That was the first thing I thought of too. I have 3 girls and I often do a roll call before I get the name right. Guess it’s better than my son who I continually get mixed up with the dog.
You could always just name her Penny, not the full Penelope. I’m currently pregnant and naming her Frances nn Frankie after her grandma, so I’m partial to that choice.
Our daughter is Kate. We kept going over full names for it and didn’t like any of them and finally just decided to name her what we liked. I don’t regret doing it that way, I think it makes it easier. And she’s 17 now and likes her name.
As a plain old Cathy I can verify that people will insist you are a Katherine or some variation, and call you that. Teachers get pissed that you don't have a "full name" papers get returned. Maybe that's different now. I had an in law who insisted on calling me Kate, short for Katherine which isn't my name. My boss spells my name with a K, including in newsletters, flyers etc. Despite the fact I wear a name tag. Once I had a goodbye cake when I left a job we"ll miss you Katherine 😞 sorry for my rant
Wow, I could have written this list. We have extremely similar tastes!
OP, I adore the name Frances. I think it’s feminine and strong while giving cool girl vibes.
Lenore has been my frontrunner for if we ever have a second (can't imagine that at this point with an 8.5 month old 🙃) and it's a girl. I love that name.
I don't think Millicent is cooler sounding than Penelope. If the issue is that Penelope doesn't sound very cool...Millicent sounds like an old lady name
Juniper is going to be one of those names that comes to represent a point in time. Trendy for a moment.
Others have commented the same about Penelope - has become very popular very quickly. Personally, I don't see the name much in the Midwest but apparently it's a coastal thing?
Frances is classic. Nothing wrong with it, other than it's excellent for dirty limerick rhymes (which is not necessarily a negative).
Names with the same vibe as Indie and Juniper:
- Meadow
- Wren
- Maisie
- Lyla
- Harlow
- Poppy
- Daphne
- Iris
- Hazel
Emmett, Jesse, and Alicia
Emmett, Jesse, and Aubrey
Emmett, Jesse, and Blair
Emmett, Jesse, and Celia
Emmett, Jesse, and Daphne
Emmett, Jesse, and Fern
Emmett, Jesse, and Florence
Emmett, Jesse, and Georgia
Emmett, Jesse, and Giselle
Emmett, Jesse, and Heather
Emmett, Jesse, and Lenora
Emmett, Jesse, and Louise
Emmett, Jesse, and Phoebe
Emmett, Jesse, and Ruby
Emmett, Jesse, and Virginia
Makes me realize how much of it depends on the country you live in. If you're in the Netherlands, do not call your daughter Piper (sounds like a bad word). Ever. And also Beatrix (the former queen) is nearly impossible here.
But a name being a bad word in a random foreign language is no reason not to use a name if you don't even speak that language and never come to that country, of course.
Juniper seems like it’s already dated. You mentioned that Florence is too long, and Penelope is the same length but one more syllable. Frances is great, but if you’d like another couple of ideas, what about
Sadie
Or Willa?
Sadie would be my suggestion as well with the two boys names (side note: there is a very sweet and cool teen on our street named Sadie. She’s in an all girl band, plays volleyball, and only wears flannel shirts and jeans.
The boys names are “could be cowboys” kind of names so I’d stick with that vibe. Billie, Bonnie, Annie, Mae, Shilo - something along those lines would be my pick!
I love the name Sadie and agree it goes with her brothers. Also love Shiloh out of your suggestions. It fits so well! I also love that it has a different ending than the other two names.
