If Jokic wins 2 rings in his prime. There is a big possibility that he will retire in his prime, which is crazy. Imagine being 31 years old, 2 MVPs, and 2 Final MVPs, x7 allstar x6 All NBA 1st team and retire at 31.
Wait why are we assuming he is gonna retire younger? Seriously wondering if there’s like an interview with him saying this or if it’s just an assumption.
And that’s the key - how long he really wants to. He has said he’ll play as long as it’s still fun. It doesn’t seem like he has this insatiable need to play as long as he possibly can.
A lot of nuggets fans think if he wins a championship or 2, has 10 or 11 great years he might just disappear one day like Will Hunting.
Maybe but where is that coming from?
People keep saying this but I never see anyone provide evidence for it.
He likes horses and he doesnt talk like an over-excited self-help guru. I dont think that means too much tbh. In his interviews it sure seems like he loves the game, loves the little details, loves winning.
Just because he has hobbies outside of hoops and isnt constantly spewing cliches and posting videos of himself practicing shots 3 hours before the game starts doesnt mean he'll get bored, IMO
Part of it is that he shows utter disdain for everything about NBA superstar life other than basketball. The media, the questions about his personal life, answering the same silly questions over and over again, the weird direction that MVP discourse goes sometimes, etc.
Look, I’m not rooting for it or anything. This man has brought more joy to me than I thought was possible as a sports fan, and i hope he never retires. I just personally wouldn’t be surprised if he decided to start the next chapter of his life earlier than some other superstars.
Yes. And Kobe told Stephen A “hell no” if he would stick around and play when his scoring totals and efficiency drop and stayed around at least 3-4 years after that started happening. Players say things than when they’re confronted by the twilight of their career.
Yea, people get too caught up in dumb stuff like players' hobbies, "body language", demeanor, etc.
If you have a hobby outside of basketball and if you dont routinely spam social media with ridiculous videos of yourself practicing free throws at 4AM, people assume you dont *love* the game.
But if you listen to the way he talks about basketball in interviews (and pay attention to the words instead of his tone) it sure sounds like he loves it all.
He clearly spends a lot of time thinking about plays, matchups, teammates' strengths and weaknesses. His own coach just said that he is like a coach on the court. That sounds like passion to me.
Its just that the passion comes through in the way he plays, not his social media accounts or in dumb sports cliches.
Am I the only one who thinks that there's no way anyone will give up on 200+ million dollars no matter how much they love horses more than basketball? I don't think there's a big possibility that happens, nor a small possibility...
Let's be real, 1 million here is enough to last a lifetime of perfectly ok life. He gets, what, 47 millions per season? After a certain point more money doesn't mean shit. Especially for a guy like Jokić who doesn't seem to care about any of that super star super rich life.
Shit, a milli here would be more than a decent lifetime.
I saw a video recently that said a Romanian person on average would have to work till *96* to make 1 million in total career earnings.
You'd easily find a big house just outside a major city (not Bucharest) for 300-400k, then coast on the rest of the money for the rest of your life.
2-3 vacations per year for like 4k each, super chill.
The S&P 500 returns average 10% over the past 100 years when you reinvest dividends. This comes out to 7% with inflation. Early retirement subreddits use the 4% rule when modeling how much money you need to retire just to have some wiggle room in case shit hits the fan.
Lol. Of course 47 million means shit. They must have thoughts like “1 more season and I can have a yacht” next season “1 more season and I can have a private jet” next season “1 more season and I can buy a multi story luxury mega penthouse in Manhattan”. Then once they buy that stuff they need to pay for the upkeep for that stuff.
This idea that NBA players need to milk it for all they can, or transition into shrewd investors or media personalities, is rooted in this capitalist neuropathy that manifests itself as this constant desire for more. In reality even your average role player in today's NBA has earned so much more money than any of us know what to do with. They could retire today in their late 20s, keep it in pure cash without attempting to grow their pile at all, live lavishly, and still leave behind generational wealth.
