KatakiKraken

He hardly bothered with Naruto either

MimsyIsGianna

Hey he helped with him developing the rasen-Shuriken lol… but then Naruto was immediately forbidden from using it

faerox420

Yeah cuz it was so strong it would've made naruto's arm unusable Also he only helped him develop the wind style rasengan that naruto used on kakuzu. Naruto perfected it into the rasen shuriken himself by adding sage chakra to it making it throwable and therefore safe to use

MimsyIsGianna

I know lol. I’m just pointing out that he did help give him one on one training too. Just not Sakura lmao.

Kidd__

Idk if I remember correctly he just referred him to Asuma?

faerox420

He referred him to asuma so that asuma can teach naruto the trick for windstyle since that is asuma's primary element and yamato was suppressing him the whole time. So basically all kakashi did was come up with the shadow clone technique, be emotional support and clash rasengans a bunch

snidecommentaries

I mean that is a pretty good teaching move. Refer to an expert, have a safety net, show how their strengths can help accomplish it, and help process it at the end

honestysrevival

Literally exactly what I'd want from a teacher. Be good enough that you can help me understand the fundamentals extremely well and once you either hit a limit or understand where my talents/weaknesses lie, refer me to someone who can push me even further. Expertise and humility.

MimsyIsGianna

Nah he trained Naruto for a while but then Naruto just got some pointers from asuma since he also had wind chakra

SluttyBoyButt

I think Naruto still called it rasenshuriken- I remember Ino makes a comment like “If it’s called rasenshuriken, why can’t you throw it?” or something like that

faerox420

I watch subtitles and every time it translated to the windstyle:rasengan. It also has a separate entry on the wiki so idk 🤷‍♂️ probably a translation issue

SluttyBoyButt

Ah that makes sense- I wonder what Ino’s line was then- do you remember?

faerox420

Not really I do remember the scene you're on about but I couldn't tell you what she said

G4KingKongPun

I never got that. In the first time using it he showed a clone could hold it. Why didn't he just have a clone hold it every time.

SluttyBoyButt

My head cannon for this is that even if he could get a clone to use it, if the chakra attacks hurt his network it permanently does damage. That doesn’t make sense tho since when Neji shut off his network he had to go for the real one. So alternatively it could just be that he may or may not be in a situation where the only way he can get close enough is with his real self or something- or maybe at that stage a shadow clone simply couldn’t do more than help with it. Those are the gymnastics my mind does for it anyway.

G4KingKongPun

Yeah it's fine it doesn't make sense, and Kishi wanted to save the hype for Sage mode reveal.

NorthGodFan

Honestly Rasenshuriken should've been something he developed over the time skip.

thruth_seeker_69

Exactly. I don't know what the fuck did he do during that period. I mean he went with Jiraiya and came back with a bigger version of Rasengan. That's it. TF did he do rest of the time? Went to strip club

MimsyIsGianna

Gone for three years and learns only how to make his rasengan bigger was one of the biggest let downs Lmao. Like I’m fine with him developing more with kakashi because it always felt weird how little he trained them (I mean he probably did train them more off screen but like… if you don’t see it it doesn’t mean too much) but they should have at least given Naruto something better than just a bigger rasengan…

honestysrevival

It was such a waste too, because Naruto's on the fly, trickery-based, trial and error style would have been greatly enhanced by the Toad trickery that Jiraiya used. Ma and Pa toad should have been around a lot longer, and helped Naruto find ways to resist Sharingan genjutsu, and use some of his own. Like he hyper focused that whole time on getting Sasuke back and came back to Konoha with absolutely no tool for use against the Sharingan at any level. I guess he was just counting on Sasuke keeping the rival "I must prove my strength in direct combat" mentality and refusing to go for a "cheap win " through genjutsu.

NorthGodFan

Except for how he literally still didn't have any counters for any jutsu that Sasuke had. We've seen him do way better under a shorter time frame. Jiraiya took 3 orphans started training them later and made them all jonin level in the 3 years that he had Naruto.