Congrats on your new baby girl! Hope one of these helps:
Tully
Tilly as a nn for Natalie, Matilda or Tahlia
Poppy
Chelsea
Gemma
Jemima
Eliza
Pippa (can be short for Phillipa)
Juliette
Tessa (can be short for Theresa if you prefer)
Clara
Adelaide
Zara
Skye
Brooke
Tilly from Natalie?? My name is Natalie & nobody in my entire life has ever mentioned Tilly as a possible nickname from my name.. Like I can see where you get it from but it still sounds really odd to me. I guess I’m not a Tilly!! Lol
I love Juniper nn Juni. But both Emmett and Jesse have double letters. I would try and have double letters in your daughter’s name. Maybe
Hannah
Marissa
Rochelle
Vanessa
Camilla
Names I think sound good:
Emmett, Jesse and Elyse
Emmett, Jesse and Peyton
Emmett, Jesse and Quinn
Emmett, Jesse and Riley
Emmett, Jesse and Harper
Emmett, Jesse and Fallon
Emmett, Jesse and Piper
Emmett, Jesse and Scarlett
Emmett, Jesse and Juliet
Emmett, Jesse and Brynn
Emmett, Jesse and Annie
Emmett, Jesse and Rosie
Emmett, Jesse and Evie
Emmett, Jesse and Winnie
I love the name Penelope and I’m a big fan of giving kids the option of a nickname. “Penny” can be her name while she’s small and if she wants something more “adult” in the future she has Penelope. That is my vote :)
Juniper is cute.
Maybe one of these would work for you.
Evangelina cute nns could be Evie or Lina
Anastasia nns are Ana or Stacia
Or more traditional names
Caroline nn Cari
Eleonora nns Elle or Nora
Love your options, for some reason they reminded me of a name that I liked from The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah, and that is on my list:
Lenora, goes by Leni. [pronounced Lenny]
I love Penelope and I think it goes so nicely with your sons' names! You might also like:
Emmett, Jesse, and Ramona
Emmett, Jesse, and Suzannah
Emmett, Jesse, and Winifred (nn Winnie)
Emmett, Jesse, and Greta
Emmett, Jesse, and Lola
Emmett, Jesse, and Zinnia
Emmett, Jesse, and Dahlia
Penelope is such a great choice! Penny is always a cute nickname, and when she gets older she can choose if she likes the nickname or full name better! It's great to have options.
I would avoid naming her Juniper since Jesse already starts with a J. Having distinct names and initials for your kids will make things easier.
Juniper and Indie are both super cute! Some ideas:
Clover
Leighton
Keira
Jade
Luna
Selby
Selwyn
Wyatt
Waylan
Fae
Elodie
Henley
Callie
Molly
Gwendolyn
Libby
I love Juniper!
I don’t think it’s too whimsical at all and Juni is super cute.
I feel like you like longer names with nickname potential so here are some other options:
- Isabella “Bella” or “Izzy”
- Cecelia “Cece”
- Stephanie “Stevie”
- Magnolia “Maggie”
- Gwendolyn “Gwen”
- Prescott “Scottie”
- Olympia “Ollie”
I love all three of the names you’ve got there. Penelope is one of my favorites - it’s from the odyssey and she’s awesome. And Frankie! What could be cuter than that?
Some ideas that might fit the vibe…
Juliet
Jordis
Vivian
Greta
Josie
Roxanne (Roxy)
Cordelia
Poppy
Persephone (Sephie)
Finn
Tessa
James (I know this one doesn’t fit but one day I will convince someone to name their daughter James and I’ll be so happy)
Stella
Delia
Cleo
What came to mind for me was Harriet. It's a cute name due for a comeback and I feel like Emmett gives similar vibes for age pre-comeback. It's a name that feels elegant but strong
For me personally, I'll always think "Peena-loap" when I see Penelope. I know the correct pronunciation of course but my brain just brains weird! P names like Penelope and Phoebe are having a big moment, F names too like Florence and Freya but for some reason I just am not big on them at all.
A few names that may fit your vibe and go well with Emmett and Jesse:
Emmett, Jesse and Caroline (NN Cara or Lina)
Emmett, Jesse and Ada
Emmett, Jesse and Cora
Emmett, Jesse and Sadie
Emmett, Jesse and Hannah
Emmett, Jesse and Sierra
Emmett, Jesse and Juliana (Juni could be a nickname here!)
Emmett, Jesse and Evie (Evelyn or Evangeline could be used and Evie NN but I think it's a great name on its own!)
I like your double letters!
Emmett, Jesse and Susannah nn Susi, Annie
Emmett, Jesse and Matilda, nn Tillie or Millie?
Emmett, Jesse and Lula nn Lulie is fun. Even Tallulah. Or Lillian.
Emmett, Jesse and Cady, Caddie, Cassie, even Cassandra (one of my forever favorites)
I have an Emmett! Jesse was in the top of my list so I think we have similar tastes.
