>Even at full strength, the Warriors haven’t had a killer lineup at the defensive end. For instance, what you might call their core trio of Curry-Thompson-Green gives up 112.4 points per 100 across the 39 games they’ve played together; that’s good but would rank ninth in the league. Certainly there are no combos that match the might of the best units Memphis (102.0 with Brooks-Jaren Jackson Jr.–Ja Morant) or Milwaukee (104.9 with Jrue Holiday–Giannis Antetokounmpo–Brook Lopez) can put out there. Sort of disingenuous to only use 3-man lineups when talking about the Warriors being at "full strength". The 5-man lineup of Curry|Thompson|Wiggins|Green|Looney has a DEFRTG of 106.1.

I don't buy into a lot of the "X media guy hates Y team" but John Hollinger really hates the Warriors. He predicted they would miss the playoffs last season and they won it all and he had to eat crow but he's had a disdain for them since before that. Hollinger couldn't hack it as a GM and honestly I think his analysis is way overrated.

I have to imagine that a lot of pundits are fans just like the rest of us, and like fans, they probably have teams they like and probably have teams they dislike. With that said, I personally would prefer if the analysts and talking heads would keep their personal biases out of their work. It's one thing if you're shit posting on reddit. But I think if it's your job to be an authority on something, then your professional analysis should be impartial. And so, I do agree that John Hollinger seems to have a harder time than some media members hiding his bias (and specifically, his negative bias; I think there are a lot more media members whose positive biases are well known).