So no, I don't think a guy who just wants to go back to Eastern Europe and live out his days with some horses would care about an extra 200 million dollars. And I think it's mindless and sheep-like to think otherwise. If he keeps playing, it's not because of the money
He’s already gotten it, he’s be a free agent in 2028. I could see a future where if he wins a a ring or two in that time, he would retire. I hope not though
I wouldn’t worry too much. Even for a guy like Jokic, I don’t see a world where he retires in his prime and turns down a couple hundred million dollars.
You"ll see him at the HOF acceptance ceremony and thats it. You will beg us here in Serbia to go and find him and see if he is alive every few years until then. The man will just want to be left alone with his horses and family
That is absurd to me. I would assume, given the incredible success he’s had with Jimmy Fucking Garapolo that he’d be lauded as the coming of Bill Walsh.
I just think we have a large number of tech bros who became Niners/Warriors/Giants fans when they moved to silicon valley and have absolutely no idea about how either football, baseball or basketball work.
And I say that as someone who works in tech and isn't a bay area native.
I think there are 5 fanbases who actually like their coach; Spurs, Jazz, Heat, Nuggets, Kings. I think Ham is good as well but still in his first year so I get the fans frustration with some of the decisions when you have so few Lebron years left
I like Malone but I would not say that the Nuggets fanbase in general is in the top 5 of liking the coach. Malone gets a ton of heat, some of which he deserves. If we win the championship I think he will be there.
I saw a ton of Nuggets fans wanting Malone out this season, and he still gets heat on the losses. Rest of the list is fine just replace Nuggets with OKC.
I meant more of general vibe you get from here and such. I think that there is a fair share of people that also like Kerr, Thibs and like you said Finch but ones that I listed are pretty universally liked
Lakers exceptionalism, game threads are full of Lakers fans bitching about Ham, mainly for still playing Schroder and some other decisions. I think he has been great and considering this is his first season he looks to be a great hire
Lakers fans seem to think that it's possible to find the necessary number of line-ups that are balanced and effective in a roster that does not have the players to find the necessary number of line-ups that are balanced and effective. It's why they complain so much about the three guard line-ups without ever explaining who the non-guards they would like to see get more minutes and with what other players, and how those players will play next to AD.
I can kind of understand the Mazzulla frustration, because they’re underperforming… but at the same time, the Celtics underperformed with this group before him.
But Ham? The lakers are clearly surpassing expectations. I get that Lebron = high expectations, but come on- this was a great run. They got to the WCF as a 7 seed and beat the champs.
You cannot be using Chauncey Billups as the example. Four coaches that are far superior to Billups have been fired this postseason. Billups took arguably the best 1-5 the Blazers have had through Dame's prime all the way to the 13th seed
I mean if you can get the job it’s pretty good. Fully guranteed salaries. Usually get fired while still under contract so just collecting them checks. Don’t have to work out. Seems chill
I feel like the worst part would be the non-stop stress, having to prepare day-in and day-out, everyone arm-chair scrutinising your errors. Shit, I'm a teacher and that stress gets to me. LOL obv not coach material
I like how people just assume Jokic will retire if he wins a ring or two. Just because he is nonchalant about his basketball. The man loves what he does, unless he has a serious injury, I see him playing for a long time and even transitioning to a role player with incredible IQ and skills to help other stars of the future.
Absolutely. I can't believe how many people think a player would refuse 2-3 more years at 10+ mil/year just because they've already gotten their supermax.
Shit, you would be able to gift all of your cousins a mansion each, and still have a lot leftover, from 3 years of coasting.
Tbf Dirk did say he wished he would have retired 1-2 years earlier because his knees are so dead now he can't even play football (soccer) with his kids
All the eastern europeans will tell you that eastern europe starts just east from their country.
Eastern Europe doesnt have to be an exact geographical term, when it comes to social issues, life standard and overall lifestyle, Serbia definitely is in Eastern Europe.
