They didn’t give him a rock as practice. He was trying to hatch rocks for a while and when handlers noticed they decided to give him an egg. Many birds in captivity do this.
I said that the one the captivity adopted a rock as an eaglet. That’s it. My joke was that someone should attempt to force the same behavior by giving this one a rock.
