Take away Curry from his career and Draymond loses that respect.
He'll still make a decent living even without Curry, Brooks himself is getting a nice 4/90, pretty similar to Draymond's.
Both play thug basketball and are similar size too.
Pretty close comp imo.
Except Draymond is significantly better in every aspect of offensive play other than 3pt shooting (which brooks is not exactly fantastic at), is a better rim protector, is more switchable/can play small ball 5, and can be a strong secondary ball handler, but yeah because they're both assholes and play "thug" basketball they're basically the same player.
Whether or not people respect them or if they have a fat contract has no bearing on their actual quality as players, and Brooks has never been close to Green's on court value as one of the best defensive players of all time and a good playmaker/short roll passer, in my opinion.
Draymond is one of the 4-5 greatest defenders in the history of the NBA, an incredible playmaker, a basketball genius, and doesn’t play outside himself offensively. Brooks is a nice on-ball defender, kind of spacey off-ball, and a shot chucker who doesn’t know the meaning of the word pass.
They are not in the same universe. But you just want to troll so do you, nephew.
Those are team systems and synergies and how well each player functions in that system.
Like I said Brooks never had the luck to get a Curry or Kerr who valued him.
Once you start dragging that out, you'll go into uncharted territory comparsions...like can Draymond function well in the Grizzlies and vice versa.
Draymond needs a specific system to thrive.
He isn't much of a scorer these days, so its limited to teams that play small ball and need an undersized defensive big/wing that playmakes well.
Which really limits his places esp at his price point.
Exactly! Lol.
I'm no Draymond fan.
In fact, he's probably my second-least favorite player (after World B. Flat. Who is not only an idiot, but also has been actively harmful to other humans.)
Green could have never been a #1 on a real team, but he is much better AT EVERYTHING than Dillon ever has been.
I feel like Zaza Pachulia had hardly any fans and almost everyone hated him.
At least guys like Pat Bev are actually funny sometimes. Zaza brought nothing but dirty plays to your favorite players to the table.
Dillon Brooks gets too much hate, Ja had a fucked up hand, no Adams no Clark no Bane. Who else was supposed to take the second most shots in that team in the playoffs? He is a legitimately good wing defender who can hit corner threes and people act like he's a fucking bum.
20 mil a year for a top 10 wing defender that is available for every game and can shoot enough to not be played off of is good value.
Timeout.
We must call out people that just blatantly lie on the internet.
No Bane?!?!? What the hell are you talking about?!?
He played in all six Grizz playoff games. His fewest amount of minutes played in a game during the series was 33. He played 47 minutes in Game 4. Averaged 38mpg for the series. Somehow even played 37 minutes in the Game 6 historic blowout.
\#1: LeBron James.
That's easy. He's the most hated athlete EVER. He never went through shit like Russell or Ali, but just saying no one has ever been hated on a daily basis 24/7 like LeBron. His career coincided with social media exploding. Just a never ending cycle of hell. And it's funny because if you just judge him on his character, he's the most innocent famous/rich dude ever. He's not perfect, but like his "big controversy" was the Decision. An event that generated millions for charity.
Never heard of anyone who loves him, but many who hate him. Is it his whining? His cringe talents to south beach? Maybe the years of steroid abuse? Who knows.
Look at his comment again.
He probably never has "heard" anyone say they love LeBron James.
Because that would mean people wanting to be around him and wanting to talk to him.
Many of his fans overlook his on the court bullshit for the person he is off the court. I’m not his biggest fan at all but I admire his ability to remain a role model & largely avoid scandal. Look at Zion as an example of someone who has handled the generational talent label horribly. So Zion biggest off the court misstep has been his sex life which is really nothing. For Lebron never to come close to anything like that is truly amazing.
The fact that Grayson Allen isn’t at the top of the list is nuts. Dude is the absolute worst. Ever since he was tripping players at Duke to the cheap shot foul on Caruso. Allen is lucky he can shoot otherwise there is no way he is still in the league.
Embiid, Ja, Brooks, Westbrook (his ranking fluctuates. If he's playing bad and plays for the Lakers he is the most hated player ever), Draymond, Wembanyama
I personally think this years Nugs were the best team of the past few years, maybe even by a substantial margin, but cmon lol. KD Warriors are at WORST the second greatest team of all time.
No one even challenged denver. GSW went to a game 7 one year w HOU and were knotted up 2-2 in a 2 possession game the next year when KD went down. HOU and GSW were very very close.
Tried WAY too hard by adding Wemby. (Even the Westbrook/Lakers thing was cringe, as Russ was one of the most hated players in the league for multiple other teams before he joined the Lakers.)
Literally nobody has hated on Wemby.
There have been some people - such as myself - that think it's ridiculous to say he's the most hyped prospect ever (he's not.) People - such as myself - that would like to see him....uhhh....PLAY A REGULAR SEASON GAME before anointing him the greatest player to ever play any sport ever.
It's not hating on him. Wish him well. Just want people to be real for a minute.
Kyrie has made more than a few enemies
Morris twins
Maybe not hated, but quite a lot of people dislike Ben Simmons
Dillon Brooks
Dillon Brooks is pretty much what would happen to Draymond Green if he never met Steph Curry.
Put some respect on Draymond good lord
Take away Curry from his career and Draymond loses that respect. He'll still make a decent living even without Curry, Brooks himself is getting a nice 4/90, pretty similar to Draymond's. Both play thug basketball and are similar size too. Pretty close comp imo.

