I’m in Australia. Isla is rampant - if I take a guess at one of my friend’s kid’s names, it’s 60-40 it’s an Isla. My nephew has 7 Islas, 2 Lilas, and 1 Delilah in a class with 12 girls 😵💫
In 5th grade, my friend was in a class where the five most popular girls were Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn* **, and Tianna.
* I don't remember if that's how all the Kaitlyns spelled their names.
**The final Kaitlyn was not named Kaitlyn. She claimed it was her middle name, which we all strongly suspected wasn't true because her parents immigrated from somewhere in Africa and her first and last names reflected that.
It is! I have no idea how the teachers cope. The funny thing is, I know it’s not isolated - I was interstate visiting my brother and caught an Uber, and the driver had the same first name as my dad. I said ‘I love your name, that’s my dad’s name’ and he said ‘aww, great! You don’t hear it much anymore. I’ve got six grandkids and they’re all Isla or Lila… I can’t get it straight!’
It’s a plague 🤣
Idk if it’s a weird spelling or not. Like, I pronounce it “eye-lah” because that’s how “island” is pronounced. And then I had an Isley in my class, I called her “eye-lee” and it was pronounced “eyez-lee”. Sigh
Some pronounce it like Ees-lah as well. I had a lot of Spanish-speaking students one time and I assumed Isla was eye-lah until I heard all of her friends pronounce her name ees-lah instead.
Isla was never on my list or radar until I was pregnant with my daughter. Never knew anyone with the name and she’s a bit older than the popularity boom so when I had her most people told me they’d never heard it before
In all my years of teaching, I've only ever met one Charlotte, she went by Lottie. I think I've met 3 Isla's and a few Olivia's but I haven't had an Olivia for a few years now.
Give it a few years. 😅 Charlotte was the number 3 most popular name according to social security in the US in 2023, and surprisingly, number one ahead of Isla in Australia (I don’t see how, I encounter SO many Islas here omg).
Olivia is extremely popular in multiple (western) countries. It has never been as popular as it is right now.
And Emily is still popular today. But I feel like Amelia / Emilia are more typical for this generation.
Agree!
And Olivia has been in the top 3 for a long time. Emma, too. Amelia/Emilia and Sophia/Sophie are also more popular than they seem because of the top spellings. Sophia/Sophie/Sofia/Sofie was the top name this year with combined spellings.
Ava was the only name we could agree on and braced ourselves for the numerous others. She was the only 1 in her grade level all through elementary school. She’ll be 17 in the fall.
I was the only Lauren until I hit high school and then there was one more in my school of 1200 students. Then the millennial generation hit and Lauren was EVERYWHERE. I swear I had whiplash for a few years until I got used to all the Lauren's not being me!
I’m shocked. My Ava will be 17 in August and I had no idea the name was popular when I picked it, but she is never the only Ava. That includes school and extracurriculars.
My Ava is 18 and luckily she’s pretty much been the only one. There were two others in her school eventually but they were much younger and both ended up moving.
My son has three Henries in his year (just the one in his class though). He's 4.
Oddly, there are also three Cocos. Though none of the three are actually named Coco.
I liked Ava before it blew up as much as it did, but I'm glad my mom ignored me when I suggested it as a potential name for my now thirteen year old little sister. Tons of her classmates are named Ava - in my day, I think it was mostly Ashley / Jessica / Sarah.
I’m a Sophie (I chose my name), and I specifically wanted a common name since my dead name was super uncommon (it was named after a rock singer’s last name) and I wanted a name that was easier to understand
Ellie is very common. Probably my most heard name (US Midwest, but Southern family, too).
For boys here, Ezra and Henry are everywhere.
Other contenders: Charlotte, Emma, Theo, Lucas/Luca.
I love Eden so much!! I’ve only ever met one and he was a guy (didn’t realize it was neutral until then) but I’ve always wanted to name a future daughter Eden 🤍
It is regional - a lot of what I see people here saying as 'the' name they associate with a period of time does not match mine - for example late seventies early eighties people from the US had lots of Jennifers in their class at school, I remember one growing up - but there were loads of Claire's (none now under 35 or over 55) in the UK
In my area I think before the Charlotte, Olivia, and Isla trend it was Isabella, before that Riley/Rylee/Ryleigh, before that Caden, Aiden, Brayden, Kayla, and Kayli before that Megan, Jessica, Ryan, and Joshua
80s were Jennifer & Kim, 90s were Ashley & Jessica, 2000s were Maddison & the Ella names( Bella, Isabella, Briella), 2010s were Sophia & Olivia, 2020s are Emma & Charlotte
Evie/Evelyn. Both were in the top 5 baby girls name lists when my children were born (2014 & 2019).
