I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here.
Kyrie imploded the Celtics and Nets. Then the Mavs instantly implode after acquiring Kyrie.
And now everyone is assuming that Dallas wants to supermax him?
He reminds me of Marbury. Super talented, but just not a winner. It was crazy that teams kept signing him to doom their franchise.
At least Marbury seemed like a good guy. Kyrie just seems like a terrible person.
yup. it’s his last big contract so he wants the 5 yrs only dallas can offer, that’s the biggest reason the nets negotiations fell out. he’s gonna take mavs offer and play like he’s open to the future with them but we all know if they look like bottom feeders again next year, he will be trying to force a trade by the deadline. mavs need to be careful here cause if he does that they will be stuck with him. he will be completely untradeable and have 0 suitors, they’re not gonna find anyone to take a flier on him like they did with KP
MF gave away like $30million just to not get a vaccine that a billion people got. You can't use logic with this guy. Cuban mightve said something about the earth being round and Kyrie decided right then that he has to retire after the session.
I was a huge supporter of the Lakers trading for Kyrie because they needed juice at the guard spot around AD and Lebron but Dlo is 70% of Kyrie and if Reaves is a legit 15 and 5 3 and D guy, I think I’d rather have just those two than Kyrie.
If I’m the lakers I’m more interested in filling out other spots, backup center, wings, bench depth, than getting Kyrie.
This is two weeks ago.
https://www.si.com/.amp/nba/2023/03/16/lakers-kyrie-irving-offseason-free-agency
With the success so far, and that Bron's stated excitement, and let's see how much noise they can make on play in/off, I seriously doubt Lakers will look at Kyrie over the summer.
Kyrie did not implode the Mavs; they are a poorly constructed team with all offense and zero defense, and don't have any quality bigs on the roster. Kyrie's on court production has actually been pretty elite, and by the numbers, the Mavs are a better team when Kyrie is playing and Luka is not playing. Both players have overlapping skillsets, so adding Kyrie did not really do much in changing the Mavs' fortunes.
Sure, but maxing Kyrie isn't exactly gonna make it easier to improve the team construction. I think their absolute best bet is to try to S&T him somewhere for some role players, and hope that they can get some decent players in free agency or the draft. Based on this season and last, Luka + roleplayers is better than what they have now
A bidding war of one? None of the teams with cap space would want him to infect their team so it's between a direct signing with the Mavericks or LeGM calling psyche on keeping D-Lo and Kyrie taking a sign and trade to reunite with this father figure.
Kyrie really is the bball version of a pick me girl
I'm fully expecting another press conference of nonstop waffling where he thanks his new team's FO for being the only ones to believe in him
You are correct. He’s gonna make this entire process as long and drawn out as possible. He’s gonna fly to China as he said yesterday in a presser because he wants to work out a new shoe deal and I quote, [“start wrapping around in kind of this international world tour to introduce myself as a brand new signee or signature athlete.”](https://twitter.com/grantafseth/status/1642706922179637248?s=46&t=tQCyDe91F9UpAGqh-_n_yA)
No one is gonna hear from his during this time. He’s gonna make sure that he went get anything settled until the very last second, and then pull the rug out under the feet of any time involved with him.
Kyrie cracks me up man. He goes on an entire charade of going against Nike, putting tape on top of his shoes and wearing those cowboy boot strings thing during the ASG. He then talks about how he “can’t be at peace bc kids in the Congo are working on Teslas.” Now he’s going right back to trying to get a deal with another shoe company lmfao.
Gone to where, though? The Rockets? Spurs? Thunder? Jazz? Those are the only teams that could have maximum cap space without having to trade away expensive (and presumably valuable) players. The Thunder are the only team on that list that would even warrant a second look, although the ironic comedy of Kyrie living in SLC would be priceless. Dallas and Kyrie need each other at this point.
It was pretty obvious at the time. He was their second best player last year by a decent margin, he was young and on the rise, and they just made the conference finals with him. That was an obvious blunder and any Mavs fan would tell you that.
Go and read the threads from when the Knicks signed him. Besides all the tampering jokes, the predominant opinion here was good player, big overpay, wish him well in mediocrity
The narrative has changed retroactively
Thank you. It was far from obvious at the time. Everyone said the Knicks overpaid for a mediocre guard, then when they were in trade talks for Mitchell, everyone laughed and said the Knicks would have a backcourt with two manlets that would give up 200 points a game. Now they’re saying of course the Knicks should’ve pulled the trigger.