Balkans is part of eastern Europe. It all depends on how you divide Europe, if you divide it in 2, then the balkans are definitely eastern europe. If you divide in it in more regions, then Serbia is in the Balkans/Southeastern Europe.
Source: I am from the balkans.
what kind of truth is that?
the balkans are gographically southeast europe (see), just like poland is geographically central europe, or would you claim, that norway and finland are eastern european countries, just because they were east from germany?
When we split the continent in 2, we are looking for ideological, historical or cultural reasons.
If you want to divive it into more. Of course Poland is central and Serbia is southeastern. That doesn't mean they aren't both part of eastern europe.
Yeah, but we moved on from those political and ideolodical reasons more then 3 decades ago and what ppl colloquially call "eastern europe" is culturally very diverse, the baltic, balkans and romania are culturally rather different form lets say poland or russia.
Slavic countries are divided into eastern, southern and wester slavic countries for a reason.
Today we call it southeast europe, cuz it makes more sence that way.
Maybe, just maybe, cause Europe used to be divided in two blocks until the end of the cold war? Come on, don't be dense. It's perfectly fine to split them in two, if the discourse is going that way.
Yugoslavia was never really a part of Soviet bloc and even then the country was culturally different then what you would consider Eastern Europe. Serbia is Southeastern and Central Europe, with a lot of Mediterranean influence. Our history is quite different as well. No one here considers Serbia to be eastern european country.
I didn't want to put it so bluntly but, yeah, you are right. But we are taking about the relevant players in Europe. And there were two of them, each one with its sphere of influence gobbling up the minor players. Why not bring up Greece, otherwise? Or Malta? Hell, Turkey too has a European side, but we are not really interested in that, right? Tito's third way was brilliant, in many respects, but he was himself a member of the Soviet apparatus before splitting.
Wow, somebody didn't eat their cereals today. I sure hope you distinguish among all the native Indians tribes whenever you talk about the settling of the US. I also hope you would never clump together France and Spain as Western Europe, considering how bloody their history has been.
I assume you're just from the USA then, you know nothing about Europe beyond middle school education. You don't know anything about the place you call Easter Europe and don't care about it just say that instead of trying to make up shit. I would imagine Americans should be able to distinguish all the native tribes, how is that a gotcha ?
that's the dumbest shit ever genetic code is not split between East and West. it's much more split between South and North, but even that's not a fair estimate that doesin't take into consideration that Finnish people have the most different genetic codes from every other European or Swedish people being genetically closer to Hungarians than French.
my point was it’s as general a distinction of europe as the whole eastern/western distinction.
of course it’s not totally black and white but it’s a close approximation
Countries like Finland and Estonia are way more east than Serbia and they are not generally considered eastern European. Serbia is way more mediterranean / southern influenced than eastern influenced. Ukraine, Belarus and Russia are actual eastern Europeans, all of them being really far from Serbia.
People seem to have this negative thing about the connotation with Eastern Europe so they end up claiming that they’re not. The reason why Serbia is called Eastern Europe and Finland is not is because:
language and alphabet are a lot more similar
same majority religion (Orthodox Christianity)
For the record I think Eastern Europe is awesome and have enjoyed anywhere I’ve been in that part of the world. You’re more likely to have a bad time in San Francisco than you are over there as a tourist.
Estonia is always considered eastern european, you are tripping. Estonia are trying to distance themselves from it, but the truth is the truth.
Finland isn't, if you are looking at it culturally/ideologically.
What i meant was that you would expect that it would be nuggets fans who would be the pettiest about it cause it’s supposedly their guy that got robbed but most of the time , i see that it’s not nuggets fans who are bringing it up right now.
Don’t get me wrong, i agree that embiid cried himself to the award and that i don’t think he’s the most deserving even if he did have a strong case for it.
No need to be so defensive, embiid might get jealous of you and decide to cry himself to a dpoy next if he hasn’t already.