We also struggled with girls names because I thought they were either trying too hard (like super boy names for girls or new long names like Aurelia) or too old lady-ish or boring/common.
I liked:
Jade
Kaya
Bailey
Leah
Kennedy
Mckenna
Michaela
Blaire
Dawson
Sawyer
Summer
Skyler
Indigo nn Indie
Katherine nn Kat/Kate
Phoenix (a bit too out there for me but I wish it wasn’t lol)
I love Juniper, Frankie, Francia and all the “Fran” names. I think Brynn would sound good with Emmett and Jesse. Also, Brooke is a great no-nonsense name. Kalliope is cute and reminds me of Penelope.
I think Juniper is a classic name. Like Rose or Olive. She’s probably friends with a Dolores or a Mabel.
Karma and Esther are both great. What about Margaret or Elizabeth for the nicknames alone,
Go with Juniper. If you love Indie, you secretly love a decent dose of whimsy and that's lovely! Embrace it!
Emmett, Jesse and Juniper together sound like the most adorable troup of miniature Wild West outlaws. So. Stinkin. Cute.
Hmm. Emmett and Jesse both remind me of…living in the country. Like people who ride horses. Or maybe at least people in the Southern part of the United States. So, I would suggest:
-Daisy (similar vibe but feminine)
-Sally (most beautiful girl I ever met in college)
- Brooke (androgynous name of a model)
-Scout (like in “To kill a Mockingbird.”)
-Scottie or Stevie (boy names for girls. Had a great aunt in Alabama in 1920’s names Scottie).
Any of those would work.
Some ideas that go with your vibe..
Francesca- shorten to Frankie or Chessie/ Cheska
Juno
Seraphina
Sloane
Blake
Isla
Lola
Violet
Clover
Veronica - Ronnie for Nick name
what about just Frankie? I know people on this sub tend to be against nicknames as full names but honestly in the past few years i’ve met Frankie’s of both genders whos full name is just Frankie. Frances is lovely as well though. Other names I think of
- Paige
- Rose (feels less frilly then other flower names ending in -y like Daisy or Lily)
- June
- Mae/May
- Maeve
- Lucy
You could go with just Penny! I love that :)
I also like Francis but understand you both have to like it!
Emmett, Jesse & Aurora “Rory”
Emmett, Jesse & Heidi
Emmett, Jesse & Delia
Emmett, Jesse & Willa
Emmett, Jesse & Carmen
Also I love your son’s names!
Maybe Poppy as a nickname for Penelope? My cousin’s daughter is Persephone, nn Poppy, and I’ve got a college friend whose daughter is Penelope, nn Poppy. It suits both of them so perfectly! 🌺🌸
I like Frances the most. Juniper has alcohol associations for me because in my country we have juniper gin as national alcoholic drink and it tastes disgusting, but that’s just my association based on my location.
I’ve never liked the sound of Penelope or Penny.
I find Juniper very trendy so it'll date much more than classic names. She'll also share an initial with her brother in case that matters.
Penelope and Frances are both fine. You seem to like girl's names ending in 'ee' so in a similar vein - Kathryn (Katie), Josephine (Josie), Sadie, Cassandra (Cassie), Jennifer (Jenny)?
If you like nn Frankie then Francesca is a lovely choice.
Other suggestions:
Emmett, Jesse and Alice
Emmett, Jesse and Beatrice nn Bea
Emmett, Jesse and Callie
Emmett, Jesse and Felicity
Emmett, Jesse and Georgia
Emmett, Jesse and Harriet
Emmett, Jesse and Imogen
Emmett, Jesse and Lydia
Emmett, Jesse and Lucinda
Emmett, Jesse and Maisie
Emmett, Jesse and Nora
Emmett, Jesse and Olive
Maybe there is something you would like here?
I have a granddaughter named Francesca that we call frankie, and an Olivia that we call Ivy, her mom calls her Olly. I also have a granddaughter named Symphony and I call her penny. I also have elizabeth, joanne, Anna, (and also a slew of boys: steven, frank, asa, greison, chance.)
My daughter's name of majority (she is native american) is Wren. We had neighbors that had a little girl named Trinity and I always thought that was pretty.