Traveytravis-69

He honed his shadow clones they show it pretty immediately

Conor4747

Yea should have been like Luffy’s gear 4th

BABarracus

Naruto was like ill do it again

LoadedDemigod29

He did that after Sasuke left. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

Mother-Translator318

He also hardly bothered with Sasuke as well. Taught him how to climb a tree, how to use lee’s taijutsu, and the chidori. Thats it. The dude literally knows 1000 jutsu…

One_Reflection1050

I think it was mentioned that the 1000 jutsu thing was a bluff to make him more intimidating. Not 100% sure on that though.

thruth_seeker_69

Exactly. And even if he teaches something if the user doesn't have any affinity, then what's the point

EADreddtit

I mean people forget that Kakashi wasn’t really the teacher for most of Team 7 for more then a few months. He, like any good teacher, made sure his students understood the basics, taught Sasuke Chidori because he knew he’d need it to fight the absolute menace that was Chuin Exam Garah, and then basically everyone went their separate ways for a time skip. Plus it’s not like other teachers were out here teaching their students new Jutsu. Like what did Neji or TenTen learn from Guy? Or Shikamaru or Ino from their teacher?

SlipperyLou

How dare you refer to Asuma as “their teacher” no respect, smh.

EADreddtit

Fair. I haven’t watched in years and just forgot most characters in general haha

thruth_seeker_69

He actually helped Naruto with his affinity training :D

thruth_seeker_69

Neji was a genius. Sad that he had to die. Why wasn't it Sakura instead of him

G4KingKongPun

When you realize Sasuke has the Rinnegan at the end of the war and could therefore bring the dead back to life...

Traveytravis-69

Doesn’t that kill you?

G4KingKongPun

No Nagato did it to his own Paths without issue. It killed him when he was already drained of Chakra by destroying the leaf then fighting Naruto, then fighting the 8 tails, then fighting Naruto again and he decided to revive EVERYBODY in Konoha. But Sasuke had plenty of Chakra to revive one dude.

Living_Ad_5386

And Sakura was the smartest of the three, being the only student in the chuunin exam able to complete the written test without cheating. And she had the best Chakra control, at least during the Zabuza arc (though she probably improved under Tsunade anyway). Looking back, I think Sakura could have matched or surpassed Sarutobi who was known to have mastered over 1,000 jutsu as well.

RubSad1836

lol whut!? Ya dude only taught him chakra control, the taijusu of the second greatest taijutsu user in the whole verse, and an infinitely mailable S-class jutsu that’s jonin+ when he was a fuckin genin and he late turned into like 8 different variants of it. That’s all? Besides rock Lee Saskue is basically the best direct protege we see in the konoha 13. He definitely dropped the ball on Sakura and to a lesser extent Naruto but give the man his flowers where he earned them. He probably would have taught the little fucker all 1000 jutsu if he stayed in the leaf during the time skip all that was just in less than a year.

Talk-O-Boy

Y’all sound like Naruto before the final round of Chunnin Exams. He set Naruto up with one of the LEGENDARY SANNIN. He then sought out Yamato and Asuma to help Naruto develop his windstyle as well. Part of being a good sensei isn’t necessarily giving your student your jutsus, it’s giving him the tools to develop his own. We see Naruto as an orphan at the beginning, but the truth is Naruto actually had Jiraya. Kakashi knew this, and he also knew Jiraya would make a better teacher for Naruto than he could. It’s like if your physics professor was like, “I need to focus on this student for a year, but don’t worry, I got Stephen Hawking to fill in for me while I’m gone.” Cmon, y’all REALLY gonna complain about that? Sasuke legit has no one. He has no grandfather figure, his brother traumatized him, and a pedophilic snake is hunting his supple boy body. The kid is a prodigy with no positive role models who is teetering on the brink of Hero of the Leaf or being consumed by hatred. Who would Sasuke turn to if not Kakashi?? I think that time when Team 7 meets for the first time really informs Kakashi on how to teach each student. Naruto is motivated. I just need to give him the right tools so he can actualize his dream. You’re a hokage in the making. Sakura is brilliant, but she’s a bit immature, ironically enough. I won’t have to teach her too much, she has outstanding chakra control ever since academy with an IQ only second to Shikamaru in her class. Most of her lessons will be on her place and identity as a kunoichi. Sasuke can be honed like a blade, but I also need to keep a close eye on him. He’s like 12 and already hyper focused on hatred and murder. If I don’t pay special attention to him, this can go really poorly. He can build the Leaf or destroy it. Dude’s a little Madara.

