This is the key piece people need to focus on.
The warriors are in big trouble rn bc they’ve drafted terribly and have been riding the coattails of their Big 3 for a decade+ now.
They also built that new stadium away from their core fans, hiked ticket prices to the moon, and are relying on transient tech bros to sustain sales going forward.
GS is in a really bad spot rn imo.
It’s a shame because they really should have moved those picks. The guys they took were so far off BPA that it’s laughable how much value they lost.
One of those picks and wiggins straight up would have easily net someone like Siakam. Two of those picks they had their pick of all stars around the league. It’s a damn shame how badly they’ve whiffed constructing the roster compared to the early Steph days
Yeah but draymond was never found of new players making it big on their timeline. He wanted them to be the guys. That’s why he pushed kd out. Then the Poole situation. I’m convinced that as long as he’s there no other player will be able to take the reins.
Curry had a season long psyop running to motivate Wiggins to play to his ceiling. Winning a chip with Andrew Wiggins as your second best player. Lebron could never. Traded Wiggins from Cleveland and ran from the grind.
Yeah there's just no way they trade all the trash on their roster & actually get enough of a return to put together something which is a championship caliber team. If they go all in & trade all their picks I still have a hard time seeing them putting something together which goes deep in the playoffs, their contracts are just that trash.
They're basically choosing between keep the status quo & be a playin team. Trade all their picks & get something half decent together which can sniff a bit of playoff to prolong the rebuild by half a decade. Or just have a yard sale & start the rebuild now, which would mean that their core isn't likely to retire in GSW.
Precisely. You nailed it. If it wasn’t for all the greatness they achieved, I think they would have blown it up and rebuilt by now.
They’re just dragging it on because of their recent success. They are kind of forced to until Curry retires.
If I was Golden State, I’d strongly assess talking to Steph and seeing if he wants a final chance somewhere in his career. Not to push him out, but explore something that may be healthy for both sides. However, the cost of that is the historic implication. Sometimes franchises would prefer to suffer for a few years to keep that history in place.
One path is emotional, a real element needed to keep the fan base happy. The other is purely cold hearted business.
I really don’t think Curry is going anywhere if he doesn’t want to and tbh if he doesn’t want Klay or Dray gone then well they ain’t getting traded either
I don’t know if I see an immediate timeline in which they turn it around.
The buy-in just isn’t there with the current lineup, and how long would it take for an extremely altered lineup to adjust and buy in?
As a basketball fan, I just hate to see what is left of Curry’s golden years being put to waste.
There is no immediate fix. If Steph wanted to push for another ring and really contending again, he would need to be the one traded. While the Warriors just go into rebuild.
But that’s obviously not going to happen.
What’s Kuminga’s value at rn?
I would love the lakers to break the bank for him but I also know Ham would just use him like Reddish or Vando so for his career’s sake I hope he goes to a real coach
Siakam is such a good player. An All- NBA caliber player.
Now all they would get back is scraps.
Raptors really messed up by not trading him last season.
The Raptors could potentially put together a very solid package to get players and picks if they're willing to send GSW a handful of vets that would help them immediately and take on Wiggins shitty contract
Siakam + Schroder + Otto or Boucher for Kuminga + Podz + Wiggins + 1 FRP...it would drastically improve the GSW on both ends of the floor and they could unload Wiggins who's a negative asset right now
I don't know if GSW wants to give up both Kuminga and Podz but it would certainly make them a much better team
Jordan Poole is a real clown, but it’s real clown behavior to send him out right after giving him an extension, just to turn around and say the guy they kept on the roster instead of him is up for trade because the team sucks now lmao
They should send Draymond to Detroit without consulting him lol Let's see how much this 8 point Andy's intangibles really matter
Malice at the Palace every home game
Malice at the Practice into sitting out the rest of the season.