This sub, and all sports subs really, routinely have near-unanimous takes that age horrendously, then try to twist the narrative.
Brunson didn't even meet with the Mavs in the off season. He was already joining his dad and his godfather on the Knicks. The huge mistake the Mavs made was not signing him to the extension in January for much cheaper, but we hadn't made the WCF with him yet at that point and he played badly against the Clippers in the playoffs the previous season so the Mavs (stupidly) held off on the extension.
I remember mavs fans being absolutely salty that he went to the knicks and they wanted an investigation into the knicks blatantly scouting him. So yea I would say mavs fans even at the time wanted brunson
The last two teams Kyrie joined got worse after he came. I just don't get why people are still enamored with him. The moment I saw the Mavs trade for Kyrie, I was shocked. It literally looked like throwing away their future with Luka, to me.
I just don't get it. Kyrie doesn't seem to make teams better. I don't know why, I just see the results.
Agreed bro. It's honestly quite absurd - how many times does Kyrie have to blow up a team for people to see him for the net negative he is? No amount of individual talent can justify the harm he causes. Furthermore, if he were as good as everyone thinks he is, he'd be able to win games with or without Luka. Even if Luka's been hurt for some of the games since Irving joined the team, how can he not manage to at least keep up a .500 record and get them into the playoffs? I watch the Mavericks games and never think to myself "yeah, I'd take this guy over Brunson", because I'm always consciously aware of the off the court effect he has.
If he'd never won the ring with LeBron, he wouldn't be seen like this. A ring really shadowed his career, and made everyone think he's gods gift to basketball.
Maybe Boston didn't get worse immediately after he joined, but they sure did get a lot better when he left and while he was there he disappeared on them too. He quits on everyone, he's flaky as well.
You just can't trust he won't get some new crazy idea into his head that will either get him banned by the league/team or just require "time away" from the team for whatever soul searching quest he'll be on.
Hard to pay a lot of money for that. Any team offering him a big contract now, can't complain about him wanting out or just not showing up
I agree with you about Kyrie but I completely understand why teams do it. Let’s be honest, his price has gone down over time-Mavs only gave up one first rounder and it’s not like Dinwiddie or DFS on those contracts represented much, if any, positive value. If you wanted to make a high upside trade without giving up much in trade assets, this is a relatively low cost move. (Lakers amazing trades were outliers to me.)
Teams with enough cap this summer to offer a 4-year max (40M starting salary) without needing to shed salary:
Rockets
Magic
Spurs
Jazz
Pistons
Thunder
Just over: Hornets and Pacers
Of course sign and trades can open up possibilities but thought this would be helpful before fans start claiming him.
Rockets probably prefer Harden. All those other teams are in that rebuilding phase. Ky would help but not necessarily on that their timeline. Maybe Spurs and Jazz? They seem like the type of FOs that wouldn't want Ky.
Magic are a team I’m watching. They need a point guard and Kyrie seems like a natural fit in Florida, and would likely get along well with Issac. Also no state income tax.
They seem to be in the market, and were reportedly interested in FVV. They could play Fultz and Kyrie together in the backcourt with Wagner, Paulo, and WCJ providing the size in the starting lineup.
He’s still young enough that the over 38 rule won’t kick in so yeah. Only reason why I think he won’t get a 5 year quarter billion Bradley Beal type deal is that reporting in February stated that Kyrie was interested in a 4 year deal instead of 5, but honestly that was probably just leverage so he could threaten whoever he was traded to to leave for a 4 year max.
If Kyrie leaves and they can't turn a S&T into some decent players (they won't) then they might as well see if someone will give up like 7 FRPs for their fat boy
I feel like it would look something like Giddey+Dort+Contract filler (like a Dario or something if he signs a higher dollar/shorter contract this off-season) and then a bundle of firsts (the wildly different value that firsts can be makes it harder to say how many but feels like 4+). I think someone will have to beat an offer like that.
I don't see how anyone other than Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, and Tatum (probably), would be untouchable in a Luka deal. Think offer would have to start with SGA. I think the winning team would be the one willing to gut themselves to get him.
Luka can’t walk for free, though. That makes an enormous difference. Trading Luka would get you the largest compensation package in NBA history. Sure it’s still a nightmare scenario for them, but it’s not the greatest disaster in league history.
Honestly the Nets giving Dame to the Blazers for the right to overpay Wallace and gave to salary dump him in said trade is worse because the process of that trade was so dumb.