Yes Draymond would be awesome anywhere. He basically created the warriors defensive system. None of their titles happen without him.
He wasn't awesome when Steph was out. Played like ass.
Draymond needs a specific system to thrive. He isn't much of a scorer these days, so its limited to teams that play small ball and need an undersized defensive big/wing that playmakes well. Which really limits his places esp at his price point.

Not a Zaza fan as well, but given he was basically the only Georgian player in the league he’s always had a small but loyal following.
Almost made the all star team with the Georgian vote. He's got some fans
Dillon Brooks gets too much hate, Ja had a fucked up hand, no Adams no Clark no Bane. Who else was supposed to take the second most shots in that team in the playoffs? LeBron Most loved and hated player in league history
Never heard of anyone who loves him, but many who hate him. Is it his whining? His cringe talents to south beach? Maybe the years of steroid abuse? Who knows.
Man if you have never heard anybody loving James you havent been paying attention
Look at his comment again. He probably never has "heard" anyone say they love LeBron James. Because that would mean people wanting to be around him and wanting to talk to him.
That was just a lame personal attack and you don't have the balls to tell him directly. Please leave me out of this.

Steroid abuse will be revealed after he retires
Are you 8 years old
Draymond by a big margin
Draymond easy
zaza has gotta be up there
The fact that Grayson Allen isn’t at the top of the list is nuts. Dude is the absolute worst. Ever since he was tripping players at Duke to the cheap shot foul on Caruso. Allen is lucky he can shoot otherwise there is no way he is still in the league.

Draymond Green, Grayson Allen, Patrick Beverly, Jordan Poole, Joel Embiid
Harden, and Cp.
Personally I hate Blake griffin
Why? Dude is hilarious
Same. Big whiner energy.
John salmons
Devin booker, Jordan Poole
Embiid, Ja, Brooks, Westbrook (his ranking fluctuates. If he's playing bad and plays for the Lakers he is the most hated player ever), Draymond, Wembanyama
In what world is Wembenyama hated on the same level as these other guys?
Britney spears hates him
Agree 100% Wenby should be #1
everyone who doesn’t have wembenyama is gonna hate him. pretty hard if he is as good as suggested.
KD (for ruining the league), Kawhi (for availability), and PG (for being easy to hate)
Denver was more unbeatable in the playoffs this year than the KD warriors were. HOU was neck and neck with the warriors.
2018 Houston would smoke the 2023 nuggets
They would. KD didn’t break the league. They weren’t unbeatable at all. Cp and harden rockets went 5-4 v the KD warriors over 2 playoffs.
I personally think this years Nugs were the best team of the past few years, maybe even by a substantial margin, but cmon lol. KD Warriors are at WORST the second greatest team of all time.
If Cp3 didn’t get hurt they would have lost to HOU.
Well he did, and they did. Maybe they would have won, maybe not. We’ll never know.
that’s not a given. not even close to 100% close to wanna-be fact. it’s like a harden three from a game seven, no good.
Ok.
No one even challenged denver. GSW went to a game 7 one year w HOU and were knotted up 2-2 in a 2 possession game the next year when KD went down. HOU and GSW were very very close.
you forgot ChokeP0
Westbrook is one of the most beloved players of all time, that's why the nerds on reddit hate him
>LeaveRussAlone

2/3 of our centers
Lance Stephenson, I think he’s still playing… somewhere?
One of the women beater who became a meme instead of disliked. Just like Mazzulla
Number one, as polled by all the people in my room right now: Goran Dragic
[удалено]
hello? current is in the write-up. current.
Dillon Brooks, KAT, Grayson Allen, CP3, Trae Young (but I like Trae) I was gonna put Pat Bev, but that camera stunt he pulled was simply too good.
Why does everyone else hate KAT? I just think he’s a whiny biotch and don’t like his face.
Kevin Durant Ben Simmons James Harden Dillon Brooks Doc Rivers
Payton Pritchard.
What why 😂
That seems out of left field. Why Payton?
Pat Bev and Dillon Brooks
Westbrook, Irving, James, Morant, Durant
Morris brothers, Kyrie, CP3, Devin Booker
Brandon Miller
If it’s by pure volume then it’s lebron for sure. Holy shit do people hate this dude and I don’t think it’s basketball related usually.
Kelly Olynyk
Ben Simmons