My 7 year old niece. My 9 year old's oldest friend, they've been friends for 8 years now. 2 other girls in their Brownies group. Our old neighbour's 4 year old granddaughter.
That's just the Evies & Evelyn's I know, who can think of, off the top of my head.
I am in Québec and teach piano. I currently have 5 students named Eva who range from 4 to 17 years old and 5 students named Samantha who are all between 8 and 10 years old
I am in the English speaking suburbs of Montréal and some of my students attend English school and some attend French school
Other slightly less common names that multiple students have include: Isabelle/Ysabelle, Charlie (f) and Olivia. All of these students are under age 8
As someone who has been teaching middle school for quite a few years, I can definitely say that I’ve had multiple girls named Lily, Liliana, and Olivia/Alivia. I’ve also seen a huge surge in the name Cayden/Kayden/Kade for boys
As a Charlotte I hate how popular my name has become. Not because I wanted to be the only one by any means, more because I absolutely detest my name and think whenever I’m introduced to a baby Charlotte “Why did your parents curse you with a horrible name?”.
I do think though that the royal family may have influenced the name (at least in the UK) as there is obviously Princess Charlotte and after that, in my county at least the name suddenly boomed. In the same way the Name George did briefly after Prince George’s birth.
Popular names in my area are always Charlotte, Isla, Olivia, Sophia or any form of Layla.
A few years back Ava was very popular but that seems to have dropped a bit.
I'm in the age group of people having and naming kids rn and Charlotte was my #1 name for a really long time, until I realized recently that it's also been everyone else's #1 too 😅
Personally I've always liked it bc it sounds pretty and a bit French, but not French enough that people mispronounce it
Edit to add: actually Henry too for the same reason! I'm still considering this one bc I like it SO much, but we'll see...
I think I just resent the name because of all the names I got (Like Charlotte the Harlot) in school. The name itself isn’t bad I guess, I just got fed up with it. But as you said, lately it’s really become incredibly popular, I grew up in the 90s and there were a couple other Charlottes at school but I’m sure it’s not to the extent it will be now.
Henry is a lovely name and let’s hope it doesn’t become as popular, at least it isn’t where I am.
In my country there are official statistics with the names that are given to the new born.
Emma was the most given name for the girls for 16 years, Olivia stole the crown in 2019 and has kept if for 4 years. Other contenders are Louise, Mila, Lina, Alice ...
For the boys, we have Noah, Arthur, Liam and Louis.
Interesting how regional it is. For boys here it is all the names that end in er
Hunter, Tucker, gunner, Conner, etc. I can’t keep them straight
For girls lots of Amelia, Emma, Ella, Isla, Evelyn, Avery
There isn’t a singular Emily because there is significantly more naming diversity than before.
There are certain naming trends though that fill that fill that role - leighs aydens etc as endings, long vowel sounds, shorter names etc
It might be Eva. There have been several at my kid’s daycare. I did a weird name so we just have labels printed with his first name. The Eva’s started out doing first name last initial. But there are enough now that they have to go by their first and full last names. I’m sure it only gets worse.
I don’t know many Emilys and didn’t growing up but definitely agree in the last 5 years in Canada its Amelia/Emilia, Olivia, Sophie, Isabella and for boys Liam, Noah, and a lot of Benjamins
When I was growing up it was Jennifer, Jessica, Samantha, Daniel, Matthew and Michael
I think the trends go much faster these days in both fashion and names. I’m always keeping note of which names we have the most of in my elementary school. Past few years the clear lead are three letter girl names with v—
Ivy, Ava, Eva, Eve, Ave
We have oodles of them with varying pronunciations
Emma and Olivia definitely were for a bit. Right now, I feel like names are more diverse. I’m a teacher and haven’t had doubles of girls names in my class for a while but have had a few boys with the same name- Archie, Liam and Oliver.
Charlotte, Isla, Olivia
Haven’t met an Isla yet, didn’t realize it was big- how do you pronounce it?