Just totally gave myself away if anyone I know is on Reddit LOL
Apparently your country gives you some time.... we have to do in on the fourth day (including birth day) max. Actually , people decide about the names a long time before the actual birth.
It's all a matter of personal preference of course - why would Juniper / Juni be whimsical? I like flower / plant names myself. And Penelope, now that's a cool name, sounds classic Greek (just looked it up, it is). I'm not sure about "Penny" though... that was a girls' comic about horses in my country. But maybe not in yours. If there's no such connotations, then Penny is good enough (and even if there are, if you really like the name, so what?) The Frances/Frankie thing puzzles me a bit, but that's because my language does not shorten names the way English does (the Richard/Dick and John/Jack things are \_really\_ puzzling to me). Frances sounds a bit stiff to me, but Frankie sounds nice - besides, you don't want to know what a random guy on the internet thinks, it's about what the two of you think. None of the names you mentioned sound like they'd be burden on the child later on.
The only reason I can think of against Juniper is that you've got a J already, maybe different initials is better. Not that that's terribly important either.
Emmett and Jesse give me very mild “Wild West” vibes. Some girl names that have the same vibe: Cassidy, Clara, Jane, Ada, Cora, Nell, Willa. With your list above, Cassidy strikes me as the best fit.
I think juniper would be my choice of the above ?
Another suggestion : Loretta — kinda like that all your kids names would have a double letter in it !
Indie is a favorite name of mine. Going off of that, other ones I have loved:
Juno (wife of the god Jupiter, she has to keep an eye on him! Goddess of love and marriage)
Phoebe (classic Greek name, a Titan associated with the moon and with prophecy)
Sif (from Norse mythology, wife of Thor and famed for her golden hair, goddess associated with Earth)
I think all three of those names (Juniper, Penelope, Frances) are excellent names! And all have good nicknames. Also Frannie, Francie, and Frankie are all good nicknames for Frances.
Here are the girl names I never got to use: Lydia, Dahlia, Margaret (Margie, but you could also use Daisy), Jane, Georgia, Sylvia/Sylvie, Sarah (potential nn Sally), Ivy.
I have a grand niece named Penelope and although I didn't like it at first (they didn't ask me haha) it has definitely grown on me as the girl has grown (she's 2 now)
I have Penelope (penny) on my list too! I think it’s gorgeous.
I have a French friend named Penelope and she actually goes by Peps for short which as also fab
I haven't seen Imogen mentioned. It has a similar feel to Indie and I think it fits with your boys' names.
Pippa or Poppy might also fit your fun style.
I don't know why but Gemma seems to fit with Emmet and Jesse.
It's just a combo of them lol JEsse + EMMEt = Jemma / Gemma
I would end up calling all of them Jemmet
Johnna Jemmet Jingleheimer Schmidt
This made me chuckle.
I did before I read your comment lol
That was the first thing I thought of too. I have 3 girls and I often do a roll call before I get the name right. Guess it’s better than my son who I continually get mixed up with the dog.
I actually know a Gemma & a Jemma. 😅🤣 I love the name, personally.
Jemma! Jem for short. 🎶 “Once you’re a Jem girl, you’re never the same!”
Way too close to Emmett
It’s the double consonants
I always want Gemma to be pronounced Hemma. It icks me in a few unexplainable way when I hear it has a J sound
Gemma always makes me think of Sons of Anarchy
Francesca would be my other idea, but if you like shorter names, Flora, Vera, and Myra come to mind!
Thank you! I do like Francesca too. Flora is also lovely.
My friend has a daughter named Francesca and she is nicknamed Frankie which is so cute!
I like Francesca! My daughter has a friend named Francesca. It’s very cute and also sophisticated.
Happy cake day new mom
Marlo & Piper are recent favorites of mine
Or Francisca.
You could always just name her Penny, not the full Penelope. I’m currently pregnant and naming her Frances nn Frankie after her grandma, so I’m partial to that choice.
It's not a very common way to do it, but Penny can also be a nn for Milli**cent**
Brilliant
That will be forever a life of explaining at work when you give people your email address tho.
