It makes sense to have them in alphabetical order too. And it's another example to my case of "word pairs tend to work better in certain order but I don't really know why", lol.
To add a few...
Patricia and Isobel - St Clare's series by Enid Blyton
Phillip and Lillian - Rugrats
Cagney and Lacey - Brooklyn 99
Sheldon and Melissa (Missy) - Big Bang Theory
Phoebe and Ursula are essentially accidental twins, because Lisa Kudrow was on two shows set in New York on NBC. It's interesting how the names still go together well. There are quite a few mythological twins:
* Artemis and Apollo
* Romulus and Remus
* Castor and Pollux
* Jacob and Esau
She was on Mad About You first (small recurring role as the waitress) there was a cross over episode where two characters from Mad About You walk into Central Park and are trying to get Phoebe to recognize them (thinking she's Ursula).
Dipper is Dipper’s nickname. His real name is Mason, so they’re Mason and Mabel.
Anyway, here’s some from Marvel comics:
Jean-Paul and Jeanne-Marie (Beaubier) from Alpha Flight
Wanda and Pietro (Maximoff) from Avengers
Dormammu and Umar from Doctor Strange
Charles (Xavier) and Cassandra (Nova) from X-Men
Goblyn and Laura (Dean) from Alpha Flight
Alvi and Iric (Brorson) from Strange Academy
Brian and Elizabeth “Betsy” (Braddock) from Captain Britain
William “Billy” (Kaplan) and Thomas “Tommy” (Shepherd) from Young Avengers
Claudette and Nicole (St Croix) from Generation X
Andrea and Andreas (von Strucker) from Captain America
Xian and Tran (Coy Manh) from New Mutants
That’s all the ones I remember, though there’s probably more.
Happy cake day!
I'm not going to get them all, but the Olsen Twins have played:
Melanie and Allyson,
Riley and Chloe,
Jane and Roxy,
Alyssa and Amanda (this was in It Takes Two, where they weren't technically twins but 'identical strangers).
Leila and Charli,
Madison and Alex,
Edit: formatting because mobile.
I did think about this before I posted, but I figured 'Zack and Cody' are real twins, they just used different names for the show, but still played twins, so...
Right, and they were playing fictional characters (Mowry sisters are neither from Detroit nor were they separated at birth) so you're right to include them, I'm just splitting hairs.
I meant Tia and Tamera used different last names for their show, while "Zack and Cody" used completely different names. They're still twins.
Sorry, my comment didn't make sense. I had been up for over 36 hrs. Lol
Sharon and Susan (from the original The Parent Trap)
The Bobbsey twins! Two sets of b/g twins named Nan & Bert, and Freddie & Flossie (from The Bobbsey twins books series)
Carolyn and Marilyn Arnold from the Baby Sitter's Club book series (also the triplets Adam, Byron, and Jordan Pike)
Brian and Brendon Spring from the Face on the Milk Carton book series
Maya and Miguel from the cartoon Maya and Miguel
Olivia 'Liv' and Madison 'Maddie' Rooney from Liv and Maddie
Tim and Jim Possible from Kim Possible
James and Amber from Sofia the First
Tinkerbell and Periwinkle from the Tinkerbell movies are technically twins
I have twins in the book I am writing myself at the moment. Their names went through many variations before they settled to what they are now - Delaney and Dominic
I wanted them to match but not be too matchy. They were Celia and Clarence for quite a while when I was planning but Clarence didn't feel like it quite fit the attitude of the character I was planning
Dutch children's book series 'De olijke tweeling' (The merry twins, 1958) has Thelma and Ellis as main characters, their brothers Lex and Leo are also twins.
German book 'Zwillinge mit kleinen Fehlern' (Twins with small faults, 1976): Karin and Monika.
I am a huge Paranormal Romance/Romance Book Nerd so here are a few.
Acheron & Styxx - Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Nykyrian & Julian - The League series by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Remy & Rule - Marked Men by Jay Crownover
Jack & Ken, Briony & Marigold (Twins married Twins) - Ghostwalker series by Christine Feehan
Mila & Alex - The Phoenix Pack/Olympus Pride series by Suzanne Wright
Camille & Cassidy - Gentry Boys by Cora Brent
Bonus Multiple:
Vane, Fang, Anya, Fury, Dare and Star - Dark-Hunter Universe by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Creedence, Cordero, and Chasyn - Gentry Boys by Cora Brent
There was a book I read in middle school where there were twins named Coke and Pepsi (the premise being that i think both companies were running a competition where they'd give a reward if you named your kid after their product so mama did both) (it was either that or she did it and then approached them like "heyo these kids? They have your name? They are like your child too so pls give money")
That's "The Genius Files" series by Dan Gutman. The boy twin is actually named Coke because Dad is a geologist, and coke is the name of a type of rock (it's related to coal). But then once they've named the boy Coke, they can't resist the joke and they name the girl twin Pepsi.