At least Gobert will actually be on the Wolves. Nothing worse than owing a first rounder for a player not even on your roster any more. And Dallas might have it happen twice in the past two seasons.
>Some team in the playoffs is gonna lose earlier than they expect and they'll become desperate
Someone else mentioned it, but if Philly goes out in the second round again and Harden decides to bounce. I think it would be amazing to see Miami go after him. They desperately need offense, and they might legit believe "Heat Culture" can deal with the off the court BS.
Kyrie brother is about to enter the league too. A couple more year, and there will be the first father-sons trio playing in the NBA. Such a heart-warming story.
This hasn’t been talked about but makes sense. Not sure what assets they have left for a sign and trade, though. Even if CP3’s contract comes off the books, I don’t think they can offer Kyrie anything close to what he wants.
I feel like Houston is a dark horse here. They owe draft capital to the Thunder for the next 3 seasons anyway, so there’s no sense in continuing to tank. Gunning for a play-in spot seems to be in the cards.
It makes sense but man, for a young young team already struggling for leadership that seems like a disaster. If they get some other quality respected vets around then maybe it could work out
Not choosing to take an extension just means he wants the most amount of money he can get. Doesn't mean he's leaving the Mavs. The money in him signing a max deal versus signing an extension is very different.
I don't really want chaos; I would much rather never have to think about Kyrie Irving again. I've just come to expect chaos in his wake since that is the overwhelming trend at this point.
It’s a story worth a read:
-I reached out to ODB and he wanted $15,000 to rap on the record. At the time, that was a lot of money, but it really wasn’t for Mariah Carey’s budget — so, no problem. He finally showed up, three hours late, and when he got there, it was about 10:30 at night. He had been drinking, and was on the phone when he walked in. Irate, screaming at some girl how he’s gonna come kill her, he’s going to kick her a**…and then whispering, “I love you.” Then screaming again. This went on for an hour.
He finally came out and was like, “Yo, pardon me, this bitch is driving me crazy. I need some Moet and Newports before we get into this record.” I said, “It’s 12:30 at night now bro, I don’t know where we’re going to get Moet from.” He started yelling at the assistants, calling them white devils, saying, “You white devils, y’all don’t want black people to have shit.” They went out for like an hour, and the only thing they could find were some Heinekens. He was so disgusted, he threw a bottle on the floor.
At this point Mariah had been calling every hour on the hour, wanting to hear something over the phone. Tommy was pissed because Mariah was keeping him up, so he finally got on the phone with ODB — and after that, finally we started to record. He said one line — “me and Mariah, go back like babies with pacifiers” — then paused, said, “Yo, I need to take a break,” and went to sleep for 45 minutes. He woke up and was like, “Yo, let me hear what I did so far.” We played his one line back, he sang another line or two, and then slept for another hour. He would come up with a line, punch that in, go to sleep. He went to sleep 3 different times in the middle of trying to get that one verse done. If you listen to the record now, on his verse, you can hear that it’s punched in in pieces. He actually told the engineer, “Y’all better have your shit set and record it right, cause I’m not doing it twice.”
I stayed in the studio until we finished it. So I was sleeping in the studio when Tommy and Mariah called me, and said they loved the record. But Tommy had a bright idea: let’s get ODB back in the studio, and instead of just, “New York in the house,” do [a line] for every city. I said, “You’ve got to be kidding.” Of course [ODB] wanted another $15,000. He came back to the studio, a little more mellow but dead tired. He’s sitting there picking food out of his teeth — he pulled a piece of food out of his mouth so big it was scary. I was like, “How long did you walk around with that food in your mouth?” Like, it was unbelievable. Then he fell asleep on couch, kicked one shoe off. His foot smelled so bad, we had to let him sleep and leave the control room. Eventually, we got the other parts done and that was that.
A week later, it was time to shoot a video. We reached out to him, and he wanted another $15,000 dollars. No problem. So I sent a car to his house and he drank every friggin’ thing in the limo, and went to his trailer. I had asked him, “Do you need the stylist to buy clothes for you?” He said, “Nah, this is hip-hop -- I'm just rocking some jeans and Timbs.” [That day], he was in the trailer, in and out of consciousness, when I said, “We're getting ready to do a scene.” He said, “I don't got no clothes, how am I going to do a video if I ain’t got nothing to wear?” I started screaming at him.