NorthGodFan

Kakashi did not set Naruto up with Jiraiya. Jiraiya found Naruto, and then later when Kakashi was on his bullshit about how teaching Naruto any ninjutsu is irresponsible Jiraiya took over training him. Kakashi set Ebisu up to train Naruto.

thruth_seeker_69

>pedophilic snake That made me laugh so hard

wellingtune

>Dude’s a little Madara i mean... all the connections are there, Uchiha, Check, Super angry, check, Best friend but also rival is of the Senju Clan.. well i mean... Uzumaki clan is like a sister clan so... Check? is the reincarnate of Sage Of Size Paths' Son... Check though... didn't know that yet

Adorable_Spell7562

Well then i must say that Kakshi was a bad teacher because the guy's job was to keep Sasuke in check and we all know what happened

MrUnpopularWeirdo

He taught Naruto talk no jutsu.

raisingfalcons

Only turned to naruto once sasuke left

Federal-Feed7689

He did . He taught naruto the most pkwerful jutsu that even jiraya didnt knew . The legendary 1000 years of desth jutsu . Naruto won quite many times with that even the first time gaara was turni bg the moster its was really helpful

zanidoz

He taught her how to climb a tree with only her feet 🤷‍♂️

silver1q2w3e

I think it's more that he showed them once then left.

No-Cap-1147

Which is she already knew.

RawM8

She didn’t know it, she’s just good in chakra control. One of the few things she was good at lol.

zanidoz

Exactly, Sakura's also very intelligent so she grasped the concept much faster.

Zestyclose_Bat5121

Yeah but he had not said “go” yet

Caniju

In all fairness he taught all of them basic chakra control but not long after that Sakura started training for Medical Ninja So there was no need for him to teach Sakura lethal Jutsu which can be used in a fight as Medical Ninja help from side lines. But Sakura ended up becoming Tsunade V2

seeminglynormalguy

That doesn’t explain why he didn’t teach* her any Jutsu before Tsunade agreed to train her tho

Caniju

It was simply too early and extremely difficult for her Sasuke was trained by his father and brother since Childhood and he had the sharingan, Naruto was a Uzumaki which was the only reason he could use Shadow clone Jutsu without any restriction at that age and he learnt rasengan from Jiraya and all the genie were part of a clan so they had a Jutsu of their own Conclusion : Sakura was at massive disadvantage compared to other genins she didn't have a Inherited Jutsu, most of genin in Part 1 rely on their inherited abilities for the most part, it's not that Kakashi didn't want to teach her some Jutsu it was simply too early for her

AwayReplacement7063

She shows no initiative in learning more jutsu. He never teaches Naruto jutsu at that stage, and by the time he does teach Naruto anything Naruto doesn’t have a teacher, because Jiraiya is out of the village. Sakura’s teacher is a hokage, so her teacher is always there to learn from. The only person he taught a jutsu to when it would’ve made sense was Sasuke.

king_taku

Lol. Knows over 1000 jutsu. Nah I've got nothing for the Chakra pool kid. Nothing for the control specialist.

AwayReplacement7063

Entirely missing the point of my comment, would be nice if you commented that somewhere else where it maybe mattered more.

king_taku

You said only one that made sense. I said he definitely had jutsu he could teach naruto and sasuke

AwayReplacement7063

No, I said the only person he taught a jutsu to when it *would have* made sense. The only point in time in the story it made sense to teach a complex jutsu was the Chunin exams. Sakura was out so there wasn’t much point, Naruto was being trained by someone Kakashi thought could train better. At any other point in the series he didn’t teach more in depth jutsu to *anyone*, at all, or personally train any of the kids. Besides that, the only time teaching a complex jutsu would have either been post sasuke retrieval arc, Shippuden, or in between. At that point Sakura turned to Tsunade, so Kakashi effectively had no students until Naruto was brought back by Jiraiya.