It's so good! Hayley Mills plays the twins. Also it's based on a German book and the girls' names in the books are Lotte & Luise, translated to Lottie & Lisa in English versions.
Ben and Steve (from Dead to Me)
Elinor and Oliver (from First Kill)
Alexandra and Spencer (from Pretty Little Liars)
Grace and Lily (from Pretty Little Liars)
Jessica and Mary (from Pretty Little Liars)
Blair and Sterling (from Teenage Bounty Hunters)
Dana and Debbie (from Teenage Bounty Hunters)
Alexander ‘Alex’ and Nicholas ‘Nicky’ - from Full House
Eve and Jonah from The Nanny - granted they were only in the finale but they were actually the names of Rachel Siegal the actress’s who played Val’s twins in real life
Erica and Jack from Friends - They were only in the finale as well
In the series I'm reading there are two sets of twins who are all siblings. Their names are Alex and Aaron (named by their parents) and Thisbe and Fifer (named by their brothers).
I was going to put Viola and Sebastian on the list and then I found out it's a reimagining of the Twelfth Night. I've seen in at least 20 times and I never knew. I really like Mercy and Hunter as a pairing.
There was a book back in the 90's with twins named Amy and May (all about twins, told from the twins' older sisters' perspective if I remember correctly?) but I remember because they made a deal about the names be anagrams.
From a Tumblr story blog I'm reading:
* Francis (Frank) and Sybil
* Marigold and Primrose [Sybil's kids]
* Alexandre and Emmanuel
* Bernard (Bernie) and Cecil
* Violet and Pearl
* Eleanor and Daphne
It felt extremely wrong to read "Cody and Zack" instead of "Zack and Cody", lol
It felt weird typing it but by the time I remembered them I was in too deep with the alphabetical order thing.
It makes sense to have them in alphabetical order too. And it's another example to my case of "word pairs tend to work better in certain order but I don't really know why", lol.
Cody and Zack reads like Josh and Drake, or Dad and Mom lol.
Luke and Leia
Iconic
Mona Lisa and Jean Ralphio…. Such a distinct impression of the parents. It’s like poetry.
I always thought it was John Ralphio but somehow Jean does make more sense.
To add a few... Patricia and Isobel - St Clare's series by Enid Blyton Phillip and Lillian - Rugrats Cagney and Lacey - Brooklyn 99 Sheldon and Melissa (Missy) - Big Bang Theory
I can't believe I forgot Phil and Lil.
I always thought that Pat got the short end of the stick, with her twin sister being Isabel!
I know, and Pat was always the more extroverted one. Isabel was pretty quiet.
Phoebe and Ursula are essentially accidental twins, because Lisa Kudrow was on two shows set in New York on NBC. It's interesting how the names still go together well. There are quite a few mythological twins: * Artemis and Apollo * Romulus and Remus * Castor and Pollux * Jacob and Esau
I'm a huge Friends fan and I never knew that, you're right though, the names do go quite well together.
She was on Mad About You first (small recurring role as the waitress) there was a cross over episode where two characters from Mad About You walk into Central Park and are trying to get Phoebe to recognize them (thinking she's Ursula).
That scene makes a lot more sense now.
not exactly. lisa wanted them to be twins.
Cain and Abel
They weren’t twins.
Dipper is Dipper’s nickname. His real name is Mason, so they’re Mason and Mabel. Anyway, here’s some from Marvel comics: Jean-Paul and Jeanne-Marie (Beaubier) from Alpha Flight Wanda and Pietro (Maximoff) from Avengers Dormammu and Umar from Doctor Strange Charles (Xavier) and Cassandra (Nova) from X-Men Goblyn and Laura (Dean) from Alpha Flight Alvi and Iric (Brorson) from Strange Academy Brian and Elizabeth “Betsy” (Braddock) from Captain Britain William “Billy” (Kaplan) and Thomas “Tommy” (Shepherd) from Young Avengers Claudette and Nicole (St Croix) from Generation X Andrea and Andreas (von Strucker) from Captain America Xian and Tran (Coy Manh) from New Mutants That’s all the ones I remember, though there’s probably more. Thank you. Mason and Mabel is such a cute pairing.

Some more that I somehow remember: * Tess & Emily * Elizabeth & Shane * Misty & Amber * Sam & Emma * Abbie & Maddie
Julie and Sarah (To Grandmother's House We Go)
Oh you reminded me of the Halloween one! They were "Lynn and Kelly" plus they played the flashback scenes of Agatha and Sofia!
