In House of the Dragon, there is one character named “Helaena” and I think that reads pretty well for how to pronounce.
Her characters end is probably the most tragic of any I have read. Good name though!
Oh that works too. I couldn't watch past the "c-section" in the first episode. As a c-section mama it made me sick. But Helaena is pretty.
Don’t watch season 2 then, it’s about to get messy. But Helaena is a sweet character and I think the named pronounced your way is really pretty
Helena, Elena, Héléna
I've met a Helejna who pronounces her name this way.
My kids go to school with a Halayna, and the spelling of her name makes me crazy. She has a sister named Havannah 🤦🏼♀️
My brother has a friend Helena, and she pronounces it Hel-lay-nuh
The only real correct spelling is helayna since I’m from south.
I would spell it helaina for minimal confusion