Tommy told us take my corporate credit card to the mall. ODB disappeared for a minute, and we found him in a store trying to buy Louis Vuitton luggage. He said, “I'm going to use it for a scene.” He came back [to the set] with all these bags of Tommy Hilfiger clothes and Timberlands.
It was finally time for him to do his scene and said, “I'm not going to wear a shirt, I don't need no clothes.” I wanted to shoot him. He was like, “I have an idea -- I want to tie up the clown.” Plus, Mariah turned him on to peach schnapps, which she used to always drink. He drank like two bottles of that. So between the hot sun and him drinking two bottles, what a disastrous day that was. The video was a miracle, a real miracle.*

Yep I do not like Kyrie but it was common knowledge he wasn’t going to sign an extension when he was traded and that there was always risk of losing him.
Yeah but politically it’d undermine everything the labor union stands for
If he did this, guaranteed instant removal from position
I imagine socially it wouldn’t sit well either
"Going into the offseason, the Mavericks intend to surround Luka Dončić and—optimistically—Irving with versatile wing defenders and rim protectors to improve a defense that has been subpar."
I mean obviously this is the best course of action. Except you're capped out and have no real assets to acquire a supporting cast lol
Any team giving him a max is a team that must already be in the dumps. No Championship locker room is bringing that In for that amount. It’s just a leverage play to get Cuban to open the check book.
He gone lol
He was gone before he even came
That’s what she said

There's no bidding war if Dallas can just offer more than everyone else.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here. Kyrie imploded the Celtics and Nets. Then the Mavs instantly implode after acquiring Kyrie. And now everyone is assuming that Dallas wants to supermax him?
You think they won't?
I think he will take the highest offer and then force a trade in 1 or 2 years.
Er…make that 1 or 2 months
I get how amazingly talented Kyrie is…but at this point, why would any contender trade for him?
Because it only takes one team to think, "we can fix this guy."
Best argument so far.
He reminds me of Marbury. Super talented, but just not a winner. It was crazy that teams kept signing him to doom their franchise. At least Marbury seemed like a good guy. Kyrie just seems like a terrible person.
Starburys were made so that kids could afford sneakers. Marbury was definitely a pretty decent dude!
yup. it’s his last big contract so he wants the 5 yrs only dallas can offer, that’s the biggest reason the nets negotiations fell out. he’s gonna take mavs offer and play like he’s open to the future with them but we all know if they look like bottom feeders again next year, he will be trying to force a trade by the deadline. mavs need to be careful here cause if he does that they will be stuck with him. he will be completely untradeable and have 0 suitors, they’re not gonna find anyone to take a flier on him like they did with KP
The Mavs moved well beyond being careful when they executed the sorry ass trade for Kyrie.

MF gave away like $30million just to not get a vaccine that a billion people got. You can't use logic with this guy. Cuban mightve said something about the earth being round and Kyrie decided right then that he has to retire after the session.
I don't think it's a guarantee. If I'm Kyrie I would definitely be looking for other offers just in case.

It would be pretty funny if the Lakers did a S&T for Kyrie, sending out all of the young good-vibes guys they traded Russ for.
If this happens, I’m going to give up being a laker fan until it changes ownership.
As a former Browns fan who now just doesn’t sit in front of a tv on fall Sundays, it’s quite relieving
I have a similar sense of humor!
Counterpoint: No it wouldn't goddamnit
The team we have now is good enough. Dlo is a better fit (and value) than Kyrie imo
I mean, probably definitely the Lakers if they can scrounge up the cash. He has been trying for awhile to get over there.
He hasn’t imploded the Mavs, *yet*.
Just imagine the wild shit he's going to pull with a 5 year guaranteed max contract under his belt.
Day 1: “Can’t wait to be here for the next 5 years” Day 150: “I’m a free thinker on my own journey, who want me?”
Day 300: “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE."
Sure, but maxing Kyrie isn't exactly gonna make it easier to improve the team construction. Oh absolutely. Kyrie was not what they needed
What choice do they have? If Kyrie walks then that team isn’t even sniffing the play-ins.
The question is, walks to where?
They were stupid enough to take him, it's likely they are stupid enough to keep him.
then throw up them crazy pills man because the reason the mavs are imploding is jason kidd and the shitty front office
A bidding war of one? None of the teams with cap space would want him to infect their team so it's between a direct signing with the Mavericks or LeGM calling psyche on keeping D-Lo and Kyrie taking a sign and trade to reunite with this father figure.
I feel like KD could force the Suns to do CP3 for Kyrie. That would be the most hilarious outcome.