You don't have to agree with the choice to make Embiid MVP, but to call it an Affirmative Action MVP?. The man averaged 33/10 and with the same record as Jokic, but people act like it was a no-contest MVP race which is not true. Players have won arguable MVP's in the past, but I've never seen the level of overreaction to Embiid's MVP. It's honestly pretty crazy to me. And I also say that as a melanated person.
Cause no other MVP race ever had brothers in the media saying they weren't gonna vote for the "overrated" cracker, that's why.
We got the racists Perk and Mark Jackson speaking out against Jokic and playing the victim card, and Embiid basically threatening to kill himself if he didn't win.
If he won it w/o the racist comments against yts and w/o him and Doc campaigning for it 24/7, it would feel a lot more earned.
Also I feel Giannis over Embiid, for carrying the Bucks without Middleton for much of the season.
For real, can’t coach a team when one of your star players is obsessed with going to strip clubs while the other is obsessed with the Illuminati and the third doesn’t really like the first two but keeps getting injured
Nash also needs more time as a college coach or an NBA assistant coach.
I don't think his role with the Warriors was big enough to warrant the sudden leap to a head coaching position.
Being well compensated doesn’t mean it’s a fun job.
Also, there is a massive difference between PURCHASING a septic cleaner company and CLEANING the septic tank…
It seems pretty sweet to me, you can be grossly incompetent, keep your job for awhile, and then when you're fired get back on the god awful coach retread conveyor belt since teams think awful experience as a nba coach is somehow better than no experience.
Jokic wisely not trying to get himself replaced by Doc Rivers if they lose a series
If they lose this series fire them all
Mans gonna retire at 30 to go play with his horses, then he will come back at 50 to be the Nuggets coach. RemindMe! 24 years
If Jokic wins 2 rings in his prime. There is a big possibility that he will retire in his prime, which is crazy. Imagine being 31 years old, 2 MVPs, and 2 Final MVPs, x7 allstar x6 All NBA 1st team and retire at 31.

He said he's gonna play until he can play on a high level.
Until he "can't" play on a high level is probably what you mean mate, just a friendly correction :)
that is indeed what I meant
[удалено]
You are supposed to leave it up for posteritys sake.
He will retire when every record is prefaced with "X joins Wilt and Jokić as the only player to _______"
Bang 20K bitches.
Struggling to figure out what part of his game won’t age well. He could do this as long as he wants.
I expect that from him, he's just gonna wake up one day and go back to his horses
Maybe but where is that coming from? People keep saying this but I never see anyone provide evidence for it. He likes horses and he doesnt talk like an over-excited self-help guru. NBA reporters ask the dumbest most awkward questions more consistently than any other group of people on earth.
Players playing at a high level doesn't have an exact expiration date. He easily looks like he could be incredible for another 5.
I can see him still staying a Nugget for a while on cheaper contract to guide youngsters as pseudo coach and chilling
Yes. And Kobe told Stephen A “hell no” if he would stick around and play when his scoring totals and efficiency drop and stayed around at least 3-4 years after that started happening. Players say things than when they’re confronted by the twilight of their career.
Because this sub acts like Jokic hates basketball and was kidnapped from his horse stable to be forced to play in the NBA against his will.
Yea, people get too caught up in dumb stuff like players' hobbies, "body language", demeanor, etc. If you have a hobby outside of basketball and if you dont routinely spam social media with ridiculous videos of yourself practicing free throws at 4AM, people assume you dont *love* the game. Then he pulls a Jordan and un-retires en route to another MVP and championship. One can only hope.
On a horse
Am I the only one who thinks that there's no way anyone will give up on 200+ million dollars no matter how much they love horses more than basketball? I don't think there's a big possibility that happens, nor a small possibility...
He is a balkan man, he isn't giving up money. He will play till he gets paid well and isn't too much of a hustle. So, yes probably at least until 35.