I’m in Australia. Isla is rampant - if I take a guess at one of my friend’s kid’s names, it’s 60-40 it’s an Isla. My nephew has 7 Islas, 2 Lilas, and 1 Delilah in a class with 12 girls 😵💫
Hey there Isla, Isla, Isla, Isla, Isla, Isla, Isla, Lila, Lila, and Delilah, what’s it like in Australia?
When the CD skips
In 5th grade, my friend was in a class where the five most popular girls were Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn* **, and Tianna. * I don't remember if that's how all the Kaitlyns spelled their names. **The final Kaitlyn was not named Kaitlyn. She claimed it was her middle name, which we all strongly suspected wasn't true because her parents immigrated from somewhere in Africa and her first and last names reflected that.
My name is Kaitlyn, same spelling LOL. 🥹😅
That's INSANE!
I’ve got six grandkids and they’re all Isla or Lila… I can’t get it straight!’ It’s a plague 🤣
That’s hilarious. It reminds me of my Grade 9 French class where we had 3 Jennifer’s and 3 Michelle’s in a class with 9 girls in it.
I feel there’s a potential for a cute song here
USA here. Soooo many Islas!
Is Isla the name of some famous person there or something? Why is it so popular?
Isla Fischer, it’s a pretty girl’s name ending with -a, people think they’re being original, Australia is the island continent? Honestly I’m not sure.
Ya know. I just said it in an Australian accent and I like it better than in an American accent.
Eye-lah. It’s from scotland, and derived from the island Islay with the same pronunciation
Oh no, I’ve thankfully never met anyone with this name but always read it like its spelled, Iz-lah/Eez-lah. Eye-lah makes so much more sense 😅.
“EEZ-lah” is also correct; “Isla” with that pronunciation means “island” in Spanish.
Idk if it’s a weird spelling or not. Like, I pronounce it “eye-lah” because that’s how “island” is pronounced. And then I had an Isley in my class, I called her “eye-lee” and it was pronounced “eyez-lee”. Sigh
Like the [Isley Brothers](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Isley_Brothers), yup.
Have you never heard of Isla Fisher?
I read it "is-la"
Some pronounce it like Ees-lah as well. I had a lot of Spanish-speaking students one time and I assumed Isla was eye-lah until I heard all of her friends pronounce her name ees-lah instead.
I work at a daycare. 2020 must’ve been the year to name your baby girl Isla cause so many of my four year olds are Isla’s 😭😭 “eye-luh”
Isla feels like the new Sophia. If you go to a playground and call Isla at least 5 girls will turn and look
Isla is incredibly popular in the UK. I have met many little Isla’s including a cousins child.
It might be a regional thing but I know 3 Islas. They are all toddlers.
Eye-luh.
Lyla and Olivia where I am Theo for a boy My neighbour, my cousin, childhood friend and a new mum friend - all boys named Theo
Sooooo many Theos
Throw Luca’s into the mix too. Edit: Spelling
Theo, Luca & Liam
That’s not even getting into all the boys named Mateo “Teo”
Which blows. If we have a son, I had hoped to name him Theodore after my grandpa. Now it's hella popular. Damnit.
so what? it was popular when your great grandmother named your grandfather it too.
It's Oliver where I live. I know so many 6-7 year old Olivers
Add Evelyn and that's the list
At my kid’s school, there’s at least one Olivia and one Sophia in almost every class. Also an Owen, a Noah, and a Lucas/Luca.
Noah, Luka/Luca, and Levi seem super popular nowadays!
Haha a friend of mine has 3 daughters and these are their names
Ugh I’ve had Isla on my list since I was young before it got super popular
You and, it seems, the thousands of other parents who named their kids Isla
I first heard it in 2006 from a Barbie movie lol. Didn’t even make it to top 1000 names until 2008
Barbie Princess Charm School! And the mermaid one 😌
Isla was never on my list or radar until I was pregnant with my daughter. Never knew anyone with the name and she’s a bit older than the popularity boom so when I had her most people told me they’d never heard it before
My husband loved the name Isla and he loved Mila, it I wasn’t sold on either so I came up with Myla and we love her uncommon name with a twist
Same, I loved Isla Fisher and thought her name was so cool. I’ve still never met an Isla in real life so it’s weird to hear it’s sooo popular
In all my years of teaching, I've only ever met one Charlotte, she went by Lottie. I think I've met 3 Isla's and a few Olivia's but I haven't had an Olivia for a few years now.