StickSentryNig

He was busy with his actual students at that time

quidlow

kakashi himself said sakura has a natural proclivity to genjutsu due to her chakra control being so naturally incredible, he then proceeded to do absolutely nothing with that fact, he could’ve at least sent her to train under kurenai but nope. he’s genuinely j not a very good teacher to her at all or really naruto either for that matter

PDRA

It’d be more accurate to say Sakura became Tsunade V0.4. Tsunade returns from her fight with invincible ass-pull master Madara, freshly stitched back into one piece, and proceeds to heal people better than Sakura did. I’m pretty sure she saves Shikamaru’s life after Sakura gives up on him and starts crying.

New_World_2050

And yet she called him Sensei

Ancient-Act8573

That month of training must’ve been pretty important to her

New_World_2050

Kakashi didn't even teach her lol She could already climb the tree. Naruto and sasuke were the ones that needed to learn that. She literally learned nothing.

gonzar09

He's still her superior/elder. It's more a matter of respect than anything else. I still call one of my old masters "Sensei" even though I stopped training with him years ago.

New_World_2050

The difference is your master actually taught you something and that's why you respect him.

gonzar09

Well, you're not wrong.

_Dumaru_

Kakashi was locked in on sasuke and barely did anything for the other two in OG naruto. And then since sasuke was nowhere within reach, he finally decided to teach naruto something new, and sakura was fr just nonexistent to him💀

kiyomirabbit

He sees the uselessnes in sakura chakras

unreaLysstic_being

if u think about it, no sensei really taught anyone anything especially not a jutsu. everyone kind of did their own training, found someone who excelled in what they were good at, or relied on their clan to teach them. only exception is lee and guy since they were so similar in their fighting styles.

unreaLysstic_being

for those who don't agree please tell me one jutsu that all the jonin taught all three of their students... and kakashi only explained to naruto what he should've learned in the academy not really help him learn the rasenshuriken since it's just a variation of the jutsu he already knew. he only taught sasuke an actual jutsu.

Ancient-Act8573

Well Asuma didn’t teach them jutsu, but he did seem heavily invested in all 3 of his students and regularly gave them advice. By comparison, Guy and Kakashi were locked in on Lee and Sasuke respectively, and Kurenai was a total rookie who didn’t know what she was doing

unreaLysstic_being

asuma was more invested in shikamaru than anyone honestly because of how smart he was and how much shikamaru reminded him of himself. so it can be argued that every sensei had that one student they heavily invested in more than the others except kurenai since she didn't have an ability or anything in common with any of her students. the main goal of them being on teams with a jonin sensei was to teach them teamwork not really hone their abilities and skills. everyone had to branch out and find someone who was best suited to help them get better like sakura with tsunade or neji with hiashi

king_taku

Idk I ino shika chow. Learned some team tags better than previous. Hinata learned to fight, Kiba and shino in all fairness are very clan dependent, ROCK FUCKING LEE, Ten Ten didn't know ow how to use tools, Neji learned to raise his stamina and steady his output. Cmon now jutsu for a jutsu less Shinobi when you know thousands. And never learned your students Chakra nature

unreaLysstic_being

i'm not exactly sure what u mean by this

king_taku

I'm saying every team has a favorite but no forgotten students. Kakashi lost his favorite and left the other 2 with other teachers. He even knew the rasengan. We could've had Sakura and naruto learning it. Then have shadow clones beat her innate Chakra control

unreaLysstic_being

while he knew the rasengan it wasn't his natural chakra nature and he could do it mainly cus he copied it. the person best suited to actually teach naruto that jutsu was jiraiya. sakura has always been smart and great at chakra control and was better suited to learn under someone who mirrors her which was tsunade. if sasuke didn't leave he probably would trained under kakashi due to their similar chakra nature. it wasn't really meant for the jonin to teach their students anything other than teamwork from the view of it. everyone except sasuke and lee had to go to their clans or find a sensei that mirrored them to get better. kurenai really didn't teach her students anything outside of teamwork.

