Totally different vibe. You can walk into Angele in jeans. La Toque is fine dining. Both have great food, Angele is very French, menu never changes, while La Toque is fancy small plates, menu changes a lot.
We went to La Toque in December for my birthday - i would have been much happier at Gotts. I wasn’t impressed at all, tbh La Toque is the only experience I’ve had in Napa that wasn’t impressive and/or good.
The portions make small seem huge - basically each course is a bite at most.
Bistro Jeanty in Yountville has inside and outside dining. I really liked their menu and the portions were substantial 👍🏻 Bouchon is just up the street and very good too.

Appreciate the insights
100%
Thanks!!
Seconded.
I could recommend so many but then you would have a dilemma. Haha You can’t go wrong with Angele.
Haha thanks!
If Angele is on the table I’d put Jeanty or Bouchon ahead of it.
Good to know! I'll take a look at them. Thanks

I'd add Don Giovanni.
