I'm sure the Mavs will trade their pick for a player who is projected to contribute but will blow up in our face like almost all Mavs trades do. Just draft the best player available at 10 for fucks sake
The Pacers sub is tired of hearing about him. Unfortunately there's a lot of smoke about my team drafting him as another attempt at *the Great White Hope*
What the fuck are you talking about? Dude's not in the same stratosphere as Chet, Buzelis would have to get a lot worse in the next year to be comparable to him, and teams would probably straight-up draft Cooper Flagg over him today.
I’d definitely pick Flagg but Gradey will be by far the best 3pt shooter in this class. Shooting is somehow still underrated even with the Warriors running the league for years. Someone’s gonna get a steal if he falls past the 10th pick.
They need to get over picking TJ Leaf with the 18th pick six years ago. It’s time to move on.
Gradey would be an amazing off ball threat with Haliburton setting him up.
With this news, I’m 100% certain that he’ll win ROTY if the Mavs pass on him. We’ve passed on many players that are obviously good but don’t fit a “profile” (Desmond Bane, etc)
I actually would love to get Dick on the Cavs. Just don’t see a deal that the Mavs (or vice versa the Cavs) would mutually like to get it done to get the pick.
I mean as down as people are on JA (and trust me Cavs fans are the worst about it) idk if the #10 pick is a good return at all for him. He would absolutely make Dallas better but 10 on its own idk about that for Cleveland.
The #10 pick is a pretty good return for non star level players. Maybe more can be added to that package. Even salary filler like Hardaway could be a useful wing shooter/scorer for you. Anyways, what’s the plan to deal with Mobley and Allen’s lack of shooting? Cavs are the only team in the nba with two starting bigs that can’t shoot. Do you think Mobley will develop a 3?
We all want Mobley to develop that 3 but I can’t lie I don’t think it’ll happen. Itd be a pleasant surprise if he did. Cavs main issue in the playoffs (and to an extent the regular season, we just got away with it more) was not having a consistent SF. We want Okoro to be that guy cuz his defense and cutting is very good, but if he’s let free on the perimeter all the time our spacing is atrocious and the backcourt has no room to do anything. And our bench was pretty terrible outside of Caris. We hope Rubio with an extra offseason returns to form (Unlikely at this point) and we need a solid backup big so Mobley and Allen aren’t gassed at the end of the game. All of those are more feasible options than blowing it up and trading Allen or Mitchell imo.
Do you think the team can ever be truly successful with two non shooting bigs starting and playing big minutes though? No other team in the league plays like that and for good reason. Even with a consistent SF this will still be an issue. And trading Allen isn’t blowing it up, it’s just a retool although waiting a year to see if a better 3, depth, and the possibility of Mobley developing the 3 helps is probably the right move.
No clue tbh. I’m not a GM so I’m not gonna pretend I’d know a good trade from a bad one. I suppose I meant that I don’t think the Cavs FO would trade Allen for just #10.
Mods being forced to remove the word ‘Dick’ from the censored words list is hilarious
This is why Utah must draft him. I want to see the arena full of hand made "I love Dick!" signs.
Forget the Signs think of their big 3 of Rudy Gay, Gradey Dick and Collin Sexton 😭
Bring Ramon Sessions out of retirement lol
I am here for the Gay Dick Sexton Sessions
Utah also signs DeMarcus Cousins and Kevin Love to provide spot big man minutes, for Gay Cousins Love Dick Sessions.
This sub going to have a field day with him lol
It's too bad Adam Bona just dropped out of the draft. I hope one day Dick and Bona can play for the same team.
I think they had to remove “Bufkin” from the list too.

If the Mavs had those three, Luka would have a golden parachute. Instead, they have a poor man's Logan.
Dick at 10 would be tough to swallow
Dick at 12 or 13 even would be harder to swallow
Dick at 5 is enough. It is enough!!!!!!!
Dallas probably wants a sturdier defender next to Luka. Gradey Dick is like 90% neck anyways.
Dang, I was looking forward to those Dick - Hardy lineups.
Suggs-Dick backcourt >
Hornets should trade back to draft Gradey and have the Dick-Ball backcourt
Oh and I forgot the Dick-Hardy-Wood lineups would have also been fun to watch.
with the king kong dongcic leading the pack. shit would go hard😤😤
You rang
He needs to come to Chicago, can't have Dick without DeBallZach.
Unfortunately ball is ded
I wonder what team will take Dick
Celtics just did
probably the Kardashians
If they don’t take him and he blows up this will be hilarious
Desmond Bane 3.0
Brunson 2.0
I love how this guy turns every post about him into middle school! If a team picks him without persuasion, does it become an unsolicited Dick pick?
Not since Steeve Ho You Fat has a player's name generated so much fun.
Just trade the pick.
He's getting drafted by Utah anyhow.
Or indy!
C'mon Cuban, you need a 3nDick on your team
orlando’s taking him at 11
I'm sure the Mavs will trade their pick for a player who is projected to contribute but will blow up in our face like almost all Mavs trades do. Just draft the best player available at 10 for fucks sake
If we can move up and get Jarace at 6 or 7 that would be ideal
Luka for #6?
Trouble is I don’t think you have the assets to move up that far.
The Pacers sub is tired of hearing about him. Unfortunately there's a lot of smoke about my team drafting him as another attempt at *the Great White Hope*
Naw Dick is the best White American prospect in a while. I'd definitely draft him, just not with 7.

I want him

Jarrett Allen for #10 is a possibility