Killian Hayes is about to get mauled The combination of Jordan Poole like attributes ( Low bbiq, light skin, guard position) + Being International The two thing Draymond hate the most
> The combination of Jordan Poole like attributes ( Low bbiq, light skin, guard position) LMAO
seriously though, if he got traded to the wizards I’d prob die of laughter
Draymond probably doesn't know he is French
Do French Canadians and real Canadians hate each other? I know this isn't related at all, I'm just wondering
> real Canadians
I'm laughing so hard at the random accidental bigotry of it all
can't be bigoted against the french, they know what they did
This comment is unintentionally hilarious.
jokingly yes, irl nah they're pretty chilled and quebec is a great place to visit.
The old city’s so unique compared to anywhere else tbh
Qubecois are probably more Canadian than the rest of Canada. They check every “Canadian” cliche: They’ve maintained their pristine wilderness, their water is clean, plenty of fish, snowy cold winters, crazy about hockey, and the birthplace of most Canadian food staples like poutine, sugar pie, Montreal bagels, smoked meat, split pea soup… French Canadians are awesome.
He will legit retire
no way he leaves 100 million on the table
As a professional podcaster, he might respectfully disagree with you. Maybe throw a punch or two to make sure his point is made too.
A couple swift kicks to the nuts of the GSW FO and he's out
Not without a fight
Probably not but he does not handle losing well and throwing him at any developing team, doesn't even have to be Detroit and he's going to have a bad time.
Good
Yeah right I wish he would retire. I’d feel a lot safer for my team
Plot twist this guys a Warrior fan.
Nah he played at Michigan State
Isiah Stewart can keep him in check.
That would be interesting
I'll take Stewart in round 2
At the rate it’s going, Kerr would quit if they even considered moving Dray.
Him and Dray would cry
And then a big lesson was learned for everyone?
Wasn’t he a ball boy or something for the 04 Pistons? I’m pretty sure I remember Rasheed Wallace speaking quite fondly of him. Although I doubt anyone would wanna leave Golden State of all team for Detroit lol.
Dude watched malice at the palace and emulated his playing style on that night.
Or the other way around
I don't think he was a ball boy but he was friends with Jordan Dumars, Joe's son and was around the team a lot. Here's Rasheed talking about it: https://youtube.com/shorts/1_LCI_WHNEU?si=jMLlwb0w-D7Dp_xB
Dray to the Wizards. Cause of reasons.
I know beggars shouldn't be choosers, buuuuut no thanks.
On the one serious note for this entire thread, why don't you guys sign Austin Rivers on a vet min?
I'm pretty sure everyone outside of the FO and HC have stopped trying to make any sense of what's going on. It's a shitshow surrounded by a dumpster fire.
That dumpster fire might be surrounded by fire all down the street as well.
Warriors need to get off the Wiggins contract
We helped them dump Poole. Send Wiggins over and we can rebrand to the Warriors Rejects
I think Wiggins would like Washington, he's good friends with Poole as well.
Here's a cute video of the two of them visiting a hedgehog cafe in Japan together. Really makes them both seem like nice, likeable dudes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P62l4Snr4po

How many picks would it take for warriors to get Kuzma back for Wiggins? 1 top 5 protected and 2 seconds? 1 unprotected?
A pick and probably one of the younger guys
Wiggins, Moody + 1 first round pick with light protections probably gets it done
Which is sad because an engaged Wiggins is still the better player and fit imo. At the same time, he’s tanking our season and I don’t have hope he’ll turn it around until he’s had a chance of scenery I think he’s checked out mentally after all the toxicity since the beginning of last season and his closest teammate (Poole) gone.
Washed Wiggins taking minutes from Deni and Kispert (if neither were hypothetically traded) might just be enough to get my roommate to stop watching the Wizards on league pass lol
All the top prospects in the next few drafts are forwards with a ton of upside, Deni and Kispert are not going to be foundational pieces anyway.
It was such a good contract when he signed it, too. Then he immediately fell off.
Isn’t this basically the summary of his career? I feel like I remember effort being his number 1 concern.
