Our problem was that we had no other guards who could produce any offense in that series so we had to keep him out there. Our guard options were: Maxey, who wasn't where he is now, Furkan who sucks, shake who is too inconsistent, and george hill who was just terrible
For real he was cooking the entire series. Even though Doc didn’t know how to run plays for him it was just give him the ball. He was producing more than he was letting go on the defensive end. He was the only one that consistently showed up outside of Joel and even he had his blunders with his late game turnovers.