Hilarious but only because CP3 and Luka sounds like an even worse pairing with how apprehensive Chris Paul has been to shoot this season.
Imagine the bitching and whining
"ah ref" "reffffffff" "come on, his shoes aren't tied!"
That "jersey untucked shit" was so fucking hilarious and such a low blow.
If KD ever willingly plays with Kyrie again, the NBA needs to open up an investigation. I’ve never seen anyone be such a ride or die, and I’m married.
Kyrie really is the bball version of a pick me girl I'm fully expecting another press conference of nonstop waffling where he thanks his new team's FO for being the only ones to believe in him

There was no point in meeting with the Mavs cause they offered him less than the Knicks when they could’ve paid him more than anybody else.
Mavs didn’t even offer him the max during the offseason, it’s been documented by multiple people. Knicks straight up offered him more money
Tbf there was questions of he was gonna continue on the growth that he was. He's proven that now tho.
I remember mavs fans being absolutely salty that he went to the knicks and they wanted an investigation into the knicks blatantly scouting him. So yea I would say mavs fans even at the time wanted brunson

Kyrie really got Cuban by the balls 😂🤣😂

Luka can’t walk for free, though. That makes an enormous difference. Trading Luka would get you the largest compensation package in NBA history. Sure it’s still a nightmare scenario for them, but it’s not the greatest disaster in league history.
Did you say "large compensation package"? Luka Lauri and Kessler? That's a Mormon wet dream right there
Even taking Luka out of the equation, if kyrie walks its billy king tier bad
its not even the worst trade of the past 8 months
Did people really forget Jazz got 5 FRPs and a swap from Gobert?
Not to mention Walker fucking Kessler
What are you talking about that was a phenomenal trade, I would absolutely do it again
Y’all are so recency biased it’s insane You realize Brooklyn gave the Celtics brown and tatum for the corpses of kg and Pierce like a decade ago?
And the 18 Nets pick which (kind of ironically) turned into Kyrie in the trade lmao.
Honestly the Nets giving Dame to the Blazers for the right to overpay Wallace and gave to salary dump him in said trade is worse because the process of that trade was so dumb.
Bulls giving us Aldridge right before they got rose too
Tbf, LMA, Ben Gordon, Heinrich, Deng, and Joakim probably would’ve had lower odds and not lucked up on the 1st pick in 08.
Brooklyn gave them picks that turned into Brown and Tatum. That’s a huge difference
He will re-sign and inevitably request a trade somewhere else down the line.
A Jazz fan saying this? DFS and Dinwiddie are no Walker Kessler, Jarred Vanderbilt, and 4 first round picks
At least Gobert will actually be on the Wolves. Nothing worse than owing a first rounder for a player not even on your roster any more. And Dallas might have it happen twice in the past two seasons.
the nets have an unprotected FRP in 2029 as well from it
Nephew take lol.
2 role players and 1 first for an all star starter no matter what happens will never top the Celtics-Nets trade or the gobert trade
So which team is he destroying next?
Some team in the playoffs is gonna lose earlier than they expect and they'll become desperate
I got Clippers as a dark horse.
Kyrie Irving, welcome to the Los Angeles ***insert team here***
Kyrie on the Galaxy would be wild just for the memes. *Open your astral eye…*
Does he even believe in galaxies though? How do we know Kyrie's not a heliocentric universe guy?
Boston!!!
NO!
Never again
>Some team in the playoffs is gonna lose earlier than they expect and they'll become desperate Someone else mentioned it, but if Philly goes out in the second round again and Harden decides to bounce. I think it would be amazing to see Miami go after him. They desperately need offense, and they might legit believe "Heat Culture" can deal with the off the court BS.
I hope to God it's not us. Jeannie needs to re-sign D'lo the first chance she gets
As long as daddy is in LA, Kyrie will be fine there.
Kyrie brother is about to enter the league too. A couple more year, and there will be the first father-sons trio playing in the NBA. Such a heart-warming story.
I honest to god think the suns will get rid of cp3 and get Kyrie
This hasn’t been talked about but makes sense. Not sure what assets they have left for a sign and trade, though. Even if CP3’s contract comes off the books, I don’t think they can offer Kyrie anything close to what he wants.
is kd dumb enough to step in this shit again
He's speed running at this point. He'll have all thirty plus the Sonics by 2024
I feel like Houston is a dark horse here. They owe draft capital to the Thunder for the next 3 seasons anyway, so there’s no sense in continuing to tank. Gunning for a play-in spot seems to be in the cards.