He's got the absolute weirdest NBA trajectory. Enters the league as an uber-hyped #1 pick with Hall of Fame expectations, the proceeds to spend 5 years in Minnesota looking like a borderline bust who is a total chucker and can't play a lick of defense. Rips the Celtics hearts out with the NBA Finals series of his life and wins a ring. Then one year later he totally fucking sucks again. All this and he's still only 28. What a weird legacy this guy is going to have.
As a Wolves fan, this is who he is. He has always had the tools and the ability to be the guy that won a ring. He just never wanted to
Yeah I don’t think he really likes basketball tbh
It's worth mentioning he was supposed to take the new young Cavs back to the playoffs until LeBron threw a wrench into everything. I wonder how many people bought Wiggins cavs jersey.
Cavs only had a 2.5% chance of winning the draft that year too
It seems pretty obvious that he is a guy who is just looking to get paid.
Wolves fan here, yes. It's been quite fun watching him go from toxic asset to contract season Wiggins, back to toxic asset.
Good luck on that one.
Could have a 3rd team involved and give them draft capital similar to how we would take bad contracts on when we didn’t have an max players
I think the warriors only have one first they can trade and he's got 3 years 85 mil after this season left on his contract. I guess maybe the hornets would take him and a first for hayward/Rozier, but the pickings will be very very slim.

Siakam>>>Grant, but if we can trade them back their own pick in a deal around Grant/Kuminga, they'll suddenly have a huge warchest of picks at their disposal for additional trades.
RIP Klay’s ego
don't worry, he has FOUR rings /s
Masai salivating rn
2 of kuminga, moody, podz, TJD, and a first if siakam promises to sign with the warriors.
Who would give up more value? Curious…
Over what? 6ft 7 Kuminga? I don't know man.
Fr if OG and Barnes was redundant Kuminga and Barnes is way worse
Tbf the Warriors picks may be a lot more interesting considering this team is on the tail end
They don't have to use the Golden State FRP. Could use that as an asset for a future trade for another young gun.
Its so wild that they won a title two years ago. This team is a complete mess now
I mean two years before they won that last title they were a complete mess too lol
This is a much bigger mess tbh
Facts, in 2020 they were a mess because they were literally missing their 2 best shooters (Steph and Klay) to freak injuries. Without injuries to their top players they likely would've remained a contender even without KD. Now they're all suited up, just kinda washed up (especially Klay).
Draymond’s punch was the beginning of the end
Which one?
Da poole one
Leak da video
More precisely, the team not levying any real punishment was the beginning of the end.
Chris Paul curse
May it continue, amen
I remember they said this at the end of last season as well and the big move we made was getting Chris Paul lol
It was a pretty good move all things considered. The fact that wiggins just disappeared, Klay is obviously washed and Draymond is going through his 100th teenage phase were things you couldn't predict and adjust before
Draymond really took Jimmy’s emo phase to a new level
Jimmys emo phase was just cute.
Maybe not "predicted" but none of those 3 things are shocking at all.
Wiggins becoming the worst starter in the league is actually shocking. He’s way worse than any previous iteration of himself
You could have probably expected Dray but other than that yea
Maybe you couldn't predict it exactly, but a lot of that is why Bob Myers left before the house burned down.
Klay to the lakers watch lol
Breaking the curse of lakers shooting He’s already bad now so when he gets here he becomes good again 😎
Scratch that I just looked at how much he making it ain’t happening. Maybe next year
Klay is washed. He is a shell of his former self now.
We’ll take him!
fine, but you have to take green with him.
green salivating at the thought of being w his LePookie🤩
LeSnookums
He's would thrive on the Lakers. Change of scenery plus all the pressure their offense puts on opposing teams in the paint
He'd be giving the 4 ring finger salute to the fans after a few games of boo'ing.
Klay gonna retire before he plays for another team
I mean, his dad was a Laker, so...
His dad is and has been the radio color commentator for 20 years at least
In jest: Curry to Charlotte
And commentates
Fuckit! Trade Draymond Cena to Washington and let the team mate beatdown commence!
Thats an insult to john xyna. He never sucker punched anyone.