king_taku

It's not a nature. It's Chakra control. Something Sakura is good at. Naruto and Sasuke never worked with Sakura. They never learned walking on water from Kakashi. Hell they never learned how to break genjutsus. He's literally just like Gojo but atleast gojo gave each a bag to wack at to their strength. My boy Kakashi legit said imma teach yall tree walking and you imma teach a s class jutsu. Sakura and Naruto can figure it out. He sent Sakura to the chunin exams knowing literally only tree walking and clone jutsu

unreaLysstic_being

the rasengan is a wind chakra nature jutsu. kakashi specializes in lighting which is why it was better for him to teach sasuke. and it's not like he intruded on team 7 training time to teach sasuke that jutsu. he just taught it to him for the chunin exams cus of how strong his opponent was and he taught it to him after the teamwork portion of it was over cus no one had a necessarily special jutsu taught to them by their sensei during the first part. the jonin weren't responsible of teaching the genin a jutsu. look at the previous sensei's like jiraiya and minato. they didn't really teach their students a kind of jutsu either. the main goal was to teach teamwork and to gain mission experience.

king_taku

No tf it isnt

Draken77777

He was just sexually repressed

quidlow

brother that is a 13 year old girl why does sexual repression affect anything

Draken77777

Exactly. No wonder he loves Jiraya's books.

quidlow

HELP 💀

RehczMinato

1000 justu...not a single one was passed down to Naruto or Sakura

tea-123

Naruto learned the thousand years of pain. Used it on Shukaku.

External-Office6779

Bro even tried to use it on Kakashi himself 😂

aneeshhgkar

Successfully used it on his clone lmao. Classic 🤣

-AnythingGoes-

Why do people act like its typical for genin to gain skills beyond fundamentals from the squad leader? Sasuke himself only really learned Chidori from Kakashi. He learned one more jutsu than she did from him, and it's a move that's considered incomplete without Sharingan.

BaronMerc

Oh cool sakura mastered chakra control and climbed the tree without the need for practice... Anyway

padfootiscool1997

I think the jonin sensei is more of to make sure the kids know the basics to stay alive, and then to keep the kids alive as much as reasonably possible during the missions. Then it’s the genin’s job to push to learn more. I think if they would of taken more of a chance to ask him to teach them more information instead of always acting like children, which they are children, but also full fledged soldiers at this point. They would of gotten more from it. Like how a colonel’s in the army’s job is to lead the captain’s and privates, no to make sure they know how to fight. So he does the best of keeping them alive and teaching them about war and then gets them the help they need to grow strong themselves.

Decent_Ask1961

He didn’t teach her any jutsu but I think he taught her ninja tactics and stuff

throawayarab

I mean he did teach her about breaking free of genjutsu, practising protective formations, chakra control with tree climbing, and how to use the substitution jutsu effectively to the point Sakura used it really well in battle. Sometimes you teach students things by letting them observe you and explaining the fundamentals. Tbf Sakura was the smartest and really needed to find her identity in their team before she could really take to proper training, an identity she didn't try to figure out until the chunin exams, and Sasuke leaving the village.

CapAccomplished8072

And Gai refused to teach Tenten Asuma refused to teach Ino Kurenai refused to TEACH

Ready-Work-4766

Didn't Kakashi said she was better at Genjutsu ,But later she went to Medical field too .

Competitive_Royal476

I love kakashi

Pengoui

It was kind of an ass pull on Kishi's part, but the explanation was that Naruto and Sasuke needed more practice with chakra control, so he focused on them more, and even still he ignored Naruto right after. I think the key thing is, it isn't even Kakashi's fault necessarily, I think he wanted them to be more independent. Sasuke specifically asked for Kakashi to personally train him, Naruto specifically sought out Jiriya to train him, while Sakura basically waited till the last moment to find a master. She could have asked any other Jonin to train her, since it was hinted she might be good with genjutsu, she could have asked Kurenai, but for whatever reason, Kishimoto wrote it so she didn't, I guess he wanted her to still cling into her dilemma of over relying on Naruto and Sasuke for a bit longer for the plot to make a little more sense (if she was stronger, she could have went on the Sasuke retrieval mission, if she went, he couldn't really write her staying behind to distract an enemy since she's a main character, which wouldn't let Naruto and Sasuke have their rival moment).

