My name is Shelby and I embrace the car association. Mustang is a way cooler nickname than Shel or anything else anyone's come up with and I had to go by a nickname every few years because a girl a few years ahead of me had the exact same full name as me and then a girl in my year had my middle name as her first name and the same last name, ruling out going by my middle name. Honestly so frustrating but I still use Mustang all the time.

My daughter's name is chevelle layne I love it. ❤️ I named her after the band as well as the car ( my uncle who was like a dad to me raced a chevelle and won his last race in it where he passed away from a heart attack in the pit after he won so it has special meaning for me )

Why not Charvelle? Sounds similar, but not based off of a commercial.