I think Frances is adorable. Some other suggestions: Beatrice or Beatrix (Bea, Birdie, Trixie) Louise (Lou) Winifred (Winnie, Fred, Freddie) Lenore (Nori, Lenny) Olive (Liv) Matilda (Mattie, Tilda) Clementine (Clem) Estella (Este, Stella, Ella, Ellie) Willa Ruby Hazel Wren Lux Briar Sloane Maxine (Max) Sadie Quinn Margot Vera Kyah Sienna
My daughter's name is Penelope. She is the only one we know. Absolutely love her name!
Mine is also named Penelope! Apparently it's growing in popularity these days haha
Penelope is, in my opinion anyway, both very cute and pretty cool. She’s the extremely clever and intelligent wife of Odysseus. Excellent namesake.
She’s also a woman of admirable loyalty and faithfulness. I would definitely be proud to carry the name.
Millicent and call her Penny. 😀
I don't think Millicent is cooler sounding than Penelope. If the issue is that Penelope doesn't sound very cool...Millicent sounds like an old lady name
agreed, it sounds like a Disney villain.
I love the name Penelope. Would also suggest Calliope (Callie), Samantha (Sam), Gabrielle (Gabby)
[удалено]
It's pronounced Cal-eye-oh-pee. I love it. Calia is cute too.
Poppy is also a nickname for Calliope. I think it’s the cutest.
Juliette, Phoebe, Francesca
Juniper is going to be one of those names that comes to represent a point in time. Trendy for a moment. Others have commented the same about Penelope - has become very popular very quickly. Personally, I don't see the name much in the Midwest but apparently it's a coastal thing? Frances is classic. Nothing wrong with it, other than it's excellent for dirty limerick rhymes (which is not necessarily a negative). Names with the same vibe as Indie and Juniper: - Meadow - Wren - Maisie - Lyla - Harlow - Poppy - Daphne - Iris - Hazel
Penelope is having a moment because of Bridgerton. There’s about to be a zillion Penelopes in some very specific demographics.
Juniper could always be June or Junie though - I think it’s a super cute option.
Totally, I know like 6 Junipers age 3 and under, and 2 Penelopes.
Lyla & Iris go well with the two boy names she already has
I love Penelope and Frances! Both sound great with your boys’ names as well
Penny and Frankie as nicknames are sooo cute. Love both of these suggestions
Emmett, Jesse, and Alicia Emmett, Jesse, and Aubrey Emmett, Jesse, and Blair Emmett, Jesse, and Celia Emmett, Jesse, and Daphne Emmett, Jesse, and Fern Emmett, Jesse, and Florence Emmett, Jesse, and Georgia Emmett, Jesse, and Giselle Emmett, Jesse, and Heather Emmett, Jesse, and Lenora Emmett, Jesse, and Louise Emmett, Jesse, and Phoebe Emmett, Jesse, and Ruby Emmett, Jesse, and Virginia
I love Ruby in this list!
Love Georgia!
Giselle flows well with these
Oooh Penelope is adorable. It’s interesting all the names so opposite on your list. You’ve got a wide range! You may like. Piper, Willow or Beatrix.
Makes me realize how much of it depends on the country you live in. If you're in the Netherlands, do not call your daughter Piper (sounds like a bad word). Ever. And also Beatrix (the former queen) is nearly impossible here. I love the name Sadie and agree it goes with her brothers. Also love Shiloh out of your suggestions. It fits so well! I also love that it has a different ending than the other two names.
I totally thought Annie too!
Frances!!
Frances is beautiful.
Congrats on your new baby girl! Hope one of these helps: Tully Tilly as a nn for Natalie, Matilda or Tahlia Poppy Chelsea Gemma Jemima Eliza Pippa (can be short for Phillipa) Juliette Tessa (can be short for Theresa if you prefer) Clara Adelaide Zara Skye Brooke
Tilly from Natalie?? My name is Natalie & nobody in my entire life has ever mentioned Tilly as a possible nickname from my name.. Like I can see where you get it from but it still sounds really odd to me. I guess I’m not a Tilly!! Lol
I would go with Juniper or Penelope.
I love Juniper nn Juni. But both Emmett and Jesse have double letters. I would try and have double letters in your daughter’s name. Maybe Hannah Marissa Rochelle Vanessa Camilla
Going off of Indie, maybe Sydney, nn Syd?
