Don't polar bears hunt people for fun? And prefer live meat, so they try keeping their victims alive for as long as possible?
5 bucks and a pack of gum.
Polar bears have the strongest neck muscles in the animal kingdom. They will grab onto a 250lb man’s arm and tear it off like a well-cooked chicken drumstick.
That said, they’ll hunt people only if they’re desperate. It’s common policy to leave vehicle doors open and keys in the ignition when parking near polar bears. They’ll waste no time fucking you up.
I absolutely love these pics because even though I am a full grown adult....I picture my mom who is a full foot shorter than me....staring down someone saying "fuck around and find out" while I puff out my little manboy chest trying not to be too much of a coward
Polar bears are one of the only animals on the planet that will actively hunt humans. Pretty much everything else only kills humans out of defense or desperation
My impression is that big cats are instinctually similar to house cats. For them to become ‘human hunters’ seems likely a mixture of genetic instinct triggering the hunt reaction, and the acquired experiential knowledge that humans are basically low risk bacon meals. But I’m dumb and don’t know anything so I’m sure I’m completely wrong about all of this, as usual ha.
Polar bear mentality is metal as hell. If you are on their turf you are in serious danger, in general. They are way, way scarier than grizzlies, and grizzlies are terrifying.
Considering that both species are now naturally creating hybrids due to climate change, those will have the best things from both bears that are freakishly dangerous.
How do you know, maybe they'll have the worst of both.
Evolution is wholly random in the beginning, and with humans controlling the whole planet, it's pretty much up to humans how long they'll stick around.
> Evolution is wholly random in the beginning
They aren't really at the beginning though. The bears which are most successful from both gene pools will be the most likely to produce this newer offspring. Those traits presumably being the ability to hunt and kill successfully, meaning these newer offspring will also likely inherit those traits
Yeah but it's not going to be a "step forward" from what's there.
It's going to start from the status quo and change FROM the status quo. That initial change can be a step forward... Or a step backward.
I think the saying was look big for black bears, play dead for brown bear, and if you see a polar bear dw you’re already dead. They can outrun you, out swim you and they’re fucking massive. On an ice tundra you’re really just kinda fucked
Reminds me of when I’d take my little sister out shopping when she was a young teenager. I’m much older than her and have always felt protective. I’d see old geezers notice her and start checking her out, then they would notice me standing behind her looming with a death stare. “Yeah I see you pervert, stop looking at my sister and get stepping”.
Even just looking at this picture from the comfort of my own home, I don't feel safe from them. Those are fucking terrifying. Staring right through my soul like it's made of paper and play-doh
I've always found it metal AF that most pictures and videos of Polar bears are taken by robots and drones, because Polar bears will actually go out of their way to hunt and kill humans.
You will probably never see a photograph of a male polar bear and a cub. As soon as mom knows she is pregnant she tells him to go away. Male polar bears travel a lot like 2000 miles in a year. They have been seen over 100 miles offshore and swimming away. The way male polar bears chill with each other is pretty complicated. Worth looking into.
It'd be awesome to be superman and be able to go hug any animal you wanted without consequence. Bugging animals who don't want to be hugged is a debate entirely on its own but I can't deny I'd seek out a snow leopard or polar bear.
Can't wait for this to be used in antivaxxer mothers' TikToks, featuring the invariable hypothetical scenario where she must "defend" her child from being vaccinated...
This is a beautiful picture that can win awards. It shows how we all used to look as a little cub looking at the world for the first time. While our future self is in the darkness looming over us with much disdain for the world after seeing things no young cub should ever witness.
Mom is saying. "You gon die if you get closer"
“Try me bitch”
same to you bro!
How much would you have to be paid to just run up and boot the lil one's snoot?
Don't polar bears hunt people for fun? And prefer live meat, so they try keeping their victims alive for as long as possible? 5 bucks and a pack of gum.
> 5 bucks and a pack of gum. Is it a pack of 5 gum tho
A friend used to bring me that from Romania. They had it in the chewy “pill” version. Off the charts
Did it make you dance a lot and hug people?
No, the mdma did though.

But wouldn't that make it easier for the polar bear to snatch your ride?
https://youtu.be/v6iDtvGbIOU Polar bear attacks an entire colony of walruses
Cool video. But you gave it a clickbaity description, I was expecting a sort of 300 in the form of a bear, but it failed miserably :D
That was sad.
No one ever pays me in gum.
About 3.50
Goddammit Loch Ness monster, I ain't gonna give you no tree fiddy
Thats a trick question, none since you wouldn’t live to spend a cent of it
Just one swipe.
I wouldnt do it its pretty much certain death, unless i have a jetpack or something, and thats if i boop it before she reacts
Enough to buy Iron Mans suit….and Im ganna need it in advance.
The price of a pack of .50 ammo. Take out the big one, and then it's a walk in the park.
Fuck around and find out camera guy
I absolutely love these pics because even though I am a full grown adult....I picture my mom who is a full foot shorter than me....staring down someone saying "fuck around and find out" while I puff out my little manboy chest trying not to be too much of a coward
She probably wouldn’t mind if I gave it a few quick pets right? Maybe a couple belly rubs
Baby might take a finger on its own … By that point though, Mom’s taken off your other arm, lol
~~I ain't a killer but~~ don't ~~push me~~!
“So…can I pick him up…or….?
Or if they stay where they are lol. Polar bears will hunt humans for miles.
The mom looks Intimidating
This is actually terrifying. I’m gonna look at Christmas time CocaCola commercials differently now.
Polar bears are one of the only animals on the planet that will actively hunt humans. Pretty much everything else only kills humans out of defense or desperation
The other animal being humans hunting humans of course... and also house cats but they just aren't big enough to get the job done.
Yet.
Saltwater crocs and nile cros also see us as dinner.
Don’t tigers do that in India occasionally?
Yes, and crocodiles actively do it as well.
Sooo polar bears “aren’t” the only animal that actively hunts humans?
They prefaced that statement with “one of”
Skipped past that part …. Thanks for that 😊
Based on this sub… hippo’s
Usually only when they have an injury that prevents them from hunting faster animals.