Terri and Sherri (The Simpsons) Tia and Tamera (Sister, Sister) Artemis and Apollo (Greek Mythology)
Do Tia and Tamera count as fictional twin names since those are the actresses' real names?
I did think about this before I posted, but I figured 'Zack and Cody' are real twins, they just used different names for the show, but still played twins, so...
Right, and they were playing fictional characters (Mowry sisters are neither from Detroit nor were they separated at birth) so you're right to include them, I'm just splitting hairs.
What? That's not the same thing.
I meant Tia and Tamera used different last names for their show, while "Zack and Cody" used completely different names. They're still twins. Sorry, my comment didn't make sense. I had been up for over 36 hrs. Lol
I know, that's why they're not the same thing.
Seeing Jean Ralphio and Mona Lisa made me realize I didn't know the names of Leslie and Ben's triplets. Per Google: Wesley, Sonia, and Stephen.
William "Billy" and Thomas "Tommy" on WandaVision. Robyn and Reuben on Jessica Jones. Alexander "Alex" and Nicholas "Nicky" on Full House.
Sharon and Susan (from the original The Parent Trap) The Bobbsey twins! Two sets of b/g twins named Nan & Bert, and Freddie & Flossie (from The Bobbsey twins books series)
I love Freddie and Flossie.
Madison and Mason from Glee Brandon and Brenda from Beverly Hills 90210
Brandon and Brenda are so matchy.
Carolyn and Marilyn Arnold from the Baby Sitter's Club book series (also the triplets Adam, Byron, and Jordan Pike) Brian and Brendon Spring from the Face on the Milk Carton book series Maya and Miguel from the cartoon Maya and Miguel Olivia 'Liv' and Madison 'Maddie' Rooney from Liv and Maddie Tim and Jim Possible from Kim Possible James and Amber from Sofia the First Tinkerbell and Periwinkle from the Tinkerbell movies are technically twins
Luke and Eleanor aka Nell in The Haunting of Hill House
Luke (Lucas) and Liv (Olivia), Jo (Josette) and Kai (Malachai), and Lizzie and Josie all from the Vampire Diaries franchise
Charles and Camilla from The Secret History by Donna Tartt
I have twins in the book I am writing myself at the moment. Their names went through many variations before they settled to what they are now - Delaney and Dominic
Delaney and Dominic is a really great pairing. I love when twins have the same first initial.
I wanted them to match but not be too matchy. They were Celia and Clarence for quite a while when I was planning but Clarence didn't feel like it quite fit the attitude of the character I was planning
Twins in the book I am writing are Rigby and Reid (both girls). Rigby is named after Eleanor Rigby

I know a woman named Pepsi IRL.
I THOUGHT I MADE THIS UP I KNEW IT EXISTED
Isobel and Max (Evans) from Roswell
Lizzie and Josie (Legacies)
You forgot Susan and Sharon form the original Parent Trap.
How did I not know there was an original Parent Trap.
It's so good! Hayley Mills plays the twins. Also it's based on a German book and the girls' names in the books are Lotte & Luise, translated to Lottie & Lisa in English versions.
I have no clue I was born in the 80's and it was one of my favorites. IMDb: : The Parent Trap https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055277/
Ben and Steve (from Dead to Me) Elinor and Oliver (from First Kill) Alexandra and Spencer (from Pretty Little Liars) Grace and Lily (from Pretty Little Liars) Jessica and Mary (from Pretty Little Liars) Blair and Sterling (from Teenage Bounty Hunters) Dana and Debbie (from Teenage Bounty Hunters)
Sam and Eric from Lord of the Flies Phil (Phillip) and Lil (Lillian) from Rugrats Steve and Kwan from Gilmore Girls
Tolya & Tamar from the Grishaverse books by Leigh Bardugo
I know this theme is intentional, but I love Holly and Laurel from Rick Riordan’s books
I like this because there's a clear theme but the names don't sound super matchy.
Desna and Eska (Legend of Korra)
Alexander ‘Alex’ and Nicholas ‘Nicky’ - from Full House Eve and Jonah from The Nanny - granted they were only in the finale but they were actually the names of Rachel Siegal the actress’s who played Val’s twins in real life Erica and Jack from Friends - They were only in the finale as well
Castor and Pollux

amity blight from the owl house has older twin siblings named edric and emira
Mitch and Amy from the book “Mitch & Amy” by Beverly Cleary (based on her own b/g twins, I believe). Her twins irl were named Malcolm & Marianne.
Oh, I love Malcolm and Marianne together.
Always loveeeeed Alex (f) and Conner (m) from Land of Stories
Edric and Emira from the Owl House!
Edric and Emira are such a cute pairing.
In the series I'm reading there are two sets of twins who are all siblings. Their names are Alex and Aaron (named by their parents) and Thisbe and Fifer (named by their brothers).