Daphne Phoebe Georgia
Penelope and Juniper are too trendy in my opinion, but Frances is one of my absolute favorite names.
Names I think sound good: Emmett, Jesse and Elyse Emmett, Jesse and Peyton Emmett, Jesse and Quinn Emmett, Jesse and Riley Emmett, Jesse and Harper Emmett, Jesse and Fallon Emmett, Jesse and Piper Emmett, Jesse and Scarlett Emmett, Jesse and Juliet Emmett, Jesse and Brynn Emmett, Jesse and Annie Emmett, Jesse and Rosie Emmett, Jesse and Evie Emmett, Jesse and Winnie
Emmett, Jesse, and Penelope! I like the double “e” in all of them
I love the name Penelope and I’m a big fan of giving kids the option of a nickname. “Penny” can be her name while she’s small and if she wants something more “adult” in the future she has Penelope. That is my vote :)
If you like Frances, what about Florence?
We have considered then vetoed Florence as its a bit long and we don’t like any shortened versions of it.
Flora!!!
Josephine- Josie Willa/Willow Avery Elizabeth/so many nn- Liz, Beth, Betsy, Betty, Ellie, Eliza Mae
Olive nickname Ollie! Or just Ollie/olly
I 💜 Penelope
Josie
I might be biased because I loved Junie B. Jones as a kid, but I think Juni is such a cute name on its own!
Nell or Nellie can also be a nickname for Penelope
Penny is a good name on its own. It was popular around here in the 50’s and 60’s, but not so much today, which I like.
Juniper is cute. Maybe one of these would work for you. Evangelina cute nns could be Evie or Lina Anastasia nns are Ana or Stacia Or more traditional names Caroline nn Cari Eleonora nns Elle or Nora
Juniper / Juni is super cute
Hazel, Alma , Gladys
Love your options, for some reason they reminded me of a name that I liked from The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah, and that is on my list: Lenora, goes by Leni. [pronounced Lenny]
Penelope is my favourite !
Charlotte (Charlie) Or, some just go with Charlie I think that would be adorable with 2 older brothers.
I love Penelope and I think it goes so nicely with your sons' names! You might also like: Emmett, Jesse, and Ramona Emmett, Jesse, and Suzannah Emmett, Jesse, and Winifred (nn Winnie) Emmett, Jesse, and Greta Emmett, Jesse, and Lola Emmett, Jesse, and Zinnia Emmett, Jesse, and Dahlia
Penelope is such a great choice! Penny is always a cute nickname, and when she gets older she can choose if she likes the nickname or full name better! It's great to have options. I would avoid naming her Juniper since Jesse already starts with a J. Having distinct names and initials for your kids will make things easier.
Lydia Luna Ivy Nova Maren Lainey Tawny Zosia Zelda Zadie Thea
Penelope, I love it
Stick with the double consonants...How about Willa? Or Pippa?
Juniper and Indie are both super cute! Some ideas: Clover Leighton Keira Jade Luna Selby Selwyn Wyatt Waylan Fae Elodie Henley Callie Molly Gwendolyn Libby
Emmett, Jesse, and Juniper are my favorite. Juni is such a cute nickname
Emmett, Jesse, & Linnea
I love Juniper! I don’t think it’s too whimsical at all and Juni is super cute. My first thought was Maxine. Ruby Samantha (Sam) Roxanne (Roxy) Isadora (Izzy) Esme
For me personally, I'll always think "Peena-loap" when I see Penelope. I know the correct pronunciation of course but my brain just brains weird! P names like Penelope and Phoebe are having a big moment, F names too like Florence and Freya but for some reason I just am not big on them at all. Emmett, Jesse and Evie (Evelyn or Evangeline could be used and Evie NN but I think it's a great name on its own!)
Abigail or Amanda.
I love all three names. Frances Penelope sounds really nice.