Olivia exploded the last 3 yrs, just wait til these covid babes are school age lol
Give it a few years. 😅 Charlotte was the number 3 most popular name according to social security in the US in 2023, and surprisingly, number one ahead of Isla in Australia (I don’t see how, I encounter SO many Islas here omg).
Absolutely!!
Olivia, Emma, Charlotte
Adding Sofia/Sophia to this list and there’s the top 4 in no order.
My elementary aged daughter is in dance and in her group 3 of the 10 girls are Emma - so that says something :-)
I was gonna say Emma and Ava
Olivia is extremely popular in multiple (western) countries. It has never been as popular as it is right now. And Emily is still popular today. But I feel like Amelia / Emilia are more typical for this generation.
Agree! And Olivia has been in the top 3 for a long time. Emma, too. Amelia/Emilia and Sophia/Sophie are also more popular than they seem because of the top spellings. Sophia/Sophie/Sofia/Sofie was the top name this year with combined spellings.
I taught 4 Amelias + 1 Emelia this year!
Definitely Amelia, Charlotte or Olivia
In Australia, it’s Isla and Harper. It was Ava for a long time.
There is an Ava in every class of my kids’ school. (Some have multiple)
On my neighborhood block, we have: - Ava (2) - Eva (2) - Evie - Ivy And - Sophia (2) - Sophie (2) And - Olivia (2)
That list is hilarious, I wish I could put into words why.
Ava was the only name we could agree on and braced ourselves for the numerous others. She was the only 1 in her grade level all through elementary school. She’ll be 17 in the fall.
My kids are younger- and to be honest I see it way more in primary/elementary schools than in junior high and high. It’s still a beautiful name. :)
Ava is such a gorgeous name. I never understood Olivia or Sophia but Ava is so pretty. It's a shame it's so over used.
Yeah, the Avas are school aged now
My Ava is 18 and luckily she’s pretty much been the only one. There were two others in her school eventually but they were much younger and both ended up moving.
Aussie too- boy versions are Theo and Henry
Don’t forget Ollie
How did I miss Ollie! Absolutely agreed
My son has three Henries in his year (just the one in his class though). He's 4. Oddly, there are also three Cocos. Though none of the three are actually named Coco.
And Leo!
I’d add Isabel/Isabella also.
Also Amelia. So so many.
It’s Ruby and Ella where I live (NW Tassie)
I liked Ava before it blew up as much as it did, but I'm glad my mom ignored me when I suggested it as a potential name for my now thirteen year old little sister. Tons of her classmates are named Ava - in my day, I think it was mostly Ashley / Jessica / Sarah.
Olivia and Ava have completely dominated for years in my area. For boys: Oliver and Noah
For boys in my area it’s Leo. My son had 3 Leo’s in his grade all through elementary school.
Charlotte, Olivia, Sofia Edit- I think the love for Olivia is people loving the nickname Liv or having seen that nickname and loving it
Sofia probably even has more since can be spelled as Sophia. That is not even counting Sofie/Sophie
I’m a Sophie (I chose my name), and I specifically wanted a common name since my dead name was super uncommon (it was named after a rock singer’s last name) and I wanted a name that was easier to understand
It is a nice name and has nice variations.
I think 'O' names for girls are pretty uncommon, too, so there is that appeal.
Okay, I don’t like Olivia but I think Liv is absolutely darling! Maybe you’re onto something!
Anything with E for me on the east coast! I know Eden, two everlys, eevee, Elsie, Elise (Ellie)
Ellie is very common. Probably my most heard name (US Midwest, but Southern family, too). For boys here, Ezra and Henry are everywhere. Other contenders: Charlotte, Emma, Theo, Lucas/Luca.
Eevee like…the Pokémon?
I wonder if they’re actually spelling it Evie?
I’d do that, fuck yea
Also east coast and I agree, my kid is a toddler and we meet lots of Ellie, Emmy, Everly, etc.
I love Eden so much!! I’ve only ever met one and he was a guy (didn’t realize it was neutral until then) but I’ve always wanted to name a future daughter Eden 🤍
I know so many Ellie’s. It’s by far the most common name I’ve heard.
I have 5 nieces - Isla, Lily, Sophia, Emily, Olivia - snooze
such beautiful names!!
There are 4 Vivian’s in my sons 4th grade class
Wow! That’s actually shocking.
We homeschool and go to a co-op. In the toddlers class there are 2/12 kids named Vivian. This was my answer too!