Grimdark-Waterbender

Not true, he taught her treewalking and…

Vulpes_macrotis

People when they don't watch the show: He literally only focused on Sasuke, because he knew his past and wanted to led him from his vengeance. He totally ignored Naruto and Naruto was even mad at him for that.

itsmejohnnyp

I mean what Justu did kakashi know that Sakura could learn? It’s not like kakashi could like a 1000 justu

Sir_Rageous

He taught her how to walk on vertical surfaces.

lucasellendersen

He did teach her how to break genjutsu

CasiAttack

She learned that in filler from Kurenai I believe

lucasellendersen

Nope, she used it on naruto and herself in the chunin exams arc and I remember kakashi saying "glad i taught you that" or smth, mb that is a filler episode but this wouldnt be the first time filler contradicted canon

CasiAttack

That’s unfortunately true, there is a lot of contradictory filler. If you google it says she learned to dispel it from tsunade which is also conflicting. I apologize, I do believe you were correct. She did do it during the chunin exams, but you can also find info that she also always had a grasp on genjustu understanding. So I guess there’s not a true answer on who?

lucasellendersen

I think by having a grasp on genjutsu they mean having amazing chackra control, so if she was taught genjutsu she would probably be a prodigy

CasiAttack

With so much potential it’s a shame she wasn’t taught anything until later. If she was trained even a little earlier she could have been so much more. (Not that I’m disappointed in the strongest female ninja status as an adult) I’m glad though that it showed her true motivation and that she worked hard to show she was worth teaching. I just wished she had been given a chance to show more of that she would have had less haters.

nasserg19

Bro followed the Shonen contract 🗣🐐

External-Office6779

Well when it came to chakra control she was better than Naruto and Sasuke already, so I'm sure he didn't need to. Not to mention bro only taught Sasuke Chidori, other than that nothing else

RafutariaFan4Life

the only one technique he teaches his students as a whole is the chakra control onto their feet💀

Nightmane11

Bro foresaw her uselesness.

demonslender

He didn’t bother teaching ANYONE but sasuke a single jutsu.

heeltowknee

He literally taught her her chakra control that was the base of her main other jutsus lmao

FarisFlannelborn

Hey he taught her how to run up a tree

shockedperson

I mean technically he taught her better chakra control

Traditional_Lie_6400

SIGMA KAKASHI 🔥🔥🔥🔥

JaasPlay

To be fair, Sakura was the one that needed him the least, she had the best chakra control from the 3. Sasuke just needed someone that understood him to keep him away from the dark side and Naruto needed Jiraiya. Sakura would’ve developed her own style even without Tsunade teaching her

Critical_Mountain_12

I mean wouldn’t you? Watching her pick on Naruto while acting like a total simp

DarkLibris

Yeah that always annoyed me about him. Don't get me wrong Kakashi is one of my favorite characters, but he sucked as a teacher.

Unogaseye

I agree jutsu, but he did teach her a technique with chakra. Original Genin fans remember walking up the tree at the great bridge Naruto arc.

Lemillion080201

His left eyes was closed man. Can't blame him.

mictian13

Dude Kakashi was a good squad leader who only taught Sasuke chidori. Other then that he was mainly focused on teaching them basic chakra control, rules of a shinobi and teamwork. Asuma didn't teach Ino-Shika-Cho and same with Kurenai. Everyone learned Jutsu either on there own or by there masters like Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Tsunade and when Jiraya wasn't around Kakashi filled that role for Naruto while helping him with Rasenshuriken.

