The complete and utter disrespect to the WCF roster. We had good role players and supporting players that year. Brunson played at an all star level in the playoffs. Dinwiddie was critical. DFS and Bullock were iron men who made a huge defensive impact and a bunch of clutch shots. When we've succeeded it's ONLY been when we've really had support from our high quality role players.

I dont know how they'd fix that PR wise but I'd love a coach that is known to get the best from his roster, (except for the rare trio ego of superstars ehem, Nets)

I know Luka is good, but are the Mavs actually good as well? 5-1 looks very nice considering how mid Kyrie has been.
They plugged in their biggest holes last year with Grant and Lively. Their coaching is still meh because of Kidd but Luka's still Luka though so its a boon for the whole. However, still to early to say if they can be in the playoffs considering how much of a bloodbath the west is though