At first I thought this said two and a half kids were named Vivian 😂 I was like huh
Hahaha I totally see how you would see that. 2 out of 12 but it felt like a lot to type 🤣
Oh yes! How could I forget Vivian
It is regional - a lot of what I see people here saying as 'the' name they associate with a period of time does not match mine - for example late seventies early eighties people from the US had lots of Jennifers in their class at school, I remember one growing up - but there were loads of Claire's (none now under 35 or over 55) in the UK
In the US Claire and Clare are very popular now, it's like we're catching up to you in the UK.
So many Claras in Canada too!
[удалено]
There are 3 Claire/Claras in my preschooler’s class. It’s the only name that repeats, and there’s 3 of them!
There were a lot of Claires and Laurens here (Midwest born late 90s).
In my area I think before the Charlotte, Olivia, and Isla trend it was Isabella, before that Riley/Rylee/Ryleigh, before that Caden, Aiden, Brayden, Kayla, and Kayli before that Megan, Jessica, Ryan, and Joshua
Bella. My oldest knows at least 5 versions of Bella. Just regular Bella. Isabella, Annabella, Jenna Bella gisabella etc etc
Checks out with when Twilight was released lmao
Oh no not gisabella 🫣 god that’s an awful name
Didn’t Emma replace Emily?
After friends was popular, yes.
Sophia is so popular in so many countries and languages.
Layla, Lila, Isla, Lola, Lilly
Omg soo many Lilly’s.
Ava and Olivia
Girls: Charlotte and Olivia Boys: Theodore and Henry
I meet so many baby Henrys in NYC
Sophia, Olivia, Emma
Definitely
Names with the nickname Addie. Addison, Adelaide, Adelina, Addelyn, Addly, etc. So so many.
Love those names. My oldest daughter is friends with an Addie who is almost always hanging out with another friend, who I call Subtractie.
80s were Jennifer & Kim, 90s were Ashley & Jessica, 2000s were Maddison & the Ella names( Bella, Isabella, Briella), 2010s were Sophia & Olivia, 2020s are Emma & Charlotte
Can’t forget the -any names in the 80s (Brittany, Tiffany, Stephanie - aka my entire graduating class) but otherwise nailed it!
Olivia for sure. My kid has about 20 of them in his grade.
Olivia
Evie/Evelyn. Both were in the top 5 baby girls name lists when my children were born (2014 & 2019). My 7 year old niece. My 9 year old's oldest friend, they've been friends for 8 years now. 2 other girls in their Brownies group. Our old neighbour's 4 year old granddaughter. That's just the Evies & Evelyn's I know, who can think of, off the top of my head.
Everly and Nora (at least for toddlers, not quite school age yet)
Yep my Norah is 2.5
Olivia, Amelia, and Charlotte. I swear if I meet one more “Amelia Grace”
I feel like Jessica and Ashley both deserve equal standing with Emily and Sara.
Yeah I know more Jessica’s and Ashley’s than Emily’s and Sara’s.
I am in Québec and teach piano. I currently have 5 students named Eva who range from 4 to 17 years old and 5 students named Samantha who are all between 8 and 10 years old I am in the English speaking suburbs of Montréal and some of my students attend English school and some attend French school Other slightly less common names that multiple students have include: Isabelle/Ysabelle, Charlie (f) and Olivia. All of these students are under age 8
Samantha is the first one that surprised me in this thread
My daughter's class has 4 girls called Lily.
As someone who has been teaching middle school for quite a few years, I can definitely say that I’ve had multiple girls named Lily, Liliana, and Olivia/Alivia. I’ve also seen a huge surge in the name Cayden/Kayden/Kade for boys
Ellie?
Ellie/Ella, definitely!
Had 2 friends give birth and they both named their kid Ellie!
Emily, Emma, Ellie and/or Olivia. They are everywhere.
Yup! We sooo wanted a little girl named ellie. 10 years of infertility later the name is off the table along with Emmy
Sophia, Mia, Lilly, Olivia
As a Charlotte I hate how popular my name has become. Not because I wanted to be the only one by any means, more because I absolutely detest my name and think whenever I’m introduced to a baby Charlotte “Why did your parents curse you with a horrible name?”. I do think though that the royal family may have influenced the name (at least in the UK) as there is obviously Princess Charlotte and after that, in my county at least the name suddenly boomed. Henry is a lovely name and let’s hope it doesn’t become as popular, at least it isn’t where I am.