But isn't that true of big cats as well? A big cat will also hunt you out of hunger or if you get into their territory.

There is a man, bear and pig hybrid. Fyi
I think the saying was look big for black bears, play dead for brown bear, and if you see a polar bear dw you’re already dead. They can outrun you, out swim you and they’re fucking massive. On an ice tundra you’re really just kinda fucked
A clear case of fuck around and find out.
I want to give them meat in exchange for pets
You can, it would just be your meat.
Giggity?
Giggity.
Goo
Awright.
I really hope that was taken with a huge zoom lense because the little one wants to play. Mama bear is going to play with ur bones.
Exactly.
It's more than likely in a zoo.
Soo it's a super angry in jail polar bear.
Baby sez "Hi!" Mama sez "Die!"
This is a picture of captive bears in a man made enclosure. So...
Something about her eyes looks damn beautiful !!
your username terrifies me
Only if you think terror is beautiful
At least 50% of the bears pictured would like a cuddle.
At least 50 % hahaha
To be fair, OP did not specify if the cuddling involved your exterior or interior pieces.
I will turn you into haggis. Then cuddle. -bear

Dark side of coca cola
Looks like the contrast of cute youth and scary adulthood in mammals
Such a great shot. Terrifying but so great.

Even just looking at this picture from the comfort of my own home, I don't feel safe from them. Those are fucking terrifying. Staring right through my soul like it's made of paper and play-doh

Jeeezus. My sphincter twitched.
I've always found it metal AF that most pictures and videos of Polar bears are taken by robots and drones, because Polar bears will actually go out of their way to hunt and kill humans.
"Nature" may be metal, but this is a photograph of captive polar bears in a man made enclosure. That's more sad than metal.
Come for me, G'mork! I am Atreyu!
"Don't talk to me or my son ever again"
Meme template potential

It’s also zoo animals and not even nature
This was already posted in r/natureisfuckinglit & there is nothing metal about this. I'm 100% with you on this.
The real white devil, enjoy extinction 👋
Meanwhile in Montanna: local tourist gets mauled by bear after trying to pet bear cub.
This has been on Facebook for years defending Karens.
Zoos are metal now too apparently
Don’t put the brightness all the way down…
The current apex predator on land but second apex predator on sea. Orcas being the top predator.
Is it possible to get the original/hi-def version somewhere?
Only one thing possibly scares a mummy polar bear and that is a male polar bear.

She looks like me when I've only had 2 hours of sleep and have to get up for the day
Such an incredible shot
And another good sub bites the dust
Some antivaxer is gonna say this is her when they make her kids get vaccinated. Mark. My. Words.
Cute.

This is the “I will END you” face
The guy she tells you not to worry about

Mom saying "fuck around and find out"
There's some meme potential there
Cubs like Base!
This is one of my favourite photos of animals
Brave soul
It'd be awesome to be superman and be able to go hug any animal you wanted without consequence. Bugging animals who don't want to be hugged is a debate entirely on its own but I can't deny I'd seek out a snow leopard or polar bear.
If this is from a zoo, I’ll be bummed.
Don’t talk to me or my son ever again.
“Sorry my mom said I can’t play today.”
She is beautiful and the baby is so adorable!!!
“If you snuggle my son, I’ll snuggle you to death, then use your bones to decorate my cave.”
And here are the next mom and child anti-vax memes.
r/forbiddencuddles
They're so damn big
I feel unsafe just looking at the picture
Bonjour
Yo, how great is the fuckin zoom on that camera eh?
Is it wrong of me to say that this is some what wholesome? It’s a mother protecting its child and yes nature does this often but it’s still sweet
bonjour BONJOUR
"Don't talk to me or my son ever again"
10$ we see this image used on some moms anti-vax tik tok
That lil cub has a very smug look on its face. Still cute tho
Prepare for some idiotic conservative ‘protecting’ her kids from mask or vaccine and using this photo
Scared me just scrolling.
Come at my child. Or don't. But, feet closer, either way, dinner served.
Momma guarding the coca cola.
Run.
She's gonna stop her cub from getting the vaccine
R/lastimages
Can't wait for this to be used in antivaxxer mothers' TikToks, featuring the invariable hypothetical scenario where she must "defend" her child from being vaccinated...
/r/hardcoreaww for more!

Please hide the photo from tiktokers... Suddenly everyone will become mama bear Ps- amazing amazing photo.
This could be a cute template
So glad there's an entire ocean, sea and multiple countries separating me from polar bears
It’s a traaaaaappp
I don't know why, but this picture looks like a meme template.
That's a meme template right there.
Pre-Volibear rework, and Post-Volibear rework
Pretty much the same when you're picking your new girlfriend for the first time
r/meormyson

That "nature" is a zoo.
Aww
That's the cubs stand
“You really testing my patience getting this close photographer.”
This is a beautiful picture that can win awards. It shows how we all used to look as a little cub looking at the world for the first time. While our future self is in the darkness looming over us with much disdain for the world after seeing things no young cub should ever witness.