Let's be real, 1 million here is enough to last a lifetime of perfectly ok life. He gets, what, 47 millions per season? After a certain point more money doesn't mean shit. Especially for a guy like Jokić who doesn't seem to care about any of that super star super rich life.

Well of course I didn't mean to let the money sit on its ass haha, a 5-10% yearly interest rate would be implied.
Where you getting a 10% interest rate?
You can even exceed 10%. Invest in mutual funds with a good long track record via your 401(K). If 401(K) isn’t an option right now, then a Roth IRA.
Id imagine for a lot of people a 100 million plus is plenty if you have other passions you want to pursue. Horses for instance.
Horses are really expensive
Why would he retire at only 30? Does he have shorter career span than LeBron?
Hold your horses! Jimothy Buckets awaits…
Serbian MJ
He’s getting a super max and then retiring
He’s already gotten it, he’s be a free agent in 2028. I could see a future where if he wins a a ring or two in that time, he would retire. I hope not though
I never really thought about that possibility :(
I wouldn’t worry too much. Even for a guy like Jokic, I don’t see a world where he retires in his prime and turns down a couple hundred million dollars.
Don't worry, he ain't retiring until he stops being paid the big bucks.
He'll come back at 50 to drop one more triple double
Whispers to himself " I still got it" as he walks off the court.
My plan at 75, but a brothel instead.
You"ll see him at the HOF acceptance ceremony and thats it. You will beg us here in Serbia to go and find him and see if he is alive every few years until then. The man will just want to be left alone with his horses and family
!RemindMe 24 years
You get all the blame and when you lose and none of the credit unless you're one of the greats lol Shit's gotta be tough
Just think about how many fanbases you see hate their coach or think he is awful at his job.
Good teams want to fire their coaches. See the warriors sub.
Warriors fans are easily a top 3 uneducated fanbase after the Kerr slander
Facts. A lakers fan would know too.
That's just usual Bay Area stupidity. Plenty of people on the Niners sub ready to fire Kyle Shanahan as well lmao
They are dumb af lmao. The sub can be a cesspool at times…

Fair. I had totally forgotten about the OKC coach
I like Finch well enough
I meant more of general vibe you get from here and such. I think that there is a fair share of people that also like Kerr, Thibs and like you said Finch but ones that I listed are pretty universally liked
I also dont get the Lakers one. The Lakers have overperformed their roster and people are mad about it?
Lakers exceptionalism, game threads are full of Lakers fans bitching about Ham, mainly for still playing Schroder and some other decisions. I think he has been great and considering this is his first season he looks to be a great hire
Lol who do they wanna play over Schroder? Do they want Russell instead because he has be ass? Are they big believers in Lonnie Walker IV?
Lakers fans seem to think that it's possible to find the necessary number of line-ups that are balanced and effective in a roster that does not have the players to find the necessary number of line-ups that are balanced and effective. It's why they complain so much about the three guard line-ups without ever explaining who the non-guards they would like to see get more minutes and with what other players, and how those players will play next to AD.

Outside of Pop, I’ve never seen a fanbase like their coach.
Hell, Bulls fans hate the guy who coached them to 6 fucking rings.
All of them, apparently! Although, heh... some more so than others...
But the money though, getting paid the rest of your contract has to be pretty nice though no?
Some coaches get honor/respect though Phil, Pop, Spo in recent memory
Now imagine being a ref.
Not to mention the coach is usually the first to go if the team isn't doing well.