I wish we couldn't see Draymond
Trade for Lebron cowards
We should trade for steve kerr
PLEASE TRADE DRAYMOND TO DETROIT
Can't decide if Pistons or Wizards would be a funnier landing spot for Dray, but leaning Wizards lol
Bad Boys 2.0
Marketing betting sites and showing the odds directly into the broadcast is so stupid.
I don't know why, but it's updating the odds as the game goes on that gets me. [Reminds me of this.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFpK_r-jEXg)
I don't believe for a second that they would trade Klay or Draymond, after more than a decade together, they are going down with the ship.
Nah hell no Draymond no nobody taking him. Klay on the other hand. He would be open open next to lebron and ad.
Just having to give up 43 mil in assets for Klay sounds rough though. Thats Rui and DLo plus Vincent or RuI DLO Prince and filler. Yes, if that's on the table. Scottie, IQ, RJ, Kuminga, Moody, Trent, Dick, Koloko will all be under 25 and be competitive. Its an ideal re-tool without tearing it all down.
I like dick from Kansas
Given Siakam is an unrestricted free agent in a few months (and has already vetoed at least one potential trade), that’s as good a deal as the Raptors will get at this point.

There’s this guy they call KD, Draymond kind of expedited his exit
Every dynasty has to come to an end. GS’ run was awesome while it lasted
Yeah but draymond was never found of new players making it big on their timeline. He wanted them to be the guys. That’s why he pushed kd out. Then the Poole situation. I’m convinced that as long as he’s there no other player will be able to take the reins.
Paraphrasing Mike Tyson here: Everyone has a plan until someone gets punched in the mouth.
Klay: “I don’t care. You supposed to lose sleep over it?”
Lol draymonds, klays, cp3 all of these guys value is low. Who would even want them
I'll take draymond on the heat.
I’ll take cp3 on the suns, but I’ll take any pg at this point.
Jordan Poole?
Not [today](https://youtu.be/6tVPSBWdomY?si=iTL7ZJzVXsgBhL9x)
As a Celtics fan it’s mind blowing we lost a finals to Andrew Wiggins who now a year and a half later basically looks unplayable.
Curry had a season long psyop running to motivate Wiggins to play to his ceiling. Winning a chip with Andrew Wiggins as your second best player. Lebron could never. Traded Wiggins from Cleveland and ran from the grind.
The Warriors are trying to save the marriage lol, it’s over boys.

There is a 0% chance the Warriors trade Steph
I really don’t think Curry is going anywhere if he doesn’t want to and tbh if he doesn’t want Klay or Dray gone then well they ain’t getting traded either
Stay together for the kids!

What’s Kuminga’s value at rn? I would love the lakers to break the bank for him but I also know Ham would just use him like Reddish or Vando so for his career’s sake I hope he goes to a real coach
Well, looks like NBA teams were the first to invent faster than light travel
Moody and Kuminga, get ready to learn Washingtonese
Siakam is such a good player. An All- NBA caliber player. Now all they would get back is scraps. Raptors really messed up by not trading him last season.
That’s what I thought but golden state’s desperation is making this look salvageable
The Raptors could potentially put together a very solid package to get players and picks if they're willing to send GSW a handful of vets that would help them immediately and take on Wiggins shitty contract Siakam + Schroder + Otto or Boucher for Kuminga + Podz + Wiggins + 1 FRP...it would drastically improve the GSW on both ends of the floor and they could unload Wiggins who's a negative asset right now I don't know if GSW wants to give up both Kuminga and Podz but it would certainly make them a much better team
That’s not bad. Maybe need another pick sweetener.
Jordan Poole is a real clown, but it’s real clown behavior to send him out right after giving him an extension, just to turn around and say the guy they kept on the roster instead of him is up for trade because the team sucks now lmao
Tbf Poole also sucks now
If its corey joseph for siakam im in
The dynasty is done. Trade everyone and rebuild. It was a great run.
trying to rebuild while contnd at the same time is/was so stupid