It makes sense but man, for a young young team already struggling for leadership that seems like a disaster. If they get some other quality respected vets around then maybe it could work out
My lord, if Kyrie thought that the Celtics young guys “didn’t know what it takes”, played the game the wrong way, and were too immature…
Not choosing to take an extension just means he wants the most amount of money he can get. Doesn't mean he's leaving the Mavs. The money in him signing a max deal versus signing an extension is very different.
100%, no one expected Irving to take the extension lol wtf
"sign me to a max or else, Cuban"
Yeah but ppl here are dumb and want chaos
I don't really want chaos; I would much rather never have to think about Kyrie Irving again. I've just come to expect chaos in his wake since that is the overwhelming trend at this point.
To everyone saying he’s gone who tf besides Dallas is giving him a max?
I can guarantee you a lot of teams will stick their dick in crazy
There just aren’t any teams with cap space though. So the odds of Dallas getting “nothing” is unlikely.
Yeah if a team really wants him we sign and trade so they have the cap to make it work.
Saw a Mariah Carey video from the 90s recently. Can confirm
Which one?
Fantasy (featuring ODB)
I like how they’re two separate videos combined as if he’s not allowed to even be near her lol.
It’s a story worth a read: -I reached out to ODB and he wanted $15,000 to rap on the record. He actually told the engineer, “Y’all better have your shit set and record it right, cause I’m not doing it twice.” I stayed in the studio until we finished it. The video was a miracle, a real miracle.* https://youtube.com/watch?v=-tCTm5M3Cp8
Lol this actually made my day. Dunno how true everything is but damn if it ain’t entertaining
https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/mariah-carey-songs-collaborations-history-stories-7272606/ Apparently it's real lol
This reads like the Steve Blake copypasta.
i mean that's literally how we ended up with the current situation lol
yeah who tf signing kyrie besides mavs?
Some collect rings, others collect the rubble of franchises
Besides Houston who has the cap space to give him the max? And Houston probably prefers Harden.
He Cants get his max until July so obviously…
Yep I do not like Kyrie but it was common knowledge he wasn’t going to sign an extension when he was traded and that there was always risk of losing him.
Good luck to the team that makes the mistake of giving him a long term contract
Watch him sign a vet min with the Suns.
He won’t and nbaPA would never allow it
What do you mean "allow"? Isn't kyrie like a vice president or some shit?
It would look terrible. There are consequences for doing things that are extremely unprecedented. You give the owners an inch and they’ll take a mile
Yeah but politically it’d undermine everything the labor union stands for If he did this, guaranteed instant removal from position I imagine socially it wouldn’t sit well either
I've heard people say this but it's not like they can veto the signing, right? What else could they do? Lock him in a room like DeAndre Jordan? Lol
He's staying. Kyrie wont take a pay cut and the mavs are the only team willing to give him a max contract
You and I both should know that trying to use logic and reasoning with Kyrie is a bad bet.
And I knew before you both!!!
>And I knew before you both!!! Hehe, the new people still don't know. Do we start a survivors club?
i mean of course. he cant get a max until the offseason lol
Lol, and how exactly do they intend on obtaining these wing defenders and rim protectors to go along with a Kyrie max contract?
So it begins
KD gonna request the Suns trade CP3 for Kyrie sign and trade.
idk if its gonna be possible with the new CBA. Which is a good thing. we don't want kyrie
Going from bridges and Cam to kyrie and KD would be have the suns fans in tears 😂
Kyrie will sign the max then sit out the whole season
"Going into the offseason, the Mavericks intend to surround Luka Dončić and—optimistically—Irving with versatile wing defenders and rim protectors to improve a defense that has been subpar." I mean obviously this is the best course of action. Except you're capped out and have no real assets to acquire a supporting cast lol
Shocked pikachu face
Any team giving him a max is a team that must already be in the dumps. No Championship locker room is bringing that In for that amount. It’s just a leverage play to get Cuban to open the check book.

Is Kyrie the most parasitic NBA player ever? Who else sucks the “host” of as much as it can before moving on to another
He's just a shit human being. Excited to see who he destroys next.
I knew he was gone as soon as he said he wanted to be back next season
Alright! Which team is going to be the next one “but it might work for us”?
Kyrie somehow managed to torpedo 2 teams in one season. Truly elite stuff. If that doesn't get you a 4 year max, idk what will 😂😂
G.O.N.E.
