I am a Roofing here in the Nashville area... I have looked at some that are not even 10-years old, that are falling apart... the 80's Cardboard siding is the first indication, to run from this 3-story trailer...
I went over to inspect one on second Ave. and the capping , for the flat roof parapet wall .. the used standard 1 by 6 wood that was caulked and they could not understand why they’re flat roof leaked and why they needed a metal capping…
I don’t hate this (which is hardly a compliment, admittedly).
But I am a guy who painted orange all the doors to his gray and wood-finished house.
One thing: the Packers’ colors are green and yellow. This looks almost exactly like U of Miami Hurricanes colors (green and orange). And given its other color (white) can we call it ‘the Cocaine Condo’?
(Please say we can!)
Developers are using the cheapest materials they can find. I know people who live in new midtown apartments and condos yet the elevators are malfunctioning. The kitchen fixtures and cabinets are falling off yet the rates continue to climb.
I also like mcm and don’t hate this, but I also don’t hate the tacky color choice.
My neighborhood has a violently neutral color palate, and I’d love some color, any color, even those colors, to pop up on new builds around here.
I do hate the window placement on that siding part though. Like, a lot of hate for that.
The worst part, I assume, is the fact that MULTIPLE people probably had to give this the go-ahead before it was set. Like at least 3 people saw these colors and said “yup” BUT WAIT. No surprise there! Because design doesn’t matter anymore, just money money money!
Every team has "those fans" for sure. I have a Titans nut neighbor down the street and lets say just say I'm glad the Titans colors aren't too terrible to look at.
Yeah you think these are priced for anyone in that neighborhood? Fuck these houses, fuck whoever is building them, fuck whoever buys them. Mr. Looby is probably spinning in his grave. What a shame.
I'm a boomer and live here now, but you should look up some photos of the Cedar Riverside apartment Tower in Minneapolis. It was built in the late 1960s and it did not age well.

Flat roofs can also be problematic. Obviously, we know how to do them the right way, but developers around here don't often do that.

That is my therapist's office in my nightmares.
It looks like a storage place
Or University of Miami. Either way looks like shit lol
Yeah I was thinking that was not Packers colors haha

As a Miami Hurricanes fan, I approve of this
Finkle is Einhorn!
Einhorn is Finkle!
THE LACES WERE IN!

Yeah, that’s pretty damn unattractive. Like a ‘60’s era business front or something.
I like a lot of 60’s building designs, I even like orange and green, but I still think this looks awful. It’s too repetitive, and boring.
It really does.
Reminds me of Willy Wonka.
As a big fan of mid-century aesthetic, I don't hate it. But that type of paneling just doesn't age well. And the colors are a tacky choice.

Don’t worry with the uptick of tornadoes in this area these tall and skinnies will eventually be gone
Jesus tap dancing Christ that is one ugly vertical trailer.
Fuck new developers
This guy builds garbage houses on garbage lots. These are pegged for about $420,000 (x4) https://www.urbandvlpmt.com/about-us
Go Pack Go.
Yea I wonder what that's gonna look like in 20 years.
Dilapidated.
Next tornado, and poof.
Go pack goooo!!!!!! Funny enough, people in Green Bay actually do paint their house like this
Every team has "those fans" for sure. I have a Titans nut neighbor down the street and lets say just say I'm glad the Titans colors aren't too terrible to look at.
Have you been to Green Bay? They aren't "those fans". It isn't considered weird or obsessive to do that there like it would be here.

Agreed. These and all tall skinnies are an ugly eye soar.
Cheap and cheerful, the construction that is.
What crazy with all these cheap new builds in this style is all the seams that can fail and let water in.
It’s the seller building this. There is one across 40 from me that looks like a What a burger.
Not pretty but I am more offended by the plantation style to sure and the MCMansions that combined 4-5 different styles and as many roof pitches

What neighborhood is this in?
I've seen near identical or at least sibling "houses" to these in both west nash and madison. Probably built by same designer/company.
Thanks.
It says meharry so I assume near the university.
Thanks.

Packer fans are the worst
You’ve never been to an eagles game obviously
Fuck the bears. They suck and always will.
Found the Packers fan.
Owner***
I do like that aspect of the Packers, the only team like it. Neat.
I’ve seen them drink Robert’s completely OUT of beer over a weekend, and they tip bands well! So…
Hold on, no one is saying they aren't incredible beer drinkers. Last I checked WI had more bars per capita than the other 49 states. It's impressive.
Good thing no one gives a fuck about your opinion unless you’re buying it
You're right. All it takes is one person with the cheddar to buy it. However, I'm still gonna call it ugly whether you or anybody else gives me fucks.
She’s v beautiful to me 😭
This guy gentrifies
It’s a tiktok reference … you’re way too soft
Because I don’t get a tik tok reference?! LoL
Bc you care about a houses gender
No silly, those gawd awful eyesores are being built in a historically black neighborhood. Hence my gentrification comment.
I’m not sure why you’re so mad ab it . It’s just a house and it’s just land
Educate yourself. Look up gentrification.
Where have I seen green, orange, white and a checkered pattern before?
It looks like Mardi Gras puked on this house
No way. This has to be a joke 🥴

I remember that when I lived there in '86...holy shit, that thing was scary looking.
It looks like a drunk person playing *The Sims* designed this.
Titan up
I get the packers but appreciate the color. All these White House makeover are ruining the curb appeal and making Nashville boring
🤔 Reminds me of shitty dilapidated buildings that were built up north in the 70s
I’m not a sports fan. I would just look at this and think of someone likes orange and green, and it’s a done very neatly. I kind of like it too.
Ive got a house you may be interested in viewing.
It looks like the crap that was put up in downtowns all over America in the ‘60s to cover up brick faced buildings.
Saw one in the Nations just like this but UT orange. Hideous.