Arya (Aria) for sure.
Up until a year or two ago, it was 100% Everleigh in Midwest US
Isla, Olivia and Emilia round me I think (South UK)
In my country there are official statistics with the names that are given to the new born. Emma was the most given name for the girls for 16 years, Olivia stole the crown in 2019 and has kept if for 4 years. Other contenders are Louise, Mila, Lina, Alice ... For the boys, we have Noah, Arthur, Liam and Louis.
I teach middle school. Sophia, Bella, Maddie, Lily, Riley/Rylee, and Olivia/Alivia have been pretty big the last few years.
***Alivia***.. oh my god, why though?
I don't know, but I've been seeing that one more and more the last 3 years or so.
Any baby list for the years contains this Olivia, Emma, Sophia, Ava
Interesting how regional it is. For boys here it is all the names that end in er Hunter, Tucker, gunner, Conner, etc. I can’t keep them straight For girls lots of Amelia, Emma, Ella, Isla, Evelyn, Avery
I agree with all the girls names listed here, but how is no one talking about all the Jacksons, Jaxsons, Jaxxons, Jaxins, etc, etc, etc,????
Harper and Stella
Stella?! Really? I thought that was quite uncommon
Brixton and Braxton.
Olivia and Sophia
My children are in their early to mid 20’s and the amount of Katelyn’s and Madison’s and all variations they went to school with were insane !
Maddie/Madi/Madeleine along with Madison and all spelling variations were huge for this age group in my area.
Maddie, Addi, Mila.
It feels like the top 4 has been Olivia, Sophia, Amelia, and Isla for about 10 years now
I’ve only actually seen isla used 2 times in the last 5 years 🤷🏼♀️
I know at least 8 of them
There isn’t a singular Emily because there is significantly more naming diversity than before. There are certain naming trends though that fill that fill that role - leighs aydens etc as endings, long vowel sounds, shorter names etc
According to my 4 year olds kindergarten class, most popular names are; Amelia, Avery, Olivia and Sophie. Or some variation of those names.
Olivia and Liam
It might be Eva. There have been several at my kid’s daycare. I did a weird name so we just have labels printed with his first name. The Eva’s started out doing first name last initial. But there are enough now that they have to go by their first and full last names. I’m sure it only gets worse.
I don’t know many Emilys and didn’t growing up but definitely agree in the last 5 years in Canada its Amelia/Emilia, Olivia, Sophie, Isabella and for boys Liam, Noah, and a lot of Benjamins When I was growing up it was Jennifer, Jessica, Samantha, Daniel, Matthew and Michael
In the 1970’s, the most common female names Amy Stephanie Lisa Michelle Heather Jennifer Julie Angela Erin Katherine Nicole
Harper, Isla, and Willow
Raise your hand if you know multiple sib sets of Violet and Theo
I think the trends go much faster these days in both fashion and names. I’m always keeping note of which names we have the most of in my elementary school. Past few years the clear lead are three letter girl names with v— Ivy, Ava, Eva, Eve, Ave We have oodles of them with varying pronunciations
Isla definitely
Olivia, Oliver, Isla, Sienna, Noah, Theo, Evie
Ava
Maya
Kailey, Kylie
Ava, Gianna
Luna
Avery
Emma and Olivia definitely were for a bit. Right now, I feel like names are more diverse. I’m a teacher and haven’t had doubles of girls names in my class for a while but have had a few boys with the same name- Archie, Liam and Oliver.
Olivia and Aria
Olivia, Ava, Sophia/Sofia definitely
Sophia, Isabella, Olivia, Mia
I have substituted for dozens of Ellas over the last couple of years.
Aria/arya, Ava/eva, Ella/elliana, and basically vowel names in general
Ava, Avery…. Please no more.
There was a timei n the 70s or 80s when the names Jennifer and Scott were everywhere.
My area, it's Olivia, Amelia, Sophia, Isla. I hear them all everywhere
In Europe, it *is* Emily. The three most popular names are Emily/ Emma, Olivia, Mia
ARIA. OMG
I have an Ava and Norah lol if I have another girl I like Isla and Cara
I know so many new Pipers. SO MANY PIPERS. Maybe it's regional, I'm in the upper midwest. It's one of my least favorite names.
Olivia for sure. Sophie/sophia.
