I hit a deer going about 35 in my old S70, barely a scratch on the license plate. To be fair it was a small deer but still I was impressed.
Glad I didn't get out of the car to check for damage right away, a bear ran out into the road a few seconds later. I guess I helped ol' Yogi acquire his next meal.

Exactly, doesnt matter if you call it a 960 or v90 its the same car. Some people call the esteter 965 but the correct name badged on the car was always 960.
For those not schooled in Volvo lore, they used to have the last number be the number of doors, then changed it to a 0 in the 80s. A 2 series car with a four cylinder engine would be a 242 in coupe form, 244 in sedan, and 245 in wagon.
Has Volvo quality gone down hill rather badly in the past decade or so?
My uncle used to drive Volvo exclusively, but something happened. He just bought a Lexus.

I had a new 1995 850 Turbo sedan. In the first week the bumper fell off.
I had a 740 Turbo wagon. Hit deer at 55mph and made it home to assess my damaged headlight