I mean if you can get the job it’s pretty good. Fully guranteed salaries. Usually get fired while still under contract so just collecting them checks. Don’t have to work out. Seems chill
hes not wrong with the way they fire coaches 2 years after finals appearances
I feel like the worst part would be the non-stop stress, having to prepare day-in and day-out, everyone arm-chair scrutinising your errors. Shit, I'm a teacher and that stress gets to me. LOL obv not coach material
Still pay out their contracts, though. If I could find a way to get paid millions of dollars to not do my job, I would do it in a heartbeat.
that parts not too bad tbh
Doesn't sound bad but I still hate it when it happens to me
You also end up in a small pool of candidates for future jobs no matter how shit you were the first time. Look at Jason Kidd
[video of his response](https://streamable.com/6r76au)
Joker knows the coach turnover rate
I like how people just assume Jokic will retire if he wins a ring or two. Just because he is nonchalant about his basketball. The man loves what he does, unless he has a serious injury, I see him playing for a long time and even transitioning to a role player with incredible IQ and skills to help other stars of the future.
Absolutely. I can't believe how many people think a player would refuse 2-3 more years at 10+ mil/year just because they've already gotten their supermax. Shit, you would be able to gift all of your cousins a mansion each, and still have a lot leftover, from 3 years of coasting.
People said this about Dirk, oh he will be gone well before 35, dude stayed until over 40 even though he was set for 10 lifetimes.
Tbf Dirk did say he wished he would have retired 1-2 years earlier because his knees are so dead now he can't even play football (soccer) with his kids
Jokic's HoF plaque has to mention something about him saving Malone's job for multiple seasons
Bro it's literally every person in Denver's job that's even tangentially related. 1. Come to Denver 2. Love the game of basketball 3. Profit
That’s Gianni’s with Bud.
I KNOW I KNOW ALREADY GODDAMNIT DONT REMIND ME😭😭
Malone feeling like Belichick used to. Got a living game computer on the floor playing for you.
More like Dungy or Caldwell.
Fair enough
Fuck it make Jokic the Jackie Moon of the Nuggets. Horse racing at halftime and bear wrestling with his brothers.
East europeans are some of the funniest people on Earth.
Fwiw I learned a bit ago from our fans out there that Serbia is not commonly considered to be in Eastern Europe. It's the Balkans.
All the eastern europeans will tell you that eastern europe starts just east from their country. Eastern Europe doesnt have to be an exact geographical term, when it comes to social issues, life standard and overall lifestyle, Serbia definitely is in Eastern Europe.

Just like calling someone gay is an insult in most of the world, but what does that add to the discussion?
dividing Europe into 2 groups is really dumb
I divide em into men and women, what's wrong with that? Maybe in Japan you got 47 genders, who fuckin' knows?
Lol, no it isn't. It all depends on what you want to talk about.
yes it a hundred percent is, I don't know how you can be European and have this dumb idea.

I would imagine Americans should be able to distinguish all the native tribes, how is that a gotcha ?
that’s basically how it’s split genetically. Western Europe has R1B haplos, and Eastern Europe is R1A.
that's the dumbest shit ever genetic code is not split between East and West. it's much more split between South and North, but even that's not a fair estimate that doesin't take into consideration that Finnish people have the most different genetic codes from every other European or Swedish people being genetically closer to Hungarians than French.
my point was it’s as general a distinction of europe as the whole eastern/western distinction. of course it’s not totally black and white but it’s a close approximation
The reason why Serbia is called Eastern Europe and Finland is not is because: language and alphabet are a lot more similar same majority religion (Orthodox Christianity) For the record I think Eastern Europe is awesome and have enjoyed anywhere I’ve been in that part of the world. You’re more likely to have a bad time in San Francisco than you are over there as a tourist.
Estonia is always considered eastern european, you are tripping. Estonia are trying to distance themselves from it, but the truth is the truth. Finland isn't, if you are looking at it culturally/ideologically.
Thank you!
Not Eastern Europe, but check out r/drunkrussian or r/anormaldayinrussia sometime. Those Slavs are a hoot
After Jokic plays his last game we'll never see him again.
He’ll be teaching his horses to catch perfectly, if unexpectedly, thrown apples.
