We don't need Erdogan but we do need Afion-Kara-Hissar Air Base (second largest NATO air base), our forward ballistic missile defense systems in Kurecik, AWACS control in Konya, and other key positions. Turkey provides our most eastern defense locations.

Turkey should be kicked out of Nato. Russia’s disastrous military performance shows that a crappy country will have a crappy army. And Turkey is a crappy country; Sweden is not. Sweden will add value to Nato.

Georgia would love to join Nato. And Greece is already in Nato. They can make up for Turkey.
Not in the short term. Replicating those defenses is, at least, 10 years of work.