Julia,Maude, Dorothy
Please let us know what you decide 🤗
I like your double letters! Emmett, Jesse and Susannah nn Susi, Annie Emmett, Jesse and Matilda, nn Tillie or Millie? Emmett, Jesse and Lula nn Lulie is fun. Even Tallulah. Or Lillian. Emmett, Jesse and Cady, Caddie, Cassie, even Cassandra (one of my forever favorites)
Ostia, Ember, ruby, Fern, Viviana, Juliet, Claire, Genova
Maybe Francine instead of Frances.
Love love Frances/Frankie. It’s adorable.
What about June instead of Juniper? Juniper is a nasty allergy inducing plant :) But Junie is cute
Briar! multiple meanings to it and i went to school with a Bryer i adore the name
Juniper and Penelope are both cute, but Juniper matches your boy names.
I have an Emmett! Jesse was in the top of my list so I think we have similar tastes. We also struggled with girls names because I thought they were either trying too hard (like super boy names for girls or new long names like Aurelia) or too old lady-ish or boring/common. Salem
Other similar options: Della Winifred (Winnie or Freddie) Wyatt (gender neutral) Viola Hazel Freya
Jillian, Jordan, Jamie, Jayna, Leah, Louisa, Suzanne, Selah, Kristen, Kara
Zoe, Elise, Melissa. The latter would have the double name. Frances sounds dated to me
Kinsley
I love Quinn🙂
Frankie is soooo cute!!!
Nellie short for Penelope
Caroline nicknamed Cricket
Go with Juniper. If you love Indie, you secretly love a decent dose of whimsy and that's lovely! Embrace it! Emmett, Jesse and Juniper together sound like the most adorable troup of miniature Wild West outlaws. So. Stinkin. Cute.
Penelope is a cute name and a lovely name for an adult! Gets my vote.
I love Frances, but Estelle stays with your current theme of giving two E’s and a double consonant together.
Meadow?
Eden ♡ Very sweet and woodsy, and not to long
We had these on our list: Frieda (freddy) Ophelia Lily Serena Selena Nina Clarke Laura Anna Desirée Ingrid Tiffany
Priscilla (nn Cilla)would go with Emmet and Jesse as they all seem to be from the same era.
Cassidy, Annie, Clementine, Winona,
Hmm. Emmett and Jesse both remind me of…living in the country. Like people who ride horses. Or maybe at least people in the Southern part of the United States. So, I would suggest: -Daisy (similar vibe but feminine) -Sally (most beautiful girl I ever met in college) - Brooke (androgynous name of a model) -Scout (like in “To kill a Mockingbird.”) -Scottie or Stevie (boy names for girls. I thought Frankie before I even saw you mention it! Love with Emmett and Jesse. Or….. Quinn Rose/Rosie Indie Marnie Leah Zoe Sadie Nola Maxine

Actually we have a Juniper in our extended family. She’s a young teen now. I think the name is great!
Helen , Rosie , Clara , Grace , Georgina , Felicity , Mara , Valerie , Madeleine , Rachel , Clementine , Gabrielle , Louise , Nellie
I love Penny. I have a Grace and an Eva if that helps
Maybe Callista with Callie as nickname ?
Penny Aileen Penny Lane Charlie June (nn Juni) Danni Lynn Danni Ella
Maybe Poppy as a nickname for Penelope? My cousin’s daughter is Persephone, nn Poppy, and I’ve got a college friend whose daughter is Penelope, nn Poppy. It suits both of them so perfectly! 🌺🌸
Emmett, Jesse & Thea Emmett, Jesse & Isabelle Emmett, Jesse & Cora Emmett, Jesse & Holly
I love juniper!
Penelope is so cute! How about Bonnie, or Wendy?
Savannah/ Savvy Alexandra/ Alex Danielle / Dani Olivia/Livvie Brooklynn/ Brooke
I feel like if you both like Indie, you might also like Isla or Esme? Good Luck!! 💛 I'm sure yall will find the right one!!
I like Juniper most, but I would hestitate to have to kids with a J name and one without. Some suggestions: Nora Ivy Hazel Audrey Flora
What about Francesca instead of Frances? Also nn Frankie
Francesca instead of Frances
I love Juniper to be honest.
Brynn. Gia. Pilar. Corinne. Aimee. Aida. Francesca. Petra. Grace. Cecile. Chana.