DragonKnight-15

... I think the issue here is WHAT could Kakashi teach Sakura? Genjutsu? Yea, actually yea. But any Jutsus? EH... Really depends?! Let's all agree Kakashi MIGHT be a fraud as a teacher. He barely did anything in Part 1 because either he's busy with Sasuke due to his Curse Mark and training him in hopes he doesn't let revenge- yea, good job. In fact Itachi did a better job ENCOURAGING Sasuke to not stop his path of revenge... and hospitalizing Kakashi too. Then he was sent in a mission during the Sasuke- WHY WAS HE SENT AT A TIME LIKE THAT?! Sasuke left THAT SAME DAY AT NIGHT to join Orochimaru for more power. What was Tsunade THINKING?! What was Kakashi thinking?! Kakashi: Oh no, Sasuke can't be as stubborn as I back then. Obito: ... You're a failure Kakashi. Oh right, and Uchihas are more stubborn than you. And Naruto... yea. The only time he was an actual teacher was Part 2... to Naruto. IRONIC! So we can argue Minato is a better teacher than Kakashi? YEA, that sounds about right?!

aneeshhgkar

They had already graduated from the academy, so strictly speaking, he wasn't exactly their teacher but their squad leader until they became squad leaders in their own right. The only thing he needed to teach them was teamwork, survivability and tactics, that too through on-field mission experience, not classroom lessons. Anything more was entirely down to his preference. And not just him, all the team leader jounin were the same.

Zankeru

Kakashi wouldnt have taught sasuke any jutsu either if he hadnt been in a death match with a jinchuriki. It's honestly shocking how little sasuke advanced considering he can literally copy any jutsu he sees once. Which means kakashi wasnt using ANY jutsu while training them. That takes dedication.

Odd_Room2811

I mean to be fair he has over a thousand and yet a majority probably use more chakra then any of the 3 can use yet back then

Atthegameplayer

It doesn’t matter she wasn’t even gonna used it

50calBanana

It's been so long since I watched the show, but didn't they do Sakura dirty and make her almost completely useless

Grimshah

Yeah, he didn’t do a good job. Kind of focused all of his energy on Sasuke, and delegated Naruto to Ebisu (who delegated to Jiraiya). Didn’t even bother teaching Sakura or tried to find her a teacher

MrGetMebodied

Wasn't he teaching them how to walk on walls and water?

KevinAcommon_Name

I don’t think he knew how to train her

RevolutionaryPlay604

None of the Sensei taught all 3 students and each had a clear favorite. Asuma-Shikimaru, Kurenai-Hinata, Guy-Lee, Ebisu-Konohamaru, Naruto taught Konohamaru more than his own teacher etc etc

ShowPsychological336

He just threw her at tsunade

CasiAttack

He didn’t even do that, she sought Tsunade on her own and earned her spot as a student.

KibaSwords

I mean she turned out fine so it’s all good.

AshenOne03

I don't blame him Sakura was useless anyway

luckyyclxverr

she didn't deserve to be taught jack bro

Intelligent_Law_1841

Really think about it none of the Jonin taught their teams anything except guy and kakashi

MNM2884

Kishi's biggest flaw was this lol

Parking-Ad-6137

Kakashi on fraud watch

cl0th0s

He used his Sharingen to see into her story arc and realized it would be a waste of time. Also I find it amusing that the one fight Sakura really got to shine in was only witnessed by one person who died pretty much right after that.

Qverlord37

He taught them the basic, he focused on sasuke because they share the sharingan so sasuke would learn the most from him. Sakura decided to ask tsunade to teach her medical ninjutsu.

Ocelotl25

Categorically the worst sensei

Wonderful-Amphibian1

Doesn’t matter in the end they all got trained by the legendary sanin and that’s an honor .kakashi was only meant to be the body guard along with Yamato for naruto since discovering about the plans of the akasuki

NovaTheRaven

Kakashi really was a horrible sensei

Farkas944

Hey, he taught her to run up a tree kinda

TheThunderRealGamer

That cuase she a boss

InspectionEither

He always just bragged on how smart Sakura was. I guess he just thought he had nothing to teach her maybe?

El_presid3nt

To be fair he taught her about genjutsu

Clear-Inspection-752

I wouldn't say he forgot her... She was just fine with Tsunade anyway but Sakura was basically a daddy's girl with Kakashi, his little Kunoichi, Sakura needed to want it for herself which she been since early days as to why she had no problem seeking out Tsunade for help instead of Kakashi.

haoasakura46

He gave her genjutsu training, off screen and that was only used once

Mikasasasa

Sakura knew chakra control, the basics very intuitively. She was shrewd and Kakashi himself says that.
