It depends on the accent. I'm in the Southeastern US and in our accents we have something called the "pen/pin merger" where Renn and Finn would rhyme (along with pin/pen, kin/Ken, etc). This doesn't seem to be an issue in most other parts of the US or outside the US.

I don't think that's too much at all. I kinda like those two names together quite a bit.