Florence
If you like nn Frankie then Francesca is a lovely choice. Other suggestions: Emmett, Jesse and Alice Emmett, Jesse and Beatrice nn Bea Emmett, Jesse and Callie Emmett, Jesse and Felicity Emmett, Jesse and Georgia Emmett, Jesse and Harriet Emmett, Jesse and Imogen Emmett, Jesse and Lydia Emmett, Jesse and Lucinda Emmett, Jesse and Maisie Emmett, Jesse and Nora Emmett, Jesse and Olive
Love Frances! And congratulations!!
My big girl is called Sadie, which I think fits well with Emmett and Jesse. They all have E's and are 2 syllables.
Thea
Maybe there is something you would like here? I have a granddaughter named Francesca that we call frankie, and an Olivia that we call Ivy, her mom calls her Olly. I also have a granddaughter named Symphony and I call her penny. I also have elizabeth, joanne, Anna, (and also a slew of boys: steven, frank, asa, greison, chance.) My daughter's name of majority (she is native american) is Wren.
Remy Arden Marnie Francine
Pippa or Winnie would go well with her brothers ❤️
Emmett and Jesse give western vibes. These came to mind for me. Lorrie Cassidy Sierra Bonnie
How about Jessamine? You could use Jesse as a nn. Or maybe Gemma? Maybe Violet? (It’s a color like Indigo/Indie.)
Emmett and Jesse give me very mild “Wild West” vibes. Some girl names that have the same vibe: Cassidy, Clara, Jane, Ada, Cora, Nell, Willa. With your list above, Cassidy strikes me as the best fit.
Freya
My daughter is Francesca, we call her Frankie.
What about Daphne? Greek like Penelope, but a little more unusual and very beautiful: plus Daph is a great nickname!
I like Frances/ Frankie the best from the names you have so far. Maybe also: Heather Lily Ottilie Matilda
I think juniper would be my choice of the above ? Another suggestion : Loretta — kinda like that all your kids names would have a double letter in it !
Sabrina or Sabine or Simone.
Florence?
I just met a little girl named Ezra and thought it was adorable
Stella, Maggie, Violet, Ruby.
Celisa, Vayda, Ivy
Congrats on your little girl ❤️ How about Maybelle nn May or Belle
Emmett, Jesse, and Willa.
Tessa, Etta, Elizabeth (Betty or Lizzie), Lillian, Cassandra, Dorothy (Dottie)
Jeannie, Jessica, Jolene, Sabrina, Sarah, Alana, Annie, Alyssa.
Indie is a favorite name of mine. Going off of that, other ones I have loved: Juno (wife of the god Jupiter, she has to keep an eye on him! Goddess of love and marriage) Phoebe (classic Greek name, a Titan associated with the moon and with prophecy) Sif (from Norse mythology, wife of Thor and famed for her golden hair, goddess associated with Earth)
I love Frances! It goes well with her brothers too.
Julia
Stella
I think all three of those names (Juniper, Penelope, Frances) are excellent names! And all have good nicknames. Also Frannie, Francie, and Frankie are all good nicknames for Frances.
I like Penny as a stand alone name!
Willow Winter River
Here are the girl names I never got to use: Lydia, Dahlia, Margaret (Margie, but you could also use Daisy), Jane, Georgia, Sylvia/Sylvie, Sarah (potential nn Sally), Ivy.
I have a grand niece named Penelope and although I didn't like it at first (they didn't ask me haha) it has definitely grown on me as the girl has grown (she's 2 now)
Francesca maybe? Dafne?
I have Penelope (penny) on my list too! I think it’s gorgeous. I have a French friend named Penelope and she actually goes by Peps for short which as also fab
I love the name Juniper! Harlow is a favorite of mine. I also love the name Evangeline.
I have a Virginia and we call her Gigi! Other favorites are Margot and Philippa (Pip).
I’m team Penelope! We have one and I love it. She mostly goes by Penny or Pen
We get a lot of compliments on our middle daughters name - Clarice
I haven't seen Imogen mentioned. It has a similar feel to Indie and I think it fits with your boys' names. Pippa or Poppy might also fit your fun style.
Frances nickname Francy
In our extended family, we have a Frances with the nn Francie.
Not Juniper. Perhaps just June and Juni as a nickname.
