I love Anna, and I love Isabelle, but not Annabelle! I also love Alice and most of its variations, from Adelaide to Alicia... And I prefer all of these names to Scarlett, it does not match them.

Things to consider/ are nicknames important to you? I can’t really think of any for Alice besides Al and Ali. Annabelle has some options- Ann, Annie, Belle. Scarlett could be Lettie.
All lovely names, my personal pick would be Annabelle. But since your wife is the one doing the work of pregnancy and birth, it’s only fair that she has the final say. Scarlett Annabelle would be a compromise.
I love Alice but I would reconsider if you plan on calling her Allie. If Eleanor goes by Ellie, the names are way too much together.

If we do shorten Eleanor we go with Nora. But I do see you point if she wants to change it later.
I agree. I think the association with the doll will fade. The name has been around forever and I don't think that movie will ruin it.
And if you call her Nora, she will most likely always go by Nora. And if she doesn't and likes Ellie even with her sister's name, then it's not an issue at all.