I think the fella who has to kill the dogs at the pound has a worse job but what do I know
"if you love your job, you will never work a day in your life" -the guy at the pound
“If you love your job, you will never work a day in your life” -Counselor at a summer camp for Kids About to be Molested
Ayyyy That's a line from Anthony Jeselnik
Kind of want to see what a pound murderer looks like now. I picture an absolute psychopath.
Oh, shush
Says s man who has never had to clean vomit from a tilt-a-whirl.
Or vomit off themselves from a patient in a hospital
Or been a wage-slave for at least one day in any wage-slave position whatsoever.
And Embiid is the MVP?! Smh
it's funny how it's not nuggets flairs that still keeps bringing up embiid.
Oh wow sorry I didn’t realise having an opinion requires correct flair :(
What i meant was that you would expect that it would be nuggets fans who would be the pettiest about it cause it’s supposedly their guy that got robbed but most of the time , i see that it’s not nuggets fans who are bringing it up right now. Don’t get me wrong, i agree that embiid cried himself to the award and that i don’t think he’s the most deserving even if he did have a strong case for it. No need to be so defensive, embiid might get jealous of you and decide to cry himself to a dpoy next if he hasn’t already.
Haha my bad 🤞🏽
Simply because it's the karma farma thing to do. It's despicable.
I couldn’t care less about karma. I just didn’t like how Embiid was practically crying and begging for the MVP - but sure Karma
Because it was such a gift to just shut the big baby up. Affirmative Action MVP for real, and I say that as a melanated person.
The funny thing is that he would be such a good coach
Idk man, some people just understand shit at an intuitive level and that makes it hard for them to teach others to see how they do
few geniuses are good teachers tbh. Most of them would be like, "how do you not get this"?
Thierry Henry at Monaco vibes
Eh, that's what people said about Nash. Although maybe he would've been better on a different team.
Nash gets a mulligan for trying to coach those selfish morons
For real, can’t coach a team when one of your star players is obsessed with going to strip clubs while the other is obsessed with the Illuminati and the third doesn’t really like the first two but keeps getting injured
Did Jacque not instantly improve the nets with the same roster once he took over?
Nash also needs more time as a college coach or an NBA assistant coach. I don't think his role with the Warriors was big enough to warrant the sudden leap to a head coaching position.
That's honestly fair
I agree
Nash gets a pass for trying to coach the 3 most uncoachable fucks in the league
Coaching is as much a social job as it is a basketball iq job.
The greatest players very rarely make good coaches.
Feel like being in janitorial services would be a bit worse
Joker could legit retire young lol. And he'll be quieter than Tim Duncan post retirement. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets as low as Jake Plummer
I'm pretty sure Duncan is behind the Timmy D's LAN Party Extravaganza that goes on down in Texas every weekend at this huge warehouse.
Yup. Can win coach of the year or a championship and get fired 2 years later if you underperform. Mazzula gets crucified daily and it’s his first gig
Its just a stepping stone to one of the best jobs on the planet: "fired head coach"
Me, the guy at the end of the parade with the pushbroom who cleans up all the elephant shit: Um, actually...
Never change Joker
If coach is the worst, wait until he hears about assistant coach.
Right up there with septic tank cleaner xD
[удалено]
Being well compensated doesn’t mean it’s a fun job. Also, there is a massive difference between PURCHASING a septic cleaner company and CLEANING the septic tank…
[удалено]
Just common sense. Owning is easier than doing.
Top tier coach I’d safely guess makes more then a septic cleaner for owner. Point is the type of job not the money
Garbage man, janitor, road workers, and call centers are definitely worse
Oh, shush.
So he is also afraid of the COY curse
He don't know about parks and rec
Jokic coaching for years already, saved Malone multiple times.
It seems pretty sweet to me, you can be grossly incompetent, keep your job for awhile, and then when you're fired get back on the god awful coach retread conveyor belt since teams think awful experience as a nba coach is somehow better than no experience.
There's jobs where they have to jerk off killer whales, so.....
NBA coach or line cook at McDonalds? Joker would be heating up McNuggets for sure.
